wonderful chops ! would love to hear you perform some great horn style jazz standards on that bad boy. I made my cheap squire jazz into a fretless just for the fun of it and I enjoy it. But need to move up to a real bass like the one you played so nicely on. Stay well and keep up the inspiring playing ;)
I have this bass. It's awesome. It's the GWB205. The 20th anniversary came with aguilar pickup and sunburst on the headstock. Nice playing man. I hope to get to that speed one day.
Hy Siyong, greatings for your playing! How you have setting your bass: the rear bartolini electronic and the bass and high knob? Thank you for your answer, if you want! Giuseppe (Italy)
All the volume values were raised to Full, and the string height was originally high, but due to the nature of this instrument, the height was moderately lowered. But I hate buzzing. I set it like that because I like the string height until buzzing
Is the GWB205 in this video the exact same components and build as the new GWB25thSWF? (25th anniversary edition). I have to choose between these 2 basses as the GWB35 I paid for is not in stock anyhow, so I may as well upgrade to one of these anniversary edition basses (2oth or 25th). Any idea if these 2 anniversary basses are pretty much an identical build? *note for other potential buyers of the GWB series: I later found out the GWB25thSWF is based on the build of the GWB205. Same specs and same build as I understand now...
@@siyongleebass8884 You should be jamming with GARY and TRIBAL TECH, holy smokes you really impress with this video. Your picking hand, do you use 2 fingers only or are you using 3 or even 4 fingers? How is the GWB205 for SLAP TECHNIQUE on the higher pitch strings? That's my concern with the base model of this series the GWB35. Maybe the GWB205 is better for picking up feint slap sounds on the higher pitch strings. MUCH RESPECT & THANKS FOR YOUR HELP/ADVICE.
Both instruments have their advantages. The jazz bass makes it easier to play natural and rich sounds, and the instrument makes it possible to produce multiple sounds while slightly artificially toning. The GWB bass has a darker unique color.
that articulation is so solid.
와 당연히 해외 영상인줄 알았는데 뒤에 바나나킥이 있었네 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 좋은연주 잘 듣고 갑니다 ㅎ
That is so awesome.. What great playing and emotion. Vey enjoyable.
Thanks

I asked Gary myself, but I preferred this model.

프랫리스의 붐은 온다...
ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ적당적당하게 붐이었다고 생각해요 전
What are the difference btw all his models...do they sound all the same?
Pickups are different, so the sound may feel different
Very nice playing. I really enjoy your channel. How do you like the Ibanez verses your Jazz fretless in terms of playability?

pfffff Gary Willis likes this
Thanks :)
