You guys know by now that delays and reverbs are my favorite things. I own many amazing pedals and I'm always looking to try new ones, but the Empress Echosystem is one that I use a lot, especially when I need to simplify my setup.
It offers many great algorithms and two delays engines that you can use in serial or parallel, giving you many great possibilities. From simple tape echoes to complex ambient modulations, this is one of the most powerful tool to shape your sound!

@Jesse Plays Music : You're so right! It deserves a lot more press. This is totally the pedal that never fails to get people to say "WTF is that"! Especially the VMSD. Then... I Run Them together Both in the reverse octave setting. I should do a video on that. Vintage Modified Super Delay + Echo System. I'll return here to let you guys know.

I'll be using the empress with an obx8. The voices pan across the stereo field. What output mode would be the best for this?
Can this unit be feed back onto itself on an analogue mixing desk whilst using the feedback on the unit and setting it to 100% wet?

Do you think an EchoSystem or a NightSky would better compliment a ZOIA?
hard to say. Probably a Nightsky since with Zoia you have similar algorithm if ecosystem

@@OoraMusic Aaah..that was suspicion as I later saw two output cables, so was confused....do you still have the original stereo audiofile? Your demo is so great, that´s why I´m asking...
Echosystem is a legit secret weapon. I just wish each engine could be fed by a separate input.
That's what left/right mode does, though you lose the ability to do stereo delay for each.

And that's the biggest problem of this pedal: No multi-head mode for the Space Echo model. They can do it with the Echorec, for some reason... I don't understand. That's the whole point of the Space Echo.
Bonus - you can swap the firmware from the reverb unit to thid and visw versa!! Just rename the firmware update file to suit what the unit takes

Spettacolare! The Deluge is the one piece of gear we both have ;) . I pair it with my iPad. Perfect together.

The Deluge firmware has severely outgrown the hardware with 3 button combos... Holding off in hope of a new hardware design...
agreed. at this point it has too many things and you need to use it constantly to remember. Amazing machine and community, hope in a new version too.
