Great advice, which I share with my students. Fantastic impersonation of Mark Gould! :)

Again, this is great stuff! I like the idea of not listening to just trumpeters!!! Trumpet purgatory! What a hoot! It takes some sand for a trumpet teacher to say some of this. However, that sand is justfied when you PLAY like Mr. Lindemann!!

There are two types of trumpeters :
    small pieces
•Good for High range pop (not too hard to have a double high C) .
•Piercing Tone ( it becomes annoying to the ears) .
    •Piercing articulations ( same as above ) .
    Big pieces
•Velvet tone( greater bell resonance) .
•Pleasing articulations ( you never get tired of it) .
    •Greater dynamics .
•Not good for lead and endurance ( reason for the rejection)
Is a lot better to have both sides ..... two Mpcs
1 show, jazz lead, picc .
    2 Orchestral , solo etc .
A better idea than just say .... don’t use that or this .
