I run Heatwave on my SY list instead of Bomb Heaver. Even though it is significantly more expensive it is the only thing that banishes scenarios so it completely bricks the NG double scenario BS that is running rampart. I also feel like if your opponent doesn't play a scenario you can get more points out of Heatwave than the simple 4 that Bomb Heaver gives you, by banishing a tall unit for example. I've also encountered some mild success against SK by banishing Cerys on round one, making their Lippy awkward. Overall I feel like banishing anything that your opponent needs to rely on playing multiple times is always a good exchange.
Also great against Monster Decks, especially Detlaff abusers. Sometimes destroying isn't good enough. Sometimes you need to remove things from all of existence. Nothing is safe from Heatwave. No card type. No amount of strength. No effect. Unit? Sure. Artifact? No problem. Scenario? Begone. Shield? I'm not damaging you. I'm deleting you. Want to resurrect? You don't die. You stop existing. I love it.
I had a lot of luck with pincer. commandos and scouts. revenants already on the rows and draug. had a really good deck using tridam with corvo and maybe dropping a mage but it was on PS4 and only just decided to start from scratch I'm actually crying.i understand why they had to take it off but.... My god I spent hours playing Gwent and it all went to waste
Serious question, how on earth does a streamer/seemingly every other Gwent player than me have seemingly infinite scraps? I feel like I struggle to get 3-4K in a week
I have never been able to get the hang of Gwent. In Witcher or most especially in this spinoff special. I think i just have a hard case of the Dumb when it comes to the strategy and tactics of these cards.....
Dude, I know SY is extra strong (not so much like people say, but thats another point) but, playing ranked, I feel like NR are so strong right now, especially with Draug
