Many, many homes and commercial building use geothermal heat, as you recommended to pre-heat the air going into their furnaces. The air coming from the geothermal system is still much colder then you'd want your inside temperatures to be but it is much warmer, in winter, then the outside air is so by using it to pre-heat the air it makes the furnace more efficient and uses less energy to heat the building.
LDSPrepper There is a guy on UA-cam that grows orange trees in a submerged green house. He says that the heat from the green house running to his home keeps it balanced without the need to use a furnace 🤔
If the greenhouse is very far from the home you would lose a lot of heat as the ground is cool. I am building my geothermal greenhouse attached to the south side of my home right now!@@theMekanik
I bought the greenhouse kit with more then sufficient support to be strong. No additional support needed like I added to my PVC greenhouse that did need it and the added support was part of the design.
How often do you need to roll the sides up and down? In my experience with a smaller greenhouse, we would need to open and close the sides every day (but for how many months typically?)
Is there any problem with too much wind when it’s opened like that? Or does it just spill out the other side? I’m in my first spring with a similar greenhouse and I worry about damage to the structure or fabric/plastic when very windy and I live in a spot that gets pretty good wind.
Why are you running the blower to inflate the plastic? I'd think it would do a better job of keeping in the heat that you're trying to let out if the blower were running.
Great question Emerson. If the plastic doesn't remain inflated it is loose and get ruined by the wind constantly moving it around. It is best to keep it inflated.
If you want to keep all the bugs out that would work well. I could use that but I don't want to keep the bugs out. I want to keep the animals out. My healthy garden attracts beneficial bugs. The deer netting I'm using is also substantially stronger and less expensive.
I have been a fan since Houston. It is great to see how you have progressed. I am sure you have totally upped the game in southern Idaho
I appreciate that!
Dig down 8 feet run culvert as air ducts between your house and the green house, you can circulate the air & heat your home during the winter.

Nice. I just got another 20 foot bed built.
Right on!
Great information David oh, thank you so much once again. And yes I've been sharing
Awesome, thank you!
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Hi can you tell me where you got that crank or what it is
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Great videos my friend
Thank you 👍
I was wondering whether the Mittleider wooden trellis inside the greenhouse could be extended out to add support to the Greenhouse itself?

I want one.. can I order on..I need 30x60x10x6..
Straight wall is 6ft.. middle high is 10ft.. w.30ft. L.60ft

He said he opens it once per year, but he waits until summer to open the other half.

This is the second year I've rolled up the sides. They seem so heavy that wind has not been an issue for me at all.
I need one.. how much is it
Hi, I'm wondering if your geothermal system greenhouse works with aquaponic system? Or will it be to damp and moist? Very good videos you put up sir.
the geothermal system has perforated piping so that the condensation can leave the pipes and not eventually fill and clog them up.

You need no see’em bug netting

why do apologize that you did not say 32 degrees
Because !ost active Mormons are taught good manners and polite.
He may have been thinking about 0 Celsius which is equal to 32F which is confusing to most Americans, zero Fahrenheit is extremely cold.
First!!! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Yes you are!
