Great designs! The PFB with the black mahi is pretty slick. I'm a Suzuki guy so the boat with the white Suzuki was my close second favorite. Keep up the content. Excellent work.
I like the shirt with the boat on the back. Glad you took that thing off the back ...Looks alot better. And don't beat yourself up about the steering. Happens alot more than you think.

PFB Sunshirt long sleeve, what a great channel, you have done a great job, the amount of work you both have done is amazing. if you dont have it yet, i highly reccomend adding Floscan fuel monitoring to your boat. If you ever want to go far, you have to know how much fuel you have used and left, floscan is the best way. Also you can use it to maximize your trim adjustments. Floscan gives total fuel burned, and live fuel useage. Best thing i added to a boat and have added to every boat i owned since. Thanks for all the how to repairs and rehab on the boat!
Thank you so much for the comment! When we upgrade our gps to a new garmin, I believe our Suzuki gauges connect to that and show fuel use but I’ll definitely look into that because we are absolutely going on long range trips this summer. Thank you for watching and we have a lot more how tos coming up! Work on the boat is never done lol
Great Video my Brother! Little by Little...with seatow there's nothing to worry about, just sit back and enjoy the ride home. Blessings! Peace from the Keys!
Capt. Josh! I didn’t even realize that was you! Hahhaa 🤦🏻♂️ i apologize I was rapid firing to comments and didn’t make the distinction of “Josh and Joshua”. You found us on here! 🙏 thank you again for your service youre the best! We were impressed at how good you are at your job! See you out there and hopefully we won’t be having to use SEATOW anymore lol 🤙
Suzuki Marine moved their HQ next to my office in Tampa. May be a good time to consider working with them to repower / sponsor your project with a new engine :) My DF115 runs great and quiet every day. Thanks again for the awesome videos!
I think we beat you to this comment 🤣 we decided to go with a Suzuki 250 new out of the box! Not sure if our channel is big enough to have them sponsor us but, @Suzukimarine , If youre listening, help a channel out! Lol Check our latest video where we take the boat out on her first fishing trip! We couldn’t be happier with this motor we LOVE it! Thank you for the comment 🤙🍻
Thank you so much for the positive comments! We appreciate the feedback. Our goal we to do exactly that. But life, weather, and other boat issues has kept us from posting every week. We currently have 4 videos to put out that we just finished projects on. We did the transom, we painted the boat, bought an ac system and we’re getting a new motor put on! The motor is a big one because we can reliably go out every week to post content. We promise that within the next month you’ll see new content at least every 2 weeks! 🍻
Perseverance = success!! Congratulations on getting the boat on the water and enjoying your hard work. I am sure there is more to come and I will be looking out for more videos. More than a project you are making memories. Priceless!!
glad you got this thing on the water. I have a 1985 228 seafarer and had to do almost everything you did. Been on the water 8 times already this year and has made all that work worth it.
Thanks Justin we appreciate that! Once we got out there, youre right, it’s made all that work worth it! We still have work to do but at least we know she floats! 🤙
Sean, youre very welcome! We did our best to show that anyone with no electrical knowledge can wire their boat! We love that design! Thanks for the support brother! 🤙
Oh man that’s so awesome! If you can, send us some pics of the restore to our email! We love looking at everyone’s projects. It helps with ideas for ours! You might want to start posting on your channel as well! Lots of people are interested in boat restores! That point right before you’re about to get her on the water is so exciting! We’re excited for you! 🤣 thanks for the comment! 🤙
@@perfectfitboating ya ive thought about making videos but im not really sure where to start. Panga im working on right now isnt a full restoration, i just re wired it and got it running plus a few odds and ends. the next boat im doing though is going to be a full restoration. the boat is a 24' skipjack fly bridge pretty excited. Anyway keep the videos rolling!
I’ve watched all your videos. I’m redoing my boat now. Your content has helped a ton. Great job and good looking boat guys. Im here in south Texas corpus area. Great fishing and water fun constantly. Happy boating
Hey Blake! Thank you so much for the positive comments! I’m glad our videos can help! We just got back from Austin two weeks ago and we really liked it! I hear corpus is an awesome fishing town! 🤙
Score! What a great video on so many levels the videography, music, edit, nice flow, you guys did it! And MOST OF ALL…. Huge CONGRATS to you guys for this epic accomplishment and for your incredible perseverance! I wish folks truly understood the magnitude of a project like this and how much goes behind the scenes, hrs upon hrs of work, planning, excitement, let down, frustration and ultimately great reward… you guys put in some next level sweat equity and have shown us all that by doing so we all are capable if we just get gritty and put our work boots on. Hats off to you Andres and Ali! Keep these videos coming! Ash’s I’ve gotta say… the steering… I just died 😅😂. Cheers to Sea Tow too! 👊🏼 And last but not least…. That merch!!! You guys crushed it! I love the Mahi and sailfish but…. The GW on back for the win in my book 👊🏼. Let’s us know when they are available, I want to order a couple! Cheers and thanks for sharing!
Forrest you’re the man! Channels like yours give regular people the confidence to tackle projects like we did. We’ve learned so much from watching you. From fiberglass work to the editing. We are truly humbled by your words!🙏 And for the steering… 🤣🤣🤣 Sh*t happens! Lol We have to get YOUR merch up and running so let’s talk so we can make that happen! Thank you again brother. I’m grateful UA-cam has given us the opportunity to meet awesome people like yourself! And if anyone else is reading this, subscribe to Forrest’s channel right now! You won’t regret it! 🍻🤙
Yes! Well worth it! Although she’s down for a little while (transom is getting done and a paint job) she’ll be back soon. These things always take longer than anticipated 🙄 you’ll be back on the water in no time!🍻
Oh I've been on the water brother. Had to rip out my upper unit on the volvo outdrive because the asshole that I paid to change the cone clutch never did it and ended up losing fwd gear. Trying to park in a slip without fwd is pretty nerve racking. Headin out tonight to get some tuna around Catalina. Hope we can sink into some 100lbers. Keep the video coming. Great work you two! Congrats on the first couple of trips on the water! I have almost the exact same boat 1987 242g with the factory bracket and hard top and spend the last year rebuilding. It has a Johnson 225 and it gave us trouble the first couple of trips! Old fuel was the main issue but also did new fuel lines and filters, rebuild the VRO pump and new primer solenoid and it’s doing much better! Carbs next. Good luck on the repower I’m curious to see what you get and how it performs vs the ocean pro. Sweet shirts too I need the Grady one!
Patrick that’s so Awesome! Fuel seems to be an issue with these Johnson/evinrude motors. Seems like the carbs, fuel, and fuel system, and the stars have to align for it to run right 😂. Joking aside, this little boat moves with that power. I was really surprised. Cruises at 30mph no problem! We re did the power pack, timer base, starter, temp switch, temp sensor… yeah… we’re ready to put something new and reliable on there lol. We’re looking at the 250 Suzuki. We’re also curious how it will perform. If you search on UA-cam on Atlantic marines page, and search back you’ll see they repower a 24 Grady white open transom with a 300 and it runs at 48mph I believe! Not too shabby! We’re not looking to break the sound barrier, we just want to get out and come back safely while bring efficient! Thanks for the comment Patrick!🍻🤙
