Johnny Lewis the actor playing the unsub in this episode actually committed murder in real life. Very eerie. His story is unfortunate.
What did he do omg 😱
@@Andy-the-crow Strangulation of an elderly woman…
Killed an old lady then he died at the house by falling of a roof or something
@@destinymonique4275 oh dear no rest in peace for that old lady
He (Johnny Lewis) had severe head trauma/injuries caused in a motorcycle accident prior. He developed drug issues & was hospitalized etc. It’s a long, complicated, tragic story (definitely worth looking into), & I’m not saying what he did was ok or trying to excuse. But he was not just a murder. He served over seas, was a musician & poet & gifted actor (I know him mainly as Half-sack/Kip from Sons of Anarchy). It’s all really very sad, & he was so young (28).
This season just rolls out banger after banger.
I think this episode was really needed for Rossi. One thing I disliked about him as a character, is how arogant he can come off from time to time. He quickly dismisses others (especially when he first joined the team) and tends to think he has all the answers. In this episode, his dismissive atitute unintentionaly coused the death of someone, it pulled him down from his high horse, something his character desperately needed to happen.
I love JJ’s little story at the end!
Such a good episode for Rossi's development. I have a love/hate relationship with his ego, so I like that it was challenged in this one.
I hate his ego.
@@ayselengin1798 ego making really human as character
“we just passed ceder park” “WELL TURN AROUND” so real
I love Zoe and how the criminal written as character, him copying others enough to make him kinda interesting because it shows he has no sense of self and he is also parallel with Zoe in a way.
I just love the bromance between Rossi and Hotcher. Like I said the best episode is yet to come. Thank you for your reactions
Amy davidson, the actress who played zoey, played kerry on 8 simple rules with kaley cuoco from big bang theory, katey sagal and the legendary john ritter Such a great show, but sadly so underrated
Woah can’t believe I didn’t notice that!
@@pdubcentral I didn't even notice it until after I started watching 8 simple rules😂😂 thats how I discovered john ritter. Then after awhile of watching it, I looked up the cast members' acting works and saw amy davidson guested starred on criminal minds and saw she played zoey and then went back and watched the episode and I noticed it then😂
That's where I know her from - I always thought she looked familiar. Thanks for the info :)
@@jeannieschmidt2217 you're welcome! Such a great but sadly underrated show with a great recognizable cast amy, john ritter, katey Sagal, kaley cuoco, David spade and James garner
Another one that really stuck with me, especially how they found the bodies.
I just looked it up. It says actor johnny lewis either fell or jumped to his death after beating his 81 yr old landlady to death... My god.
Have you ever watched the series numb3rs? It's crime mixed with math.
Whenever people talk about different crimes being "too different" it always reminds me of one of their episodes where they say. "Too different isn't random, random would repeat."
This episode is tough😢. Poor Zoe and her mom
5:23 I never realised that was Haley’s (OTH) Mum!
Such a Good Episode, Love Rossi❤
Love this new sentencing structure
I remembered this one the moment i saw the opener as the first time I saw it I knew as soon as he dismissed her that she was right and she was going to die.
6:14 - okay, I haven't watched further and I don't remember the plot, but is the guy coping famous serial killers?: prostitute like Jack the Ripper, couple in a car - that's Son of Sam (?), Doodler for gay killing
Logan: I like her passion but I don’t think she has anything
Me: just wait for it
Logan: oh hell is she going to die
Me: yup lol
Ever since I started watching your reactions for criminal minds I started thinking which episodes I was most expecting the reaction and this was one of them. Rossi guilt, the unsub way of thinking just like that episode of the mental institution guy that was a cannabis sick people.
This episode was very dark and interesting
The girlfriend i thought was guilty because she was a killer on another show, one of the best
Excellent Sentence, I agree 💯...
7:05 - yay, good guess me.
I like the sentencing thing. I would sentence this man to death as well.
Please remember to respect the rules of the channel with spoilers, talking about the next or future episodes, mentioning other characters, and the outcome of those characters. Thank you.
Another brilliant episode...
I actually found this unsub to be quite generic. A high body count alone does not make an interesting culprit. It's there background there upbringings their motive is what does. It's what I find most interesting about the show Criminal Minds. Is taking horrific murder senearios and learning what happened to the said person to cause them to go down the path of homicide. So when Criminal Minds wants to ignore that and make an unsub just raw evil. It falls a bit flat to me.
Actually him copying others enough to make him kinda interesting because it shows he has no sense of self and he is also parallel with Zoe in a way so there is something (and i dont believe raw evil or evil thing but well i get what you mean, its better when we explore their past).
I actually find it pretty refreshing. Sometimes there is no why. Sometimes people just come out wrong. Something that should be there just isnt. Its not always "mommy didnt love me enough" or some horrific trauma. Some people are just evil.
This is my favorite episode
