This looks really friggin good for what it was. This would not look out of place in something like Halloween H20 considering the varying levels of mask quality. When rehauled it reminds me a lot of the stan winston mask primarily used in H20

Turned out pretty nice! The mask isn’t a bad sculpt but they seem to have cut the eye holes out a little too much and didn’t get the shape of them right.
The funny thing is that technique you mentioned in the beginning of the video to rehaul the mask “the Tommy Lee Wallace method” was nothing like what you did here. At all. There was zero weathering, zero black wash, he literally just painted the mask all white, and the shadows and “weathering” effects were all achieved through the use of camera work and lighting on set. If you have never seen it, there’s a full video on how he did it. It literally took him less than like 5 minutes. Paint the entire face all white, and then just streaks n tips for the hair. Thats it. Literally.
He trims the eyes also and yeah the shadows were achieved by the great lighting work of Dean Cundey. I did the TLW method but I was also going for a flashback look WHICH has the shadow work painted in.
Again, I have to say that this was never for a second a "bad" Myers mask if the only thing it needed was a small amount of spray paint and some water in the hair to sell the effect. In fact, I'm a little upset that you didn't link the original mask you bought in the description like others do. I WANT this mask, so I can do the same thing to it.

In fact, if you think this was a bad Michael Myers mask, you need to look up some unboxings, because this mask YOU started with was only a couple steps away, in terms of sculpt. The eyes and nose holes are a little off, that was the only issue, really. Otherwise, I have to say that if you managed to accomplish THIS with some spray paint, then this was NEVER a bad mask. Other masks need so much more for this.
