Great reaction, thank you! Freddie wrote this in a hotel bathtub in 10 minutes. He called down for a guitar when this song came to him. He always said he was a lousy guitar player and only knew 4 chords, but Brian May disagreed! Brian always said he was very good on rhythm guitar. It became a number 1 hit in the States. Peter Hince, Freddie and John's roadie, tells about it in his book. There are also lots of interviews about the song! Great video!!

Fun song and reaction! Freddie Mercury was a little gender-bending, and Queen was a little genre-bending in their music: rock, opera, 1950s rockabilly, R&B, dance, etc. "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" was released in 1979-80, a year before the Stray Cats hit it big with their rockabilly-inspired hits "Rock This Town," "Stray Cat Strut" and "Sexy and 17."
Yep, you got that 50's Grease vibe & it ties in with the whole rockabilly thing as this was Freddie's tribute to Elvis (especially his early sound).
Great to see you doing some more Queen! Would love to see you check out "Dreamer's Ball" live Paris 1979. It's Freddie having a lot of fun doing New Orleans style blues/jazz.💙

Yes Queen is a great band buy really may , your obsessed, try ANYTHING else besides Pink Floyd , theirs lots of real great music out their , AC DC, Boston, Chicago. Even Neil Diamond would be great, Peace
