Show of the Weekend! Ellen delves into a blocky abyss in Luke's choose-your-adventure Minecraft Story Mode-inspired quiz, plus Castlevania on Netflix, your comments, bloops and much more. Enjoy!
Nobody comments on the amazing skill of the person who managed to place that unconscious enemy perfectly on that couch in Dishonoured? Props to that person anyway
Let's go to OXbox larping! Would you like to play as a megalomaniac queen/overlord who own an orbital death laser? a Western scholar with his amazing stealth skill and his glorious beard? or a racer with a strange affection of catastrophe and explosion?
Did they just send Andy off into the wilderness thinking it's 2009? He'll probably end up at the inside Xbox office waiting for Mass effect 2... poor Andy...
Definitely poor Andy, he'll have to learn about 2016 all over again. Let's hope they break it to him slowly, who knows what getting all that information at once will do to him!
PSA: If you buy Kingdoms of Amalur on the 360 digitally _DON'T_ download the free online pass as well. The game already has it and having both installed will make your XBox crash when you try to start a new game. If you do just go into your system storage and delete "House of Valor," that's what it's labeled as and that will fix the problem. ...I should probably put this message on the Amalur video too. P.S. Ellen was right.
I mean, acoustic refraction is a thing too. Otherwise, why would she need three different magnifying glasses? There's one for visible electromagnetic wavelengths, one for infrared and ultraviolet presumably, and one for sound.
Could we see more of these choose-your-adventure stories? I really enjoyed this one. I love what you guys are doing on this channel, keep up the good work!
I'll just say this while I'm early and have a chance before the flood of comments: More Kingdoms of amelur? Pretty please? :) I've developed an emotional attatchment to Orca And Luke, that "Fit in" pun was awful. You should be blocked from making any more tetris puns. I apologise for nothing.
Are you saying you *don't* carry children's trading cards everywhere you go?! What happens if someone challenges you to a du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-duel?
I think we should just be happy Ellen can be saved and still knows the difference between 'the magic box that sees all' and larping. Would be funny if she got arrested trying to lock pick and stealth into the studio.
11:23 Clearly Andy meant "When did they invent ceilings you could live on?", while looking "up" at the floor. Ceiling-people must have been discovered post-2009.
Did Ellen say that she was the only other person going on the larping trip? If that's the case, wouldn't that mean she's forced Luke into a week-long, Kingdoms of Amalur themed date?
24:33.James says "do it!"Immediately thinks James is emperor palpatine !DUN DUN DUN!!!!!! Also Ellen's laugh imo kinda sounds like palpatine's's laugh if it would was more high pitched
What you don't realize is that Ellen's Larping skit at the beginning of the show isn't a skit at all! She actually booked a week for her and Luke and they just happened to film it.
That was a very dangerous sentence to use and yet opens up the way for all other members of the team too... I'm waiting for Andy to find something produced by the History Channel. Like one of those games you get in primary school or secondary school that make 'education fun.'
I replayed Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn so many fricken times it would make your heads spin. Literally unlocked every bit of dialogue, unlocked every character AND gave each their own chance at reaching the endgame at the hardest difficulty (Illyana was quite easy, Meg was shit). I even unlocked the special dialogue between Ike and Sora that required you to upload a saved file from the prequel game Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. To unlock the conversation also required a host of things too. So don't tell me replaying games has less value.
Where Ellen thought Luke's adventure was going: stew it. What the comments would have said if Ellen made the wrong choice of Pokemon card: blew it. When I heard the twist, I said: knew it.
...but in the End, Piglington did save her bacon. Just shows that when you don't have all the facts, your decisions will be rasher than they need to be.
I can understand where Luke is coming from when he says it's weird to replay games; when I was a child I would replay every game I had at least a dozen times, but now that I'm an adult with a job and responsibilities, I only have time to complete a game once before I need to move on.
I love Luke's immersive stories they are always so interesting and funny regarding the situations that he creates for Ellen, I would love to see this more often
Is it just me or doesn't Ellen seem like an amazing person to be friends or in a relationship with. Very all around the place personality. It's a nice change to see these days
Ellen got to play Kingdoms of Amalur for the celebration of 300,000 subscribers. Luke should get a half hour video of ShipTalk when you get to 600,000.
So on the subject of replaying games, Resident Evil 4... I am on my 15 AND 16th playthroughs on both Xbox 360 and ps4. I...LOVE...THIS...GAME! I've been playing it over and over since high school on ps2. I'm 28 now. Priorities.
God I LOVE Ellen's dimples!!!!! They are SO cute!!! Plus her laugh is contagious which makes it even better to watch videos with her in them. brightens my day. well night since it's nearly 4 am here.
Show of the Weekend! Ellen delves into a blocky abyss in Luke's choose-your-adventure Minecraft Story Mode-inspired quiz, plus Castlevania on Netflix, your comments, bloops and much more. Enjoy!
Outside Xtra KINGDOMS OF KIPPERS!
Don't worry, Ellen, I've not yet completed Dishonored 2 either. I keep getting distracted. Right now I'm being distracted by Witcher 3... again.
Outside Xtra Great video
Outside Xtra #LetEllenContinuePlayingKOA
A Telltale version of Stardew Valley could be quite interesting.
Luke: "You should play whatever you like."
Ellen: "You should play Kingdoms of Amalur"
I like how that is the same thing these days.
You can play whatever games you want as long as one of those games is Kingdoms of Amalur.
makes perfect sense!
"You have three lives" *Ellen grinning*
..."And three magnifying glasses" *Face contorts with pure confusion*
13:58 (the timecode)
I want to know what would have happened if Ellen had eaten the pig instead of talking to him.
Mar Hawkman ha, me too
THIS IS FREAKY DEEKY!
SJN16 Is it also cheeky breeky?
In times and relative dimensions in space, no one can hear you scream "This is freaky-deeky!"
SJN16 ...like Studio54?
SJN16 I don't think she says that..ever lol
Are you ready for some *Hardbass?*
Ellen's excitement is so contagious
Nobody comments on the amazing skill of the person who managed to place that unconscious enemy perfectly on that couch in Dishonoured?
Props to that person anyway
Darth PoohBear it woz me! - Ellen ^-^

Let's go to OXbox larping! Would you like to play as a megalomaniac queen/overlord who own an orbital death laser? a Western scholar with his amazing stealth skill and his glorious beard? or a racer with a strange affection of catastrophe and explosion?
Idk about you, but I'm going as a sentient planet
Luke, before we judge Ellen for replaying Dishonored, how about we remember the time you announced that you had been playing Magikarp Jump?
Imagine you can make stuff like you would with Lego, but your friends can come over and dump lava all over your creations.
So, like Lego...
Did they just send Andy off into the wilderness thinking it's 2009? He'll probably end up at the inside Xbox office waiting for Mass effect 2... poor Andy...
On the other hand, he gets to play Mass Effect 2 again for the first time!
TheRupertLitterbin oh dear
I'll see YOU on Show Of The Weekend
Thinking it's 2009 ... and having a strange feeling that he shouldn't book a holiday in Haiti, Chile or Australia ...
The game already has it and having both installed will make your XBox crash when you try to start a new game.

...I should probably put this message on the Amalur video too.
P.S. Ellen was right.
James' deep love of the Star Wars prequels is amazing! I'm sure his Midi-chlorian count is off the chart!
IT'S OVER 9000!!!
HERETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT WORD DOES NOT EXIST!
YEAH! It's medi-chlorian!
HERETIC! BLAM!
For the republic!!!
I really like the clones from the prequels and we got that awsome animated Star Wars the clones series. So not all of it was bad.
THE TREES ARE NOT TREES - THEY ARE WOLVES IN GHILLIE SUITS
The magnifying glass lets you see that the cube emits a faint humming noise. ...
My first reaction as well: "Say that again, but slowly!"
I mean, acoustic refraction is a thing too. Otherwise, why would she need three different magnifying glasses? There's one for visible electromagnetic wavelengths, one for infrared and ultraviolet presumably, and one for sound.
Did anyone else notice how Ellen's legs have disappeared this episode! All there is is the purple sofa. TRAVESTY!
Spent the entire video not sure if Luke's shirt says PVP or PUP...
Im pretty sure its a bandshirt from PUP
MockMasterjack PUBG?
PUP. The canadian punk rock band. Highly recommended
i was making a joke though...
I was wondering where Ellen's legs are....
"Ellen's probably gone to get my atlases" Ah, Luke. Don't ever lose your optimism.
Ellen: *taking forever to pick a card*
James: * emporer Palpatine voice* "Do it!"
Me: Lmao. I loved that
Could we see more of these choose-your-adventure stories? I really enjoyed this one. I love what you guys are doing on this channel, keep up the good work!
I'll just say this while I'm early and have a chance before the flood of comments:
More Kingdoms of amelur? Pretty please? :) I've developed an emotional attatchment to Orca
And Luke, that "Fit in" pun was awful. You should be blocked from making any more tetris puns.
I apologise for nothing.
Homestuck Obsessor YAS KOA!!!
Orca! Orca! Orca!
Wiped Memory Andy enters wearing Rod Serling shirt. Cue theme music.
ELLEN'S PSYCHIC POWERS PROVED ONCE AGAIN!
I find it strange and hilarious that a fully adult man carries two Pokémon cards around with him at all times. Looking at you, Luke! :)
Are you saying you *don't* carry children's trading cards everywhere you go?!
What happens if someone challenges you to a du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-duel?
Please can you play more Kingdoms of Amalur!?
"You know we played KoA and you totally loved it"
"Well... i liked it"
How do I join the kingdoms of amalur larping fanclub?
I think we should just be happy Ellen can be saved and still knows the difference between 'the magic box that sees all' and larping.
Would be funny if she got arrested trying to lock pick and stealth into the studio.
11:23 Clearly Andy meant "When did they invent ceilings you could live on?", while looking "up" at the floor. Ceiling-people must have been discovered post-2009.
Man these stories by Luke are really great and well though out. kudos!
#letelllenplay- oh wait. right. already did that.
Miles Rappaport FREEDOM!

All Show of the Weekend episodes are fun, bubbly, happy, and just brightens my day in general
This is absolutely my favourite show. You guys are so amazing, thank you so much for doing this!
It's just so satisfying to see Ellen bursts in laughter! I don't know, it's weird, it's just always enjoyable!
Did Ellen say that she was the only other person going on the larping trip? If that's the case, wouldn't that mean she's forced Luke into a week-long, Kingdoms of Amalur themed date?
Unclouded your mind has become.
The shear amount of effort that Luke puts into these quizzes is just mesmerizing. Ellen, you have a LOT of catching up to do.
I would watch a full episode of Luke's ship talk but on the condition that Jane gets an episode of Mass Effect talk
Ellen can play whatever games she wants, MORE KOA CONFIRMED!
That was a very dangerous sentence to use and yet opens up the way for all other members of the team too...
I'm waiting for Andy to find something produced by the History Channel. Like one of those games you get in primary school or secondary school that make 'education fun.'
Well, Andy likes American History, so I'm waiting for a let's play of Oregon Trail to happen...lol.
That feeling when you are more excited for Show Of the Weekend than you are for Game Of Thrones :) Love you guys!
yay more Ellen in a cape wooo!!!!!
I wish it was socially acceptable to wear a cape in public :(
Is it not? Sounds like you need to hang out in better public spaces.
The Incredibles film put a lot of people off them.
Yeah baby, it's a capephilia party, come on in!
I think you’ll see, it’s a cloak.
You must do more kingdoms of amalur Ellen obviously loves it and it hillarous every and fun plz
(And ironically i had a fantasy LARP camp this week)
Miles Wisner its not ironic its coincidental
Genuinely leapt with happiness when the Dragonite of Making Things Right was drawn.
this is why i look forward to the weekends :D thanks guys!!
"Wolves in ghillie suits"...... I can't applaud you enough Luke at how hilariously creative that line was 😂
Where Ellen thought Luke's adventure was going: stew it.
What the comments would have said if Ellen made the wrong choice of Pokemon card: blew it.
When I heard the twist, I said: knew it.
"Ceremonial lentil soup" made my day
Ellen's Pokemon name would be Gigglycute.
I look forward to Lukes stories. I find myself drawn into each story! Awesome imagination!
"I've been playing... Dishonored"
*Relegates Andy and Luke to second and third place of Favorites On The Cast list*
Wait. Now I want to know what was growing on the ceiling. Does it eat ceilling people? Can it reproduce? So many questions.
I don't care about dealing people! I wanna know if it eats oxtra people! D:
It's one of Jane's secret monsters to aid in her world domination and picture hanging abilities.
Crimson_Rogue 97 Twas Ellen's legs!
I reckon a Telltale game about Wii Sports would be amazing
Ellen: is talking about LEGO
Me: sees an image of DUPLO
Me: "I'm not angry, just disappointed"
I have Skyrim SE and this is my 8th time through including on the Xbox 360. Thanks Fudgemuppet for the build ideas
29:20 Ellen's acting is so good you would actually think something IS on the ceiling.
Leading an unsuspecting stranger to take a "nap" before dinner is a quest in Skyrim.
I'm so glad Piglington didn't wallow in the disappointment of Ellen not being a hero for too long, she was in quite the pigcle there for a minute....
...but in the End, Piglington did save her bacon. Just shows that when you don't have all the facts, your decisions will be rasher than they need to be.
Luke's Choose Your Own Adventure segments are the absolute best!
Ellen's laugh brings peace to this world :D
I want to play a game of D&D with Luke.
ApexPenguin Ellen would be a cute gnome
This was funnier than I had expected haha
I can understand where Luke is coming from when he says it's weird to replay games; when I was a child I would replay every game I had at least a dozen times, but now that I'm an adult with a job and responsibilities, I only have time to complete a game once before I need to move on.
Kalypso Belador exactly man, it sucks.
I love Luke's immersive stories they are always so interesting and funny regarding the situations that he creates for Ellen, I would love to see this more often
Ellen might just be the most adorkable person on Earth.
I love how on the Steam page for Kingdoms of Amalur there are a bunch of people in the reviews saying Ellen is the reason they bought it. :)
please make more text adventure stories that was amazing if telltale won't you can!
#LetLukePlaySMSunshine
Watching Luke giving Ellen the quiz is like watching Goosebumps series where your actions take you to the specific pages. Interesting.
First Kippers, then Dobbin, and now Piglington. SO MANY FEELS!
19:55 every time I play d&d and the dungeon master smiles...
6:56 guard: hey dude, look I may be dead but do you wanna chill?
Agreed on all points, Ellen! I've replayed Dishonored at least 3 times... still havent' really brought myself to do a full murder run.
Ellen had her time when she played Kingdoms of Amalur. I say give Luke's Ship talk a chance. You can even call it "Talking Ship with Luke".
The only thing better than James' contribution is Luke's reaction to it.
James: "Do it." (Lost it at that part lol)
Definitely enjoy your stories Luke, its fun seeing Ellen (and myself admittedly) trying to figure out what to do
This is just making me want an OXBOX D&D session even more!
The irony of Ellen telling someone not to laugh! haha
I loved this video! You just made my whole day.Ellen's excitement was so uplifting I had a smile on my face the whole video.
Andy's Rod Serling from the twilight zone shirt is freaking awesome. i'm soooo jelly
Oh my god Ellen is so cute
She's not cute, she's freaking adorable!
It's a sure sign that her folks raised her right!
Zeen she's scary
Zeen adorable enough to go larping with for an entire week? ...who the fuck am I kidding, I'd jump at that offer...
Damn straight!
"hello, my name is pigglington cubesworth" help I can't stop laughing
Is it just me or doesn't Ellen seem like an amazing person to be friends or in a relationship with. Very all around the place personality. It's a nice change to see these days
Ellen's enthusiasm for Amalur is what I feel when a new oxtra video is up
15 seconds in and Ellen already made me smile :)
Is nobody gonna mention that *berries and mushrooms* reference? I haven't laughed that hard in weeks.
_"Fools"_
Honestly, Ellen seems like THE most fun person to work with! Keep up the great work guys!
Ellen got to play Kingdoms of Amalur for the celebration of 300,000 subscribers. Luke should get a half hour video of ShipTalk when you get to 600,000.
If I would be as excited about anything in life as Ellen is about Kingdom of Amalur, life would be incredible.
Listening to Luke try to sell Ellen on her catchphrase, "Freaky Deaky" (sp?)- smashed the like button so hard.
"like there's something on the ceiling"
missed the opportunity to sing Dancing on the Ceiling here
Oh my god, that update has to be one of the funniest things I've seen on this channel - and that's quite a high bar.
Am I the only one who thinks the idea of a LARPing weekend w/ Ellen would be the absolute best?
So on the subject of replaying games, Resident Evil 4... I am on my 15 AND 16th playthroughs on both Xbox 360 and ps4. I...LOVE...THIS...GAME! I've been playing it over and over since high school on ps2. I'm 28 now. Priorities.
Ellen wins the video for going back to Dishonored, and for saying "Freaky Deaky" in the Narrative of Wonderment.
The bloopers are amazing
God I LOVE Ellen's dimples!!!!! They are SO cute!!! Plus her laugh is contagious which makes it even better to watch videos with her in them. brightens my day. well night since it's nearly 4 am here.
Just want to say how much I like Luke's multiple choice text adventures
My first question about Minecraft: Story Mode. "Why is there a Minecraft: Story Mode?".
"Update Required"- I laughed for hours xD
