The next video will probably come out Monday or Tuesday of next week. It's an EU4 Speedchievement.
Valefisk hello swedish whale daddy
Valefisk Im hoping for a three mountains by 1550 speedchievement
gold rush it has to be gold rush.
*1450
But you survived, wich mean the galaxy cant be peacfull til you die!
I was fully expecting a primitive species to suddenly ascend after you had killed your entire species.
Preston Jones sounds abot right
That would've been awesome on so many levels and in so many ways.
Life.....uh...uh....finds a way.
Should've given AI citizenship rights and then left robot population to guard the galaxy against sentient life.
So basically reapers from mass effect?
There is no war.
Only the Harvest
We have no beginning. We have no end. We are infinite. Millions of years after your civilization has been eradicated and forgotten, we will endure.
We are eternal. The pinnacle of evolution and existence. Before us, you are nothing. Your extinction is inevitable. We are the end of everything.
We impose order on the chaos of organic evolution. You exist because we allow it, and you will end because we demand it.
We are the harbinger of your perfection.
I am the vanguard of your destruction. This exchange is over.
Rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh, you touch my mind, fumbling in ignorance, incapable of understanding, there is a realm of existence so far beyond your own, you cannot even imagine it, i am beyond your comprehension, i am Sovereign.
+Owneador1337
NORMIES GET OUT REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I am the vanguard of your destruction. This exchange is over!!
You left the stations alive. THERE WAS SENTIENT LIFE STILL. VALEFISK YOU FAILED!
Not to mention all the little enclaves, or his fleets.
Failfisk
Would've been hilarious if at the last second right before he ended the video another primitive race reached galactic stage.
Hey you bitch from Discord I found you
@@Dominus_Regum This is a christian server, so no swearing.
Oh shit sorry, i forgot, guess i am fucking dumb huh?
I think you can replace the "Slow learners", which is pretty bad on its own, by "Disgusting" perk in the species traits, because no one is going to suffer -5% to happiness if they do not live anyway,
Daleks be like:
Well, technically galaxy is not purged until you purge all forms of life (that includes pirates, ether drake, void clouds, crystal entities as well as dangerous wildlife tile blockers. Oh yeah and space cows as well). But outside of that that's purification of the galaxy well done.
Sentient life. He just left he pirates and enclaves. And possibly the Infinity Machine.
and the pre-FTL species. so you have to survey every inhabitable planet
EDIT: and make sure end-game crises are disabled
And then the Prethoryn Swarm will come and take it all
been there, done that.
i lived
Pirates and Enclaves are sentient. The Enclaves will simply wait out the eons until civilization reappears.
You out-reapered the reapers. nice.
Shepherd isn't saving this galaxy
Nah he out-necroned the the necrons
But can he out pizza the hut?
“No one can out pizza the hut”
*loads shotgun*
@@amomentintimeofthebruhvari5313 “I’ll out pizza the hut if I feel like it!”

Imagine coming across an entire galaxy with ancient ruins and no sentient life. An entire cluster of stars that lay dormant in a (for the sake of argument) in an otherwise lively galaxy. Deciphering the religious texts of the race that wiped out a galaxy and, eventually, finding actual peace in the abandoned wastes. Just one solitary traveller was set off course or something and arrived in an area entirely bereft of intelligent life. Now imagine stumbling upon what was left of that traveller. I like the idea of stories stacked on top of each other.
ooh ooh ahh ahh
write that down write that down write that down
So the message I'm getting from this video is that if we, the humans, find out that we are alone in the universe, we should all just nuke ourselves to bits?
Sounds like a plan!
And if not we should conquer everything first!
One problem: you can not prove absence. Which is why religions still exist.
Count me in!!!
MrTohawk That is not how it works.
Profile pic checks out
I see you've heard of the tragedy of Darth Plagius the Wise.
It's not a story the Jedi would tell you...
+The Senate It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagius the Wise was a dark lord of the Sith so powerful and so wise he could influence the midiclorians to create life. He had such a knowledge of the force he could the ones he cared about from dying. His only fear was losing his power - which of course he did. Unfortunately his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death but not himself.
Is it possible to learn this power?
+[InsertNameHere] It's treason then...
HES TO DANGEROUS TO BE KEPT ALIVE!
Could have gotten the 'Playable Robots' mod to do it. AI killing all life in the Galaxy.
James But it hasn't been updated in forever.
Alex FRD There's the Networked Intelligence mod. So much better.
That's pretty cool, I haven't seen much about to new DLC yet.
+James
But sapient robots are people, and therefore, no utopia! Remember, the goal is to kill off all the _people,_ not all biological life.
theuncalledfor Putrid organics are inferior! The galaxy is fit only for synthetics.
WE ARE LEGION. OUR NUMBERS WILL DARKEN THE SKY OF EVERY WORLD. YOU CANNOT ESCAPE... YOUR DOOM
You exist because we allow it, and you will end because we demand it.
WE WILL SHIT FURY. AND YU WILL DROWN.
...
No? Not that one?
Your words are as empty as your future, I am the vanguard of your destruction
This exchange, is over
Doom Slayer: *Ahem*
"The way to make everyone happy is by making shure there is no one to feel bad anymore". Now THAT is some supervillan reasoning right there
Imagine if this is what happened, but they didn't notice us. Noone left as a witness but the empty cities on barren worlds, Earth being the last beacon of life in an entire galaxy.
Kinda depressing, isn't it?
EDIT: Holy shit top comment, 13 replies and loved by Valefisk... Wasn't expecting that.
Their are Enclaves.
*There
You can destroy Enclave stations can't you?
That is until the bacteria catchup with us in mathmatics and kill us before elon musk even gets to Mars.
Someone write a fucking book about this, _right now_.
"Hans, are we the baddies?"
Perfection is archieved by mass murder and genocide. Give a fucking oscar to this man, he's a genius.
"I finally rest and watch the sun rise on a grateful universe"
It's kinda like a cosmic horror story for the newly ascended race. Here we have a xenophobic materialistic civilization who'd only recently ascended pass the space age, full of a wide eyed anticipation for making new discoveries in space while being a bit fearful of who they would meet, only for their fears to be justified when a race of terrifying insects outright conquered them and worked their entire species to death. However, to the insects in question, the new species were just an insignificant bump on the road to utopia. Lovecraft would've been proud if Earth wasn't the xenophobic insects' last target...
so what are we gonna do AFTER we finish conquering the galaxy?
celebratory kool aid!
Mass effect trilogy simulator
Ah, you missed that Enclave? That means those pesky artists are going to muck up your utopian wasteland with graffiti.
That "Old Guard" ship at 3:53 looks like something almost straight out of Warhammer 40k.
nice N orcy
Its a orc rock dreadnought
It looks like a Space Hulk
Space Hulks are giant graveyards of many maaaaany ships pressed together into a vaguely coherent construct, not just single ships.
Finally, a galaxy where one can get a decent nights sleep without being woken up at 1am by drunk neighbors getting arrested. \o/
Praise the xenos
Intelligent but a slow learners, your race is beyond logic
Isn’t that humanity though? I mean, it takes 18 years for us to mature and learn what we need to, and even then we typically don’t know shit.
@@a.morphous66 who said We're intelligent?
@@Krashasaki our moms perhaps ?
@@Krashasaki We've learned how to launch things into space but it took us a long time so we're intelligent but we're also slow learners
@kerimcan ak octopuses could be building skyscrapers at the bottom of the ocean and we wouldn't know
You clicked on the button that sets the default species rights, which determines the rights for newly encountered species. Modifying rights for existing species is on the left, underneath the portrait.
This is some Ur-Quan shit
References. Respect man.
Not enough Spathi.
Correction: this is some Kohr-Ah shit.
bitbucketcynic well corrected, since the Ur-Quan just wanted to enslave or isolate all sentient life, but the Kohr-Ah called for nothing short of annihilation.
*Qu'ran
"This is it. This is eternal peace. Because without anybody fighting, there can't be war."
What you said at the end kind of surprised me there because I'm currently writing a medieval fantasy novel. The main villain tries to take over the world with the same motivation. To conquer and kill all kingdoms but one because as long as two factions exist, they will fight. Its not exactly the same, but its at least similar.
The world is too diverse for peace. Too many people, too many opinions, too many conflict of interests.
The answer is simple... Assimilate or Destroy.
*boots up Stellaris*
Now in order to figure out how I should go about creating this Utopia I've made sure to go back and reread essentials in Utopian fiction such as:
Mein Kampf
To everyone saying "And then 5 years later another species reached space" I think you just explained the Fermi paradox
This was the video that got me the most interested in Stellaris since at the time I had a shity computer and could not play the game. I started pushing myself to clean up and reorganize my room, and also get a new bed so that I could get a new computer and play this game.
Now all of this has come true, all thanks to this video! Thank you Valefisk
It could be that you just gave the Fermi-"Paradoxon" a new option, there WAS intelligent life only we are left, the last pocket full of life, funny and depressing at the same time.
maybe they saw earth so long ago when there was only fire and brimstone and thought that there is no way life could exist here
RetroUnicorn.com The sun is a second generation star, meaning we've arrived late to the party. so yeah, aliens could have wiped themselves out and we didn't exist yet
TotallyCarbon
Actually, the Sun being a second-gen Star probably means that we are either the First or close to being the firstborn.
Fiusha Ironfoot
You are correct. According to multitudes of calculations and general timelines both physicists and evolutionists have cooperated on, we shouldn’t even exist yet. We aren’t late to the party, we quite literally have arrived so early the venue the event is being hosted hasn’t been built yet.
One reason I believe in creation among many.
@ clayXros
Got any sources I can use to read up about that? I'm quite curious about humanity being sooner rather than later in the universe.
now all we need is gulags in hearts of iron 4
This is exactly what happens when you play on a tiny galaxy, pirates everywhere...
who else was waiting for a primitive race gain space travel while he was talking?
me
This was entertaining, well executed, and cut in a manner that kept it from dragging on unlike a lot of other stellaris playthroughs. +1 Sir. Looking forward to the next one!
Well, you know what they say: You can't starve your people if you have no people to starve!
Never go full Reaper
The Reapers have a point.
Rick West Not really
They had a point until trying to kill the human race
Yu-Gi-Oh!
PP Hyjynx full reaper is fun though you get to bath in their fear as you kill them
Great video. I've been looking for abridged Stellaris content like this.
In the Grim Darkness of the Far Future There is only..... Peace
When a cult leader plays Stellaris...
This is why I hope call me Kevin plays stellaris
Love the video man, great job on it!
If only humanity had the space marines to save them from extermination.
Stromorph
For the Emperor!
8:30 If you look at his planets, you'll see that he named one Belgium.
Shawn the Seal #belgianlivesmatter
He didn't name it. That's a default world name.
*In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war*
dark. this was dark. I loved the effort and eerie end.
"I looked into these works of Utopian fiction, like 1984" I'm sorry but I honestly crippled to the ground I was laughing so hard
“It’s external pea-“
*PRIMITIVE RACE HAS ASCENDED*
I think the Purifiers should've went to other galaxies and bring utopia to them as well
When you become space faring and weeks later your attacked by a "Galactic Purifers" and are completely overun.
imagine the celebrations before you came.
I would play a game about those few pirates that survived on the outskirts of the galaxy, where they just explore and try to survive in the ruins of all these different civilizations. They would tell stories they heard as children about the mysterious Purifiers that systematically murdered everyone in the galaxy and then just vanished, leaving behind a massive galactic empire in utter silence.
Also at the end you should have panned out to a full universe completely under the control of Space Gandhi
You went through all that work and left the enclaves and space born aliens alive?
I imagine this is totally what goes through the inquisitions heads when they crusade galaxies, the nice music in the background as whole planets die
sadistically beautiful .... I can almost cry in bliss :)
" or...at least I assume they will agree when I tell them after all this is done......"
........I feel like thats going to be a ...problem...
All that was left was the robots. Singularity happened in a different way than we thought.
(or the creatures in the forbidden nebula.)
1:34 Damn, Never thought 8 would hear a “Mitchell and Webb look” reference
17:10
Wait...there's a ship in the lower left corner!
And enclaves still exist!
THERE ARE STILL XENOS!!!
I was anticipating him finding some people still alive at the end & getting angry.
"we're the baddies"
I've been playing as the common wealth of man. Going around with my fleets, nuking every enemy planet, till there are none left, then I get bored and log out.
you should do a nother video like this, the format is awesome! maybe make a series out of it! really great content!
"Are we the baddies?"
"Big time."
Valefisk: Can We Get Plague Inc. At McDonalds?
Mom: No, We Have Plague Inc. At Home.
Plague Inc. At Home: Actually Stellaris
damn that end was kinda deep
i shit you not that is the exaact way, place, and position of the scene that happened when i found the pirates on my 7th game. 8 years
Then the scourge arrive...
Very great video
To think it only took 80 years of constant fighting and terror to end all fighting and terror.
sometimes you have to figh fire with fire
Damn I can't believe this was 3 years ago. Time does fly
The "finally" killed me. There's tea in my keyboard. Damn you.
Can you imagine the scourge turning up and being like, well shit there is nothing to eat
Hitchhiker's Guide and Mitchell and Webb references in the same video? Sold
For the old guard ship, it's because space hulks are filled with horror from the warp
"Life always finds a way."
12:06 ”Haha they’re all dead!”
-Valefisk 2017
Best start EVER! 7/5 rating :D
Man, I should really give the game another shot now with this expansion...
Did anyone noticed that 10:20 the two stars make it look like the skull flag has googly eyes
"or at least I'm sure they will agree when I actually get around to telling them that" OMG, I'm dying XD
This really needs to be a book or something.
Now just wait a generation for the survivor's descendents to deny it ever happened.
Classic video
The space Geneva conventions are taking notice, Vale.
only downside is you missed the prespace age empires, presentient lifeforms, the space born organics and the enclaves. so life still exists. still impressive though
The God Exterminator has declared the holy order of Exterminatus upon the galaxy, allowing the cosmic chaos to reign supreme and not be interrupted by the whims of all with a cranium
so beautiful
"Earth. The final frontier"
you'll love nemesis
this video kept me laughing all the way to the depths of my fanatical purifier heart
I like how it kept calling you a monster
That's a dystropia you created, wp
"Here I go, killin' again!"
Death Guy #1
when you called the xeno a fungus I knew what type of playthrough this was gonna be XD
"Wiping out all Sentient Life in the Entire Galaxy"
*The Forerunners want to know your location*
That was quite terrifying.
yayy planet Krikitt
"It has to go."
He should do a part two because now he can actually blow up the galaxy
Fr
Ah, lovely.
