I said it before but will repeat myself again - there is something special and unique about your sounds, I 'receive' your frequencies immediately, there may be various reviews and videos but whenever I watch yours they just speak directly to my soul! Amazing pedal, right next to 'Microcosm' for sure! I was a bit late with pre-ordering and they are sold out at the moment but definitely not missing the next batch, thank you for another great video!
I've been mulling over getting an external pedal for my modular system. I (like many people) had thought about the Microcosm, however, when I see the Meris LVX it looks very tempting (although a little more price wise). I guess it would be impossible to really compare, however as you say, the LVX looks like a programmable Microcosm. One thing that made me laugh is that you have to unplug the pedal to clear the sounds. You'd have thought that Meris would have put an on/off switch, for such a sophisticated pedal 🤔.
I ordered one of these but I can't find a Ring Modulator demo because the CS80 had the Ring Modulator. It's classic 70s but still can't find a demo of it using this pedal.
Mine is new and it started randomly slipping on the delay parameter or setting meaning moving up and down causing unstable sound interruption. After it warms up it gets worse and seems to be normal when turned on. It works great on synths probably better than guitars. I need to return this one which is defective.
While they might overlap, the use would be different. If you need a delay , the LVX is a better choice. If you need a texture generator they are both interesting, with microcosm more on the random happy accidents side. Would be hard to choose, honestly.
Thanks fort the answer. Those happy accident my main concerns about Microcosm. It's too unpredictable. am looking for something where you can build up your own glitchy sound. I know that Zoia and some out there but I wanted to know if LVX has the capability to create its own sound that matches Microcosm.
Some quick questions: 1) can you make self oscillations sounds like on the dl4 for example? 2) if for some reason you want, can you create simple classic delay lines? 3) with all these freedom is there something that you cannot do?
@@OoraMusic a good example on point one would be the outro for karma police by radiohead. where the delay self oscilates and keeps going forever till you get that crazy sound. The only that that i would love to see would be some extra ports so i can hook a reverb ad the end of the chain and be able to use the looper with it. Still killer pedal though
I love my Meris pedals. I wonder if the wet knob on this has the same characteristic where it’s 100% wet fro the last 20% of the turn? That was a design choice that I never quite agreed with as I like to twist dials. Thanks for there great video. This will be a super pedal. Like an easy to use Zoia.
@@OoraMusic haven't tried Cosmos yet but ordered anyway and it's arriving next week, super excited just like about any gear by SOMA Labs, LVX looks and sounds amazing as well and I'm also a fan of Meris' pedals so yeah, another one to add to the collection in near future, thank you for the great video as usual, best regards!
Fun stuff Federico! Just added this to our official LVX playlist.
Thanks guys!
I’ve bought several pieces of gear now because of you, Oora, and here’s another one!! 💙
@Jambient Noys 🖤🖤
@@colinbrash sorry colin 🤣
I've been hyping it to friends but having delay in the title they're not believing me when sayin you can apply preamp synths etc to dry
Just picked up an LVX. This is very helpful mate cheers!

thanks for your kind words!!! hopefully next batch will be ready soon!
I really appreciate the extra camera on the screen of the LVX itself. Loved the video!
Glad you liked it!
Heck yeah Brother. I've really been thinking hard on this one. Thanks for the Demo Big Man
Glad you liked it!!

Great demo. Excited to hear more. Ready for mine to come in the mail. Whenever that will be! Cheers!
its a great pedal!!
Dammit! And I just bought the Polymoon, too (and I love it).
The Polymoon is wonderful and worth every penny. I own that and the Mercury 7. The M7 is droolworthy.
Sick video as always
Glad you enjoyed!

sorry to hear that!
I would love to see the Mood, Blooper, Habit video similar to the previous one you made but with this Meris unit after!
Great idea!
Yes, that’s a great idea. I think I will try that. Also, I’m gonna added hey, I love your videos. You’re always gives me great ideas thank you.
the sound seems to be in mono, which seems to be a mistake as you keep referring to how things sound in stereo (and the pedal is stereo, obviously).
It‘s actually fully stereo path, not like the Strymon stuff..
Great upload!
should I sell both my shallow waters to buy this?
Ah, not sure, I love shallow!
sempre top! e vs lo zen delay?
avercelo!! :D
Sweet! Just imagine these effects +reverbs and noise in a portable desktop sampler with a few tracks..
dream!
If you have to pick one pedal, which one would you choose. This or microcosm?

not sure on point 1.
you can do super simple delay, that really takes a second.
the only thing i wish they add? maybe some sort of reverb!

all video in mono?
mmm not sure why
hi Oora! definitely the best of 2022: do yo ustill think this is the best delay in 2024?
Is the one I use most still!

have to check on that. and yes zoia falls in the range, with different possibilities
I love Meris. My ventris just sounds amazing. This video was just what I was waiting for. Think I’ll be adding this baby to my collection.
Ventris is Source Audio 🤫
@@patrickr6505 doh! Yes you’re right. Meris - Ventris - my brain got befuddled there! 😂
@@lit3work It's ok!!Source Audio are cool too..I have the C4 synth.. Ambient Bass player here lol....
The habit now doesn't seem that exciting any more, even though it is a different thing. heehe. Great video as always.
Thanks! 😃
The Soma Cosmos is the most magical delay, time based effects..
I actually tried at super booth and loved it! but was released pre 2022 :)
want one for sure!

Great demo, I can only afford 1 so now I have a tougher decision between meris and soma.
@@jupitor919 totally different beasts
such a big fan of the cosmos! meris rocks my world though love their pedals.
I’m just gonna sell about 30% of my effects and purchase this!
:D
Major GAS alert
:)
It better is the best delay pedal of 2022 for this price
In 2022 everything should have screen.
This is revolutionary..this will be duplicated by lots of pedal companies now...

No dip switches :🙄
I don't think you really need them no?
