Reports indicate DnD and MTG are going the GW route. Can CGL fans bring these people into CGL products? If you do, it would be awesome. Another GW like migration would secure your jobs in a time of crisis.
I have a complaint (and also useful advice to you), not about your company (which as done a great job), but towards third party who delivers Battletech presence in Facebook. Classic Battletech Facebook community is not friendly. They complain about political censorship but they ban you if you contribute a lot in their Facebook group. Even if it remains on topic, posting "too much" is spam. How much is too much? Staying on topic with positive comments isn't giving away your time to motivate other players? I even have made arts for "Battletech fan" youtube channel. Should I stop contributing and using my time on Battletech for free? It seems lazy moderation and cultural intolerance to me. In Spanish, if you make a long text, people appreciate the time you took to communicate, and if you add elegant words that prove you are using your brain, it flatters the reader. But in English, moderation is lazy, so you need to use few words. How many is few words? It seems zero is best. So in the end moderation becomes a matter of emotional moderation, which is exactly the problem in political censorship. If a moderator is triggered, a ban takes place. Also, if repeating posts is a sin, what do you do when you have many new members asking the same question? How cannot repeat the same answer to the same question? Classic Battletech advertises itself as friendly, but they are not. In the Battletech group from Spain they do not ban for being too enthusiastic, or write too long. Do not misunderstand me. Not all Battletech groups are like that, but Classic Battletech is one of the biggest groups, and they may end destroying the marketing of Catalyst Games if they persist with such censorship attitudes. Facebook groups are not official Catalyst Game Labs or Topps representatives, and its employees are not moderators. In Spanish there is no such a thing like "rant" (which involves despise towards someone's words) and in English the Spanish word "convivir" has no full equivalent. I can tell you something. Coming from a miniatures gaming background and having looked at the photos, I would have liked the detail to be a little crispier on the minis, but you’re right that they’re much much better than the old ones, though the hard plastics that came in the 25 year boxed set were really good. Thanks for sharing it with us and stay safe
We think they dont show up as crisp in the picture because of the lighting we used. Which most of us internally thought made the mini's look softer then they actually look. Were looking to see what else we can do to help that with future pictures of the mini's

Looking forward to more of these videos and as a suggestion, it would be nice if eventually you guys had some learn to play videos, even if you commissioned them from a wargamer channel - I’ve seen some from other wargaming companies and they really are helpful (combat commander and world at war 85 are two that come to mind)
I'm hoping they work hard on balancing any campaign stuff with the clans. I've been a long time player and I've seen too much of the game get unbalanced by the clans. I almost play exclusively 3043 or earlier. That being said I'm excited about this release from them. I'm really happy with the details on the new plastic minis.

I been wanting to make a video showing a side by side classic, project Phoenix, and new releases. Talk about what I like and dislike about each figured. But never did.... I guss I would of have more time if I would have volunteered to be layoff from my job. No really because of what is going on with this virus and oil prices in the hole, the company I work for asked for volunteers to be layoff. I was really thinking about doing it.
We think so as well! Were brand new to this. But we have plans to try and fix that next time more mini's or other Clan Invasion product comes in. Were currently limited on the technology to do some of the fancier things like having a second camera ;) were working on it.

Battletech has cool trailers for digital game. But there is no cool video that shows average people why it is epic to play tabletop Battletech.
