Load is easily Metallica top3 album With 1. RTL 2. MoP/AJFA 3. Load I really appreciate that they don't close in trash only and record the same album for 40 years Because it is impossible to record something better than MoP or RTL in my opinion They finished trash metal like a game I think it's funny when somebody says Metallica is over or sold and it's pain for somebody that they are global stars It's easy James is a riff machine and has great vocal. It can be full of power and rage but on the other hand it has some melodiousness in it even when he shouts. It's not only growl for growl like many other vocalists Load is real artistic courage and music full of emotions It didn't get the appreciation it disserves I am really sad for James because I think that deeply inside he wants and enjoys playing music like Load even if he doesn't like the bands image connected with that era of Metallica Hope to hear something like Overload one day Or at least Load-only show Second album which I appreciate more than a lot of fans is Death Magnetic. For me it's just an AJFA Part 2 packed with outstanding riffs and energy but killed with bad production Songs like All Nightmare Long are easily trash monsters and one of the best songs in Metallica discography Remixed and remastered or even re-recorded Death Magnetic (becouse I think guitar tone could be better on that album) would be great idea!

I am _this close_ to learning how to edit just to make a top of my own to state my opinion as well, because Hardwired at 10, I think, is outrageous. Dream No More 5.8/10 and Atlas 6.1? That ticks me off a fair bit because Atlas is one of the first Metallica songs I heard and Dream No More I discovered recently and thanks to it I rediscovered Hardwired. More of a nostalgic thing than an objective musical superiority thing tbh, but live and let live, yk? That being said, I'm _somewhat_ satisfied with the ratings the rest of my faves off Hardwired were given, like Moth, the title track, and Halo. And yeah. Spit Out the Bone is a modern thrash masterpiece and it deserves every single point out of that 10/10.

I don't see what's so special about For Whom The Bell Tolls aside from the intro and outro. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good song but just pretty weak compared to the rest.
My personal list :D 1) Ride the lightning - this is my alltime favorite album ever, not just Metallica but music in general C: 2) Master of Puppets - my first favorite when I got into the band ! 3) Kill Em All - I really like this album ^.^ Honestly I wouldve put it above MOP but I like the MOP songs more and have more favorites from that album 4) And Justice for All - great album, I love the songs on it but it's not a HUGE favorite you know ?? 5) Load - Same with Justice, I love certain songs but i'm not big on it. Still great :D Its not something I would often listen to but it's an underrated gem :P 6) Metallica - I like certain songs on this one a lot aswell ! I don't have much to say on it but it's great ^.^ 7) Reload - Pretty nice ! I am not too big on this album but I often listen to certain songs on it, especially Low Mans Lyric (an underrated masterpiece btw) 8) St Anger - This album being so high is because it's a guilty pleasure XD I like certain songs on it and I really can't get myself to hate on it . Though it could definitely have it's improvements :-) 9) 72 Seasons - I don't really care that much about this album however it's pretty good for modern day metallica :P 10) Hardwired - Never been too fond of this album however it's not bad at all ! I never really cared about it 11) Death Magnetic - This album isn't bad in the slightest, it just doesn't interest me in the slightest >_> However music is subjective and you can like whatever you want !
1) Ride The Lightning (1984) 2) Kill ‘Em All (1983) 3) Master of Puppets (1986) 4) …And Justice For All (1988) 5) 72 Seasons (2023) I am NOT a fan of the other albums, especially St. Anger (2003)!
Outside of maybe a production standpoint, there's no way 72 Seasons is stronger than Hardwired. Load is also Stronger than Hardwired and 72 Seasons. Poor twisted me getting a zero while S&D from Death Magnetic is ranking 9.5 is the most egregious thing in this entire video though. S&D is a 5/10 on a good day, Ronnie is a solid 7/10
I personally think the 72 seasons album sucks. It is completely soulless. The songs are overly generic and not original. Some of the songs on there are not actually bad and good while others are just completely the opposite. Like a lot of the album feels uninspired and just bland.
1. Ride the Lightening 2. Master of Puppets 3. Kill ‘‘em all 4. And justice for all 5. Hardwired 6. 72 Seasons 7. Death Magnetic 8. Black Album 9. Re Load 10. load 11. St Anger
No, there is good and bad, I saw Met on Ride the lightening with AS, that was great….it’s no one’s fault to have bad albums/songs, your forced by record companies to come up with material where as Kill’em, Lightening and puppets was easy, was their first albums, their heads were filled with material. I’m probably not a good fan, because I think after puppets it went downhill.
Your right. But from a old man’s point of view who followed them from the beginning (IMO) the black album was the “sell out” or “mainstream” album. That was the album that got them noticed/airplay by radio stations. Bob Rock made them financially successful from this album but at the same time opened them up to mainstream music. It was inevitable. You can’t keep making kill’em and lightening forever, hell, I would have probably done the same. I heard yesterday that James is worth $300 millions. Apparently smarter man than me.
Globally aligned with your ranking, but when it comes to the top 3 it becomes highly passionate & debatable obviously ! Difficult not to place Master of puppets as the #1 - to me it has and will always be the so much representative core sound of Metallica. Also one thing questionable with your ranking proposal : if I follow your logic you place Poor twisted me as worst Metallica’ song (which is far from being a bad song - it just highlights the deep Blues influences of the band) and Trapped under ice as the best Metallica’s song ever , which.. well would not have been my choice definitely :) Cool exercice anyway thanks for sharing !
Trapped under ice is their 2nd best imo, my favorite is Disposable Heroes but i get the confusion. In regards to Poor Twisted Me, i don't mind the blues influence, i really like Bleeding me and some others. I freakin abhor what they did James' vocal, and bear in mind that they weren't that good to begin with. The riffs in this song are pretty bland but still fine and tolerable but that vocal effect destroys everything imo
Still don't get why ppl rate inamorata so high. Its a long somg ehere they only sing a chorus that's so boring. That is not a 10/10 song. Iron maiden does way better if u like long songs
@@vinceyrankings don't know immorata is a strong song. If a omg song is made it needs to have more lyrics just a chorus repeating over and over and over . Like outlaw torn is better
RTL is the best record imo and every song in there is as good as this band can be. In regards to Harvester, it's not bad but average, thus pretty overrated imo. It gets too much undeserved credit and attention. It's boring and has a bad chorus, that song always puts me to sleep, never got into it. Sorry, it's just my taste😇
(From worst to best, btw I've never listened to S & M so they aren't on here) Lulu!!!!! 0/10 it's terrible ReLoad 3/10 Garage Inc. 3/10 Load 5/10 St. Anger 5/10 Hardwired 5/10 72 Seasons 6/10 Metallica 6/10 Death Magnetic 7/10 Kill 'Em All 7/10 Master of Puppets 8/10 Beyond Magnetic 8/10 ...And Justice for All 10/10 Ride the Lightning 10/10
I think you kind of agreed with me putting DM as their best album from this century and St. anger being last lol but yeah, I see why you disagree. It's bcs of the black album being above justice and mop
@@vinceyrankings Then why is it below, every song off that album is the same quality, you can put disposable, battery, welcome home, damage inc, all on the same level, and that level is the highest
I don't think they had a good album after Load. I'm a fan since 1984. #1 Master of Puppets #2 And Justice For all #3 Black album #4 Load #5 Ride The Lightning #6 Kill em all #7 Garage Days E.P........then a bunch of bullshit.
After letting Dave go (best thing that ever happened to him) and sadly losing Cliff, master was the last good album. After they ran out of Dave and Cliff ideas...that's a fact! Justice was ok, but not great. 🤷 After, they just sold out...
Good point there! Dave and Cliff's songs are really good. Fade to Black, Fight fire, Damage inc, Ktulu, ride the lightning, metal militia, to live is to die. Jason's songs are awesome imo. But after losing those 3, the band has lost a lot of inspiration and Death Magnetic was the last good album. The only reason i put 72S over Load is bcs of the maths. The 1st half of Load is mostly bad but the 2nd half is really good. I think this band has kind of wasted Rob in this last 20 years for some reason. Kirk has ran out of ideas as well, just look at manunkind or if darkness had a son..
@@vinceyrankings I respect that. Can't give my opinion on anything after justice, for I gave up on the band. To be honest, after Dave was let go my loyalty went with him. James is a riff machine and has great vocal. It can be full of power and rage but on the other hand it has some melodiousness in it even when he shouts. It's not only growl for growl like many other vocalists
Load is real artistic courage and music full of emotions
It didn't get the appreciation it disserves
I am really sad for James because I think that deeply inside he wants and enjoys playing music like Load even if he doesn't like the bands image connected with that era of Metallica
Hope to hear something like Overload one day
Or at least Load-only show
Second album which I appreciate more than a lot of fans is Death Magnetic. For me it's just an AJFA Part 2 packed with outstanding riffs and energy but killed with bad production
Songs like All Nightmare Long are easily trash monsters and one of the best songs in Metallica discography
Remixed and remastered or even re-recorded Death Magnetic (becouse I think guitar tone could be better on that album) would be great idea!
The Judas Kiss as worst song from Death Magnetic???!!
Why not garage inc.? Because of the covers aspect of it ?
I mean, they're covers, not songs of theirs
master of puppets no pude estar fuera de un top 2 pero aun asi me gusto el puntaje de las canciones y los albumes.
Entiendo, para mi el black album y mop son igual de buenos.
11. St. Anger
10. ReLoad

7. 72 Seasons
6. Kill 'Em All

2. Master of Puppetsa
1. And Justice For All
I am _this close_ to learning how to edit just to make a top of my own to state my opinion as well, because Hardwired at 10, I think, is outrageous.
And yeah. Spit Out the Bone is a modern thrash masterpiece and it deserves every single point out of that 10/10.

no way u put kea on 11
the sound of the drums is so mundane... hasnt changed since the black till now.
Why aren’t for whom the bell tolls and fade to black tens
I could also ask myself why Across The Spiderverse isn't 10/10 on IMDB
The memory remains would be at the top for load in my opinion if james didn't do that stupid vocal thing when he sings the word remains
Good point
st anger underrated
please, listen again, after, post the video. ty
btw, trapped under ice really 10/10.
I always listen a song 5 time at least but I didn't like it
Escape and trapped under ice better than ride the lightning and for whom the bell tolls? Really?
I don't see what's so special about For Whom The Bell Tolls aside from the intro and outro. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good song but just pretty weak compared to the rest.
i honestly don't even feel like arguing about how you're wrong not for the album choice but instead for the song choice
Bro wrote "Mama Said 5,8/10". Its a crime.
Master of Puppets is far better than Ride the Lightning ⚡🌩️ in my opinion.
Hardwired... imo is kinda repetitive.
My personal list :D
1) Ride the lightning - this is my alltime favorite album ever, not just Metallica but music in general C:
2) Master of Puppets - my first favorite when I got into the band !
3) Kill Em All - I really like this album ^.^ Honestly I wouldve put it above MOP but I like the MOP songs more and have more favorites from that album
4) And Justice for All - great album, I love the songs on it but it's not a HUGE favorite you know ??
5) Load - Same with Justice, I love certain songs but i'm not big on it. Still great :D Its not something I would often listen to but it's an underrated gem :P
6) Metallica - I like certain songs on this one a lot aswell ! I don't have much to say on it but it's great ^.^
7) Reload - Pretty nice ! I am not too big on this album but I often listen to certain songs on it, especially Low Mans Lyric (an underrated masterpiece btw)
8) St Anger - This album being so high is because it's a guilty pleasure XD I like certain songs on it and I really can't get myself to hate on it . Though it could definitely have it's improvements :-)
9) 72 Seasons - I don't really care that much about this album however it's pretty good for modern day metallica :P
10) Hardwired - Never been too fond of this album however it's not bad at all ! I never really cared about it
11) Death Magnetic - This album isn't bad in the slightest, it just doesn't interest me in the slightest >_> However music is subjective and you can like whatever you want !
Damn, poor death magnetic, even behind st anger, 72 and hardwired 😭
@@gabrielzanoni3474 Im so sorry I just could never get into that album 😭😭
harvester of sorrow and to live is to die shouldn't be that low
1) Ride The Lightning (1984)
2) Kill ‘Em All (1983)
3) Master of Puppets (1986)
4) …And Justice For All (1988)
5) 72 Seasons (2023)
I am NOT a fan of the other albums, especially St.
Hardwired is far better than load/reload and death magnetic
I've got WAY MORE into To Live is To Die. Now I'd give it a 9/10
I still find Harvester boring tho
I personally think the 72 seasons album sucks. It is completely soulless. The songs are overly generic and not original. Some of the songs on there are not actually bad and good while others are just completely the opposite. Like a lot of the album feels uninspired and just bland.
1. Escape
😑
Lil bro calm down its just an opinion
Dude, I respect your opinion, but Trapped Under Ice is never the best song in RTL, and I like escape, but that's not all people say
HARVESTER OF SORROW IS NOT A 5.8 OUT OF TEN! It’s more like a 7.2. Why does it get so much hate
Controversial song right?😏🤔
hi
1. Ride the Lightening
2. Master of Puppets
3. Kill ‘‘em all
4. And justice for all
5. Hardwired
6. 72 Seasons
7. Death Magnetic
8. Black Album
9. Re Load
10. load
Imo it went downhill after the black album. Half is of Load is really mediocre and you have that after the awesome and astonishing black album
Apparently smarter man than me.
wat da hell st anger is better than load/reload imho
I respect your opinion
St. anger underrated af it's not bad it's just creative, and master of puppets is overrated
S C R E A M I N G S O O S Z I D E
It's just my taste, i think Inamorata, Lux Æterna, Room of Mirros and Too far gone are the strongest songs on the album
@@vinceyrankings don't know immorata is a strong song. If a omg song is made it needs to have more lyrics just a chorus repeating over and over and over . Like outlaw torn is better
Load albums ranking higher than Hardwired, Wow, Black album ranking above Master, Wow🤣
omg MAN WTF???? i just wanna talk. ESCAPE BETTER THAN CREEPING DEATH AND FADE TO BLACK??? HARVESTER OF SORROW THE WORST SONG ON JUSTICE???
RTL is the best record imo and every song in there is as good as this band can be.
In regards to Harvester, it's not bad but average, thus pretty overrated imo. It gets too much undeserved credit and attention. It's boring and has a bad chorus, that song always puts me to sleep, never got into it.
Sorry, it's just my taste😇
(From worst to best, btw I've never listened to S & M so they aren't on here)
Lulu!!!!! 0/10 it's terrible
ReLoad 3/10
Garage Inc. 3/10
Load 5/10
St. Anger 5/10
Hardwired 5/10
72 Seasons 6/10
Metallica 6/10
Death Magnetic 7/10
Kill 'Em All 7/10
Master of Puppets 8/10
Beyond Magnetic 8/10
...And Justice for All 10/10
Ride the Lightning 10/10
at least mop isn't #1
No way Reload is better than St.anger…. And justice is the best album.
Politely disagree:
St Anger
Load
Reload
72 seasons
Hardwire
Death magnetic
Metallica
Kill ‘em all
… and Justice
Ride the Lightning
Master of puppets
I think you kind of agreed with me putting DM as their best album from this century and St. anger being last lol but yeah, I see why you disagree. It's bcs of the black album being above justice and mop
SOOOSIDE
Soos goes to Sunnyside
The black album better than master of puppets??? 😂😂😂
I'll only say it once. They're tied with each other but sometimes i rather listen to black album stuff
Purify is their worst song. The intro is good but it's the chorus that ruins the whole song
It's actually really funny... i always want to answer "no, i won't help you" to the chorus😂😂😂😂😂
@themetalknight2005 Totally agree. That intro is the reason I give it a 0/10 and not a -1/10.
Cant agree with anyone who thinks the black album is this good, thrashers know this list ain’t it 😅
Disposable Heroes is my favorite Metallica song...
@@vinceyrankings Then why is it below, every song off that album is the same quality, you can put disposable, battery, welcome home, damage inc, all on the same level, and that level is the highest
@@trapyy1861 MOP and the black album are literally tied with each other, just didn't know how to express that.
como que and jusice for all mejor que kill em all
I don't think they had a good album after Load. I'm a fan since 1984. #1 Master of Puppets #2 And Justice For all #3 Black album #4 Load #5 Ride The Lightning #6 Kill em all #7 Garage Days E.P........then a bunch of bullshit.
Really "St Anger" the name is awful really. And the cover artwork from Load and Reload horrible to !
Finally, someone giving the Black Album the credit it deserves.
You ranked the songs on Ride the Lightning and put Escape at #2. GTFO.
Jason is amazing, but look how dirty they did him on justice. Where's the bass?! Sure, metallica has always been bigger than Megadeth. For all the wrong reasons. But only one kept it true THRASH METAL. metallihoes went emo for crying out loud...🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@vinceyrankings Listen my man. I'm 50 and still a metal head. I just find it absurd that this little band is still relevant to the cause...🤷
@@kenshin73himura70 Ohhh. Alright then... I get it, listen to Become The Knight's reaction to If Darkness, he explains very well what's their problem
W for motor breath and trapped under ice but these are some ass hot takes bro
WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE JUMP IN THE FIRE SO MUCH
