1:55 I never ever learned note for note versions of any song because, I noticed, that when I go see a band and then hear THEIR version of a song and loving it! So, that said, I go out of my way to produce MY version of a song. Cool, really. One of these days I am going to get those lessons you provide, I’m guessing for a modest price. Well worth it, I have no doubt. Couldn’t we just be neighbours? Work out some kind of barter? I’m not cheap…just broke. Lol 😊

You have helped me tremendously. I struggled with the thumb independence in sync. I started tapping my foot and body movements to the beat like you do when playing. When I started doing that I was able to keep the beat with my thumb thanks love the vamp too

I agree that some will expect you to know some songs as recorded. But some of those same people will praise players like Clapton, SRV, Keb Mo, and others for adding their touch and style to them.
