If you have the tools you could probably get that the lumber and plywood for 50 bucks. It's not a lot of wood so you can probably find most of the stuff laying around for free. Masonite is like 10 bucks for a 4x8 sheet. Hidden cost is usually in screws and stuff which can cost so freaking much on larger ramps. Birch ply is probably like 25 bucks for a 4x8 sheet. You can get smaller pieces precut as well.
I just came across this and was wondering the same thing. Obviously, it wouldn't take much thinking to get it done but knowing the measurements would be nice.
Nails bend, screws snap. I suggest only screwing your plywood down and not the actual framework. This is why we use nail guns to frame houses. Nails have a much stronger shear force where as screws are brittle and will snap.
My uncles built my bro and I one of these like 20 years ago, i had a whole skatepark, it was awesome. Skateboarding will always be special to me !
I just build a box so I can skate while at home. I had some leftover stuff so I’m gonna try and build one of these for the garage
Ok
do more vids like this! How to build a ledge and others!!!Thanks.
"Go steal a sign and put it on there I mean go buy a sign and put it on there"😂😂
Misbehave I
I want to build one of these, with a flat ground raised to the same height as it, then a 3 or 4 stair at the end of the raised flat.
Yup that's exactly what I wanted to build a couple of years ago but I figured the run up would be a bit too short before the stairs
Thanks ccs that helped a lot
Thank you Guys!!!!
thanks i really wanted to make one soon and had no idea how
How do you implant the sheet of metal under it?
Assume it's fixed to the ply underneath... Flat metal or something you might use for a doorway ?
Do more of this builds! Love it!
I agree very helpful!

What is that black strip at the edge of the ramp? The video didn't say.
It is a metal sheet to help you role onto the ramp more smoothly

what is the with and length of the ramp
