What an amazing trip! My partner and I are SUPER excited to do some boat camping, we're just splashing our 23.5' cuddy for the first time this weekend.
You guys are true mariners. Too many times I see people throw the anchor overboard, but you guys know better. Florida looks so beautiful. Keep the videos coming!
Thank you so much! You’re awesome for watching and commenting! We’ve been trying to get out more but this weather is killer. So for now, projects it is! 🤙
Thanks for the comment Mark! We’re pretty close! We’re adding a fresh water tank and a couple other things but you know how it goes with boats, it’s always something 🤣 🤙
@@perfectfitboating I just saw your older videos. You two did an amazing amount of work -hard work! Looks great. Keep the good work! You'll inspire others
@markdimaio8396 thank you for watching mark! We have a bunch of other upgrades we’re doing to our bigger boat and now we have a flats skiff for more content! Hopefully we can help others with their projects by putting out videos of our projects! 🤙
Love this!! My favorite video to date! Thank you for taking us along for the adventure. Awesome content, informative, great visuals, editing, you guys rock! Keep inspiring!
What a beautiful day celebrating the New Year 🎉looks like you are making beautiful memories together. Cheers to you both for much success on this journey.
Thank you so much cap! Had to get outta there. The later it gets the more chances of people making poor decisions. Especially when the booze is flowing. Thank you so much for the support cap!
Loved this video. The scenery of Miami at night, the fireworks, beautiful!! And the food and fish looked so delicious! You guys did a great job, keep it up!!
Great video and good set up. We have a Regal 26xo that we stay in all the time. It’s great to have a partner that loves to boat camp for sure. Mine can’t get enough of it.
Jeff, that’s a blessing isn’t it? We’re slowly making her more and more comfortable for camping and we absolutely love it. We love the regal 26! You can stay on that thing for a week if you wanted! Very comfortable! Glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for commenting, we appreciate it! 🤙
Woot woot! Thank you so much! We loved Texas when we went! We stayed in Austin but heard San Antonio is cool too! I hear Corpus Christi is a great fishing destination too! 🤙
Awesome video 🔥🔥🔥 This is something thats on our bucket list to do as well. No name harbor is a nice chill spot, been there before and had a great experience as well. Cant wait to see your next adventure ⚓🛥🎣🤿
Yall should get a solar shower. We always have one with us and keep it on the bow or Bimini top during the day. The sun warms the water so you can shower at night
Happy new year Larry! You really can’t beat a fresh fish sandwich! Doesn’t get much fresher than that! And who doesn’t love steak and eggs for breakfast!? The best! Thanks for always watching Larry!🤙
Now that sounds like it would be a sight to see! Miami has great spots to visit by boat! You guys would have a blast! And if you ever to make that trip we’d love to meet up with you guys! 🤙
Andres, I will reach out to Steve at Lakeshore marine in Okeechobee. I’ll see if he can do for me and if the trip is worth my time. Thank you and keep enjoying that excellent boat you both have revised from the dead. Great job.
So they have a sea wall you can use from sunrise to sunset. That fee is $8 for the day. No power, but there’s restrooms at the restaurant. No showers. And they have a pump out station. Anchoring in the harbor is $20 a night. Or you can anchor right outside the little cove for free which is protected from winds coming from the east! 🤙
I know you like the Out On The Reef channel. Expedition Sea Nest is a good one too for small boat adventures. They stay for months on a Ranger Tug R25.
Yes we recently found them! Super cool channel! That’s a super neat boat! Definitely on our bucket list to stay months on a boat in the Bahamas! One day! 🤙
@@perfectfitboating I just found your channel. Thanks for keeping it accessible. Life By The Bow is another cool channel, but they’re playing on a level not obtainable to most. Good for you guys for making it happen. Im hoping to start overnighting as soon as my son gets a little older.
@garya.369 thank you so much for the comment! We love their channel as well! What’s great about this UA-cam thing is that everyone is so different and the viewers get a variety of great things to watch! Excited for you to get out there! Those are memories your son will never forget! 🤙
Hey guys that sleep over on the boat was very nice. Loved that new Suzuki that you all installed on the boat. I’m sure it’s a dream engine and extremely quiet. I will have to re-power soon and thought that a Suzuki might be a great option. Powering it with a 115HP will be more than sufficient for my Mako 17’ , 2001. It actually has a Mercury 90HP, but it’s seeing better days. If you have any great advice on how to go about a finding a great deal, even if a 2022 with low hours, I’ll be happy to hear you. Keep on enjoying that great boat you both brought back from the dead. 😊
Jorge, thank you so much for watching and supporting our channel! We love our Suzuki and everyone we know that has one, love them too. We recommend you pay Ruben at reliable marine a visit. They can get you sorted out with anything Suzuki. Probably even used. That’s where we got ours. Fast work, best prices anywhere. 🤙🛥️🌊
Andres, thank you so much for your reply. I’m sure that Ruben is excellent and you highly recommend him. Unfortunately we do not live in Miami or Key Largo since 2019. We moved to Orlando to be with the rest of the family. However, I do like that have had a great experience with the Suzuki engine and everyone you know that had one. I agree, the value for the price is unmatched comparing it to Yamaha and Honda. I believe they are overpriced. I don’t like Mercury anymore and even though I did have an Evenrude for some time on another boat we had, also a 17’, they don’t make them the same anymore. If you happen to connect with someone or Ruben knows someone in Orlando or Merritt Island, close to Cocoa Beach where my some lives now, please let me know you he would recommend in those two areas. In fact, that’s where we will be doing most of our boating. By the way, those LED’s you installed on your boat are awesome. What a nice set up you have. Congrats! I’ll check to see all your progress. Have a great good time and be safe out there, Miami and the Keys are kinda difficult to boat these days as my friends tell me. Just be defensive and watch out for the irresponsible excessive drinkers out there. I know, I did boating in the Keys for 23 years and it’s gotten to the point you have to be vigilant and proactive at all times. Take care and continue to enjoy your great accomplishment. Best! 😊
@jorgecespino5743 Jorge, thank you did the kind words! Closer to you, you have lakeshore marine in Okeechobee. Steve is amazing and so is his staff. Check them out I promise you won’t be let down!
lol no fine china on this boat 🤣 our new setup is a 22lb delta anchor with 30ft of chain and 400 ft of 1/2” line. That area there is maybe 6-10 ft deep. 🤙
We bring a bbq, propane tanks, generator, skillet, we have a bucket with a toilet seat and kitty litter that goes with a portable changing room. Hatch Air conditioner. Cabin mattress and all the fittings. Lots of fresh water. Fishing and diving equipment. A stern anchor. That sounds like most of it!

@perfectfitboating I'm really enjoying it man. We've been catching tons of lobster this season. It's really dialed in. I cant think of much more I'd do to her at this point.
@perfectfitboating no doubt. We stay at San clemente Island, Catalina and even just drift offshore overnight. It's a really comfortable rig for sure. Cabin is nice and cozy for those super wet or cold nights. A lot of hard work pays off for sure. As you guys are now finding out! Such a good feeling.
It’s the navionics app. I think it’s a one time payment of like $50. Works AWESOME! It has all types of features like relief shading, tracking and tons more. If you have an iPad with cell service you can use it on there and it’s a huge chart plotter!🤙
Thanks so much will download it. Literally came across your channel yesterday and watched all your videos in one day. Just bought a used boat and now I have the confidence to upgrade the wiring because of you guys. Looking to check out your ebook as well. Thanks so much keep the videos coming👍
That looks like fun but not for me. I don't do well in crowds. Too much time spent in hostile cities in Iraq and Afghanistan. If you guys ever find yourselves in the Pensacola are, look me up. I'll take you out in the catamaran for some snapper!
