That props up the ongoing theory that it was indeed a "heavenly object". Pretty amazing what science can prove all those years later. A Cosmic dagger indeed...
If they had made that the drill tubes and other tools to shape rocks would be made just as good as now and add some diamond dust on mm, cm sizes and maybe higher that were used in cutting and details with art. They are still in Egypt or were melted down later after or transported outside Egypt and misplaced someplace on land or oceans and seas or are locked up and safe.
Dagger was a gift from Mitanni (north Iraq). first Xray study made in 2016

No, Tutankahmun's dagger didn't come from outer space. Please, do not feed the crazy people minds. The material the dagger was made of came from outer space. Which is a very different fact.
Thank you for sharing these fascinating news; they open to new fields of research. Meteorites passed through atmosphere and this, obviously can modify their molecolar structure and/or composition. It could be quite different from what is called outer space material.
I have heard of meteorite metal knives used by Arctic tribes, so this is fascinating. It makes sense that the Ancient Egyptians would use meteoric metal for a Pharaoh's knife, because of their religious beliefs.
the scientists involved should consider other items of the pharoah and possibly other peoples' artifacts within these same parameters of possibility!!!
The whole earth is extraterrestrial. The solar system is extraterrestrial. All the solar system evolved through an extraterrestrial compound. A mixture of all in the surrounding universe. 🙏🙏
My opinion is irrelevant, but I'd like to say the production techniques and commentary of these science documentaries are beginning to grate on me now.
Your opinion is no more or less relevant than anyone else’s. Why lead with that, then give your opinion? Either take up some space or not, but make up your mind. I say this out of caring. I would once have done that.

The genes of the Egyptian pharaohs came from a mixture of Mediterranean seeds and Red Sea seeds. So Tutankhamun was half European and half Arab. 👩🏾🤝👨🏻👩🏻🤝👨🏾

Meteorites were often used as metal sources.
Yeah they called it "metal of heaven" which interestingly also tells they knew what meteorites were
True yt pros like myself know the comments are where the *real* experts are.
Misleading headline. The metal in the dagger came from an iron meteorite. What is impressive, is the craftmanship of making the dagger.
They are masters of clickbait

I'm begging you guys to put more long form videos up these 3min clips are pointless.
Agree. The 3 minute clip makes us want the rest. It only makes sense to release these IF you follow up with the longer version.
Old news. Without watching this vid I know it was established several years ago the dagger is made from a meteorite that fell to earth

This needs to be a 'sticky' up at the very top.
Not just metals from space. Your body is made of carbon, i. e. Stardust

No, the internal structure of meteorites is always the same as it was in outer space. This info is not new either.
The narrator should work as a sales manager. 😂
I trying to figure out where Trump's golden slipers came from.
Very misleading language. The iron used in the blade came from "outer space", not the dagger as a whole.
Are you telling me, that clickbait is stil not a thing?
That would depend on one's ontology.@@impalabeeper

Everything came from space 😅
It's both,it came from the metal found in a meteorite, but made on earth, stop with the conspiracy theories

True. Half Greek actually...

Why is it so surprising that the dagger was a gift by an alien
X ray spectrometers are nothing new. You don't need to be a physicist to use one. All a lot of hype.
Saying the dagger is from outer space is misinformation. The iron it was made from is from outer space. Earned my thumbs down.
Yep. So frustrating. Click bait misinformation. BBC appears to be going the way of NatGeo, History, and Discovery.
Did the material Tutankahmun's Dagger is made from come from space? Doesn't have the same algorithmic ring to it
Seriously? Y'all are way too triggered. That title has an obvious non-et meaning. They even say that line in the video.

Nothing new or interesting here.
Poor work from the BBC.

😂 emphasising “outer space” instead of “a meteorite fallen to Earth” …as if conspiracy theorists need encouragement 🙄 Still fascinating though.
The Dagger was not from space !
The metal used to make the dagger had come from space.
Facts matter!
Aliens!
The material came from outer space. Not the dagger. Be better.
Oh dear, I’d hoped for better from BBC. Clickbait title and dumbed-down narration. Unsubscribed.
Aliens
Both wrong .... its from Inner Earth ......
No, the material for the Blade is meteorite material
Reported as misinformation. And thats why I refuse to pay for a TV license😊
Boohoo
It’s not misinformation.
