You can’t please all the people all the time…. WHO CARES. They’re your builds that I for one love to follow Jeff.
Your cars, your builds. If some one have a opinion on that they can start their own channels.
You have proven yourself as a bad ass builder time after time, do as you've planned. It will be fantastic .
Exactly!
Exactly spot on! Your builds, your choices. Enjoying this build as well, keep up the great work Jeff, you are doing everything right.
Totally agree👍
Jeff if you built everything the same as everyone else you might as well go to the dealer and buy a new car fresh off the shelf, you are building what you want and 99 % of us are amazed how you do it and stunned by the end results, do what you do because we love what you do
OMG call the waaambulance! How dare someone plan to modify their own vehicle without asking the permission of everyone who doesn't own it! 🙄😜
I'm not sure about anyone else but I quite enjoy doing rust repairs - I love the problem-solving creativity of it. And watching it isn't too bad either 🤷♂
While I'm not a fan of 'Patina builds' (mostly because they're overdone here in the States) I agree with you. It's your project, and the only person that absolutely needs to like it is you.
I'm just here to see you do things (twice at times) and enjoy your take on the hobby.
I watch Jeff because I like his builds. But more importantly, because I like HIM. Whatever he does is entertaining and interesting. I can’t wait to see how he handles a patina build. 😊👍👍
Paint the thing whatever colour you like. Add Mr Blobby spots. Make the inside cerise pink. I mean, after the tartan, who can be surprised by your choices 😁 it’s your damned vehicle, do whatever you want 👍
Build it how you want if Jeff - I trust your taste !
i only said "my god" after seeing the window frame, you are a master fabricator! Respect!
Great project. Picking up new information from you makes my work better. Be well.
Exactly right, your build your vision, those of us who enjoy your work will be here, those that cry the loudest have an easy solution BUILD YOUR OWN THEN. keep going Jeff we will be here, cheers.
It’s your build Jeff! I’m not a big patina guy myself, but so what? It’s yours to do with as you see fit. By the way, you have inspired me to finally get my own rebuild. After building a couple engines, and doing most of my own vehicle maintenance, I’ve finally bought my first project car! I’m going to restore a 1966 Triumph GT6 Mark II. Wish me luck!
I'm looking forward to the patina build, Jeff. You have nailed the show car paint job many times, now it's time for something different 👍
Hey Jeff, your craftmanship is amazing to me. Thanks for sharing it with us and keep doing your thing!
Glad to see Jeff get started on this project, great job Jeff.👍😎👍
Thanks for the tip on the magnetic plug weld tool! Great work. Cheers.
the patina will look awesome. you've shown that you can paint a car and make it look great. never hurts to do something different!
Wonderful Jeff, you do whatever you want and need to do with your cars. We're all just blessed to have this high quality content to enjoy each week. Please keeo doing what you 're doing, it's brilliant and thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you.
Patina build it the way to go :)
Agreed love to see your airbrushing skills also.
Pattina buid is perfect !!
incredible work getting the windscreen edges recreated. It's amazing your talents are able to take a pile of rust and transform it back to its original glory.
As someone doing a patina build myself, I’m all for this
You have repaired it beautifully again 👍🏻🙂
Nice job, Jeff and Mrs. Greetings from a wet South Africa
Jeff, waiting for you to add the English wheel to your tool (toy?) collection!! That roof is going to be a challenge.
It s your project, we are just fascinated spectators, home built it as you want 😋
Always amazed how You are doing those super complex tasks making us thinking il is super simple. It is not. You’re just very talented and very humble.
Im just glad you are making the inside showroom i like patina and mint interior
It's your truck . Build it as you like .
Patina build is not for me but then it's not my build. I'm just amazed with the broad spread of skills you have and watch for that; so much talent!
I’m glad you got the number plate ok! Hope you like it.
Keep up the good work 👍
Rob
Thanks Rob. I has taken prime position over the booth :D
Built it the way you like it Jeff and suprise us like you have done before 👍
You do some fine work, I enjoy watching your videos!!!
dont listen to the haters. build what you want to build and 99% of people will love it !
When you announced the build I thought to myself, "that would be a great patina car, too bad Jeff is into perfect paint jobs."
I'm pleased you're going this route 😉
You builds your way...period! There will always be those who don't like what you're building. They can build their own stuff!
Do what you think is right for you, Mr. Jeff👍
Looks good from my house!! lol
Love all your builds, keep it up!!
A little bit of advice guidance from the comments is good but at the end of the day it’s you cars and your builds. I’ve loved everything you’ve made so just keep doing what you’ve doing mate. I was about to comment about getting some copper to put behind the those little rust holes to weld them up but what you have is 10 times better than how I’ve been doing it. I will be buying one of those tools you have.
The Alfa looks great in yellow.
Lol too bad if someone dont like the colour you picked ... They can paint thier own car whatever colour they like . I enjoy seeing the tools and methods used for these repairs . Thanks !
enjoy watching you talk that metal into shape
Cool Project / Top Job (As Always)👌🏻🙏🏻🏁
It’s not my cup of tea the finish you are after, but, at the end of the day mate, it’s your truck, your drive, so go with what you want, I will still watch and enjoy the entertainment journey you are going to take us on.
Love seeing how you approach these tricky corners Jeff. Great video as usual.
The UK number plate isn't a registered plate. Check out DVLA number plates to see the variations. No numbers in that one, so it's a made up plate.
I lovery this, slowly slowly but great to see progress and really gives an idea of what it takes!
Criticism comes cheaper than craftsmanship!
Jeff’s not building his cars hoping for ur approval, he’s building them because it meets his!
Love the patina look
It’s going to be super rad. Follow your vision
Nice !!! You have an Oregon License Plate hanging in your shop.👍
Build it how you want to Jeff!
I love the idea of the patina build. You have shown time and time again that you can do azing paint jobs. Can't wait to see how this turns out. Still gotta have (patina) racing stripes to be a Jeff build.
Great work so far, Jeff! I reckon it will look brilliant! A patina finished hauler with two show quality custom builds on the back. It will pretty much cover the whole gamut of car customisation in one hit. It's a pity the coaster body couldn't be built into a mobile workshop trailer. Cheers, mate.
I would have mixed patina with some nice paint. Can't wait to see it finished.
You do you. Respect for your projects.
Hi Jeff, not surprising the compound curves are difficult if you imagine the original pressing would also have been done over a number of operations.. Good job mate😉
HBBJAUS plate… Home Built by Jeff Australia.. LOVE IT!
I thank you 🙏
Old cars, old stuff, theres so much beauty in all makes and models its difficult to be brand specific.
When one has a creative eye and a technical itch to make something, its what you see at the time that determines what you buy or build.
I love it all.
Go for it Jeff, enjoy yourself. Tomorrow is not guaranteed......
Making your cab as a ‘rat rod’ is a great idea… love the look!🤩👍
Nice work Jeff. Watch that unimog video as he’s doing exactly the same thing, he modified the internal roof edge to stop the condensation which causes the rust in the first place.
Another great example of welding. As to the finish I imagine it will look great as have all the others. If you asked me if it would be how I would do it? I suspect the answer from most people would be no. But as mentioned I don’t watch the show to criticise the colour. I just think the work is outstanding. Keep up the good work.
This project has got me really excited Jeff !! The old girl deserves a resto !!
As always curious about the excellent result!
Patina is much more interesting than fresh lipstick. Stick with your plan. Some airbrushed artwork on the doors would be cool…..
Small thing; but, going to be wild to see that glass cleaned up.
Getting on really well with the tig there Jeff, good on ya! This kind of rust is annoying as it has to be fixed, but nobody’s ever going to think twice about it later… oh well! Power on good sir 😄💪
It is tedious, but it needs to be done to move forward :D
Looking awesome so far mate looming forward to seeing it finished are replacing the roof or repairing it
At the end of the day Jeff these are your cars/trucks and you should build it the way you want but I dig the patina vibe. Good luck and this message will self destruct in ten seconds.
Patina build! Why not, age related to your spec!
Good on you fella, your trainset and run it how you like!
Really enjoying your blogs, whish I had your confidence and skill
Yeah we used to load up the roof and bull bar of a HiAce van an with hay bails to get them back from the field on a small farm, anything we could use to carry bails on bailing day got roped into service
People will always have an opinion Jeff. Ur vehicles, ur builds, ur time, ur creative talent, so build them as you see fit. Love your channel mate so keep doing what you do best, self builds. Regards from the UK.
Looking to the before and after🛠🔧🪚🔩🧲great work as usual Jeff✌
I think all your builds are fantastic. Don’t stop what you are doing 🤩🤩
with the rust pitting that hasn't gone through . fill them with brass. It files / grinds smooth and makes a very solid base.
Nice progress, well done! :)
Muy buen trabajo
This is a colossal effort project and it will be costly your skills now deserve something beautiful and universally desired that will last and be cherished for the next 100 years .
Japanese GP Quali and Jeff. Perfect Saturday morning.
You're doing all the work, you get to build it as you like. Not a fan of patina but I am a fan of you and Mrs, Jeff and will continue to get up on Sunday mornings and watch a master at work.
Good for you Jeff. Cool project. Intrested to see how it continues.
Great job Jeff, love all or any projects. I have many different projects on my channel and my subscribers seem not to like my 74 911 build. Keep on working on it brother.
Your build, you do it how you like. I'm not a fan of patina. It's been done to death and almost feels like "I can't be arsed to finish it properly" But it's your ride.
Loving the fact this will be a patina build, the last build was better than showroom so this will just showcase another skill 👍🏼
I know you’re trying not to upset your viewers, but sometimes you just have to say 🖕🏻it. It’s your build, you do you. I like everything you fiddle with. It’s very entertaining and I look forward to every episode. Have a terrific week 😁👍🏻👋🏻
Watching you disassemble and rebuild the body is my favourite part of the build, especially when you make it look so easy.
PATINA! How Dare you! Kidding. I am excited to see however you build it.
People need to trust your process... Your builds have always turned out magnificent. Keep up the great work Jeff.
You are an inspiration to me to be a better man, I would have just told all the trolls to keep their opinions to themselves and go F off if they don’t like it. Now I would just tell the to F off, growth. Love the project, love the direction, keep doing you. I have said for years I don’t know why you aren’t at a million followers is beyond me!
I’m with you Jeff…you do you. I’m not a one brand person either and like a broad spectrum of cars/builds. 😀👍👍
Luv your work mate, very tedious work. I daresay you have explored replacement panels or sections that are economically viable.
Great channel mate. Really enjoying watching it here in Slovenija. Play some Diesel for us. 🎸😀🍻😎👍
I’m am always impressed by people who see potential where I see a pile of rust.
Love it! Good work Jeff!
Nice nickname, the Frankenhauler, love it Jeff!
Cheers 👍💪✌
Nothing suspicious about the AlGoreRhythm
Love the BCW hoodie with custom car fluid stain on the front, I hope Benny's proud 🤣
That window repair is something else. Mesmerised by watching it take shape. Amazing stuff. ❤❤
Looking good 👍, the new top windscreen panel looked marginally longer than original so may be worth checking if any hassle when fitting the screen and rubber if seems tight
Measure twice cut once mate, stuff like that is last bit to trim once the surround is finished
i admire your shiny cars, but this is another challenge. and being an airbrush artist, who can do this better?
Who cares what color it comes out, I'm here to learn, not to dictate to somebody what color they should paint their car. As for this build, one of the coolest cars I ever saw was a California car with plenty of 'patina' that somebody had sanded and clear coated. It was simply awesome. For this build, I'm most curious as to how you're going to blend the new metal in with the old patina. Carry on!
