Glory to God in the highest!! Such a superb Bible study! God gave me the similar revelation 2 years ago so I’m blown away. We can SO preach the gospel from Genesis. In many ways it’s easier for the lay person to relate to. What a wonderful and awesome God we serve! 🙌🏾😭
You did it again guys! The content is amazing and i appreciate the new perspective of interpreting things clearly written into the depths of scripture. Love it ! Thanks again for the Kingdom Work you both do with your free time!
Fellas- I LOVE this podcast and listening to your conversations. Can't wait for the episode on Genesis 3 and would love more Old Testament convos! Thanks for what you do God bless
I'm not sure if you are interested but these guys have another channel called Under the Hood where they do get into a lot of the old testament, it's equally as great
The greatest love comes from sacrifice for the ones you love, But the greatest love of all comes from sacrificing knowing that the ones you sacrifice for will never know.
Ohh man, you have another channel! Thank you for letting me know. I will absolutely subscribe. Already subscribe to Under the Hood and have already watched and liked all the videos
@@JoseRivera-ov4vr Sir, there was supposed to be another comment, Under the Hood is another channel and they also have a church with a lot of videos its call Rio Vista Church. All have amazing teachings
Another great episode. I recall being told some time ago that the reason lucifer rebelled against God was because he did not want to be subservient to humans. The information I received was that if we were lucky to make it into heaven, we would have greater authority than the angels. I don't know if this can be found anywhere in scripture. This seems to fall into line with what you point out at the end of the podcast.
Thank you for tuning in and for sharing your thoughts! The idea that Lucifer rebelled out of refusal to serve humanity is a perspective many have reflected on, and while Scripture doesn’t give us a detailed account of his motivations, it does indicate that pride and a desire for higher status led to his fall (Isaiah 14:12-15; Ezekiel 28:12-17). The Bible also suggests that, in God’s eternal plan, redeemed humanity holds a unique place, even greater than the angels (1 Corinthians 6:3). It’s incredible to think that God’s love and purpose for us are so profound! We’re honored to explore these deep mysteries together with you. God Bless!
Why did God choose dirt to make us from? Although dirt is stepped on and often under valued if you drop a seed on it you will see life produced and you can’t do that on diamonds 💎 or gold! We produce life if we stay humble and remember we are dirt ❤
The first 2 chapters of Genesis do not have contradictory timelines. The first 2 chapters give us the creation account from two perspectives. GEN 1 gives us the order of things created in the physical universe and GEN 2 gives us the order of things created in the spiritual universe. It is the latter that governs the former. That is, the spiritual begets the physical. Spiritual first, physical second. So it is the order of creation events in GEN 2 that dictate the order of creation events in GEN 1. And it dictates it in a LIFO order (Last In First Out) as follows: In GEN 2, the order of things created in the spiritual world was as follows: 1. Adam/mankind (GEN 2:7) 2. Beasts (GEN 2:19) 3. Fowl (GEN 2:19) So in a LIFO kind of way, the spiritual timeline of Mankind/Adam first, beasts second, and fowl third, manifested or gave birth to the order of things created in the physical universe and timeline as this: GEN 1: 1. Fowl (GEN 1:21) 2. Beasts (GEN 1:24 ) 3. Mankind/Adam (GEN 1:26 ) So the first two chapters of the Book of Genesis are not contradictory accounts of creation. Instead, they give us a glimpse into the spiritual world and how it impacts/manifests/dictates/animates the material world.
If God rested on the 7th day and even the 4th commandment says rest on the 7th day Sabbath...what authority do we have as men to change Sabbath to the 1st day from the God set 7th
If you put your trust in Jesus Christ than we are obeying this law everyday. Matthew 12:1-8. All these laws are more than just physical but spiritual as well.
Thank you for raising such an important question! Genesis 2:2-3 makes it clear that God sanctified the seventh day as a day of rest, and the fourth commandment in Exodus 20:8-11 reiterates this, commanding us to “remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.” The Sabbath, as established by God, is indeed the seventh day, and it was never explicitly changed in Scripture. The shift to observing the first day of the week (commonly called Sunday) arose later in Christian history. This practice was influenced by the resurrection of Jesus, which occurred on the first day of the week (Matthew 28:1). Early Christians began gathering on this day to commemorate the resurrection (Acts 20:7, 1 Corinthians 16:2), but this was not a replacement of the Sabbath command-it was more of a tradition that evolved within the Church. The authority to change the day of rest from the God-ordained seventh day to the first day is not found in Scripture. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 5:17, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.” The Sabbath remains a day set apart by God, and many believers continue to honor it as such. This is a deeply significant topic, and it’s important to approach it with humility and a commitment to seeking God’s truth in His Word. Thank you for bringing it up-it’s a meaningful conversation for anyone exploring how to live faithfully in obedience to God. God Bless!
Most likely because the material realm is connected to masculinity. The spirit realm is connected to femininity. You can see this throughout scripture. You can also see this theme in most religions especially the ancient druids were the Kings had sex practices to receive spiritual insite into their future. Unfortunately for them they weren't receiving from good spirits.
But the Holy Spirit is not feminine, He is masculine. All authority figures, especially spiritually, are male. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are male. I don't want you to believe the Holy Spirit is feminine and is a female by proxy of that principle.
I challenge anyone to produce fact-based evidence regarding anything spiritual or metaphysical from the bible. (and the bible can't be used as evidence for itself)
We use phones with parts sourced by slave labor to post sarcastic comments trying to prove moral superiority while at the same time borrowing that morality from the very people we are passive aggressively accusing of hypocrisy. Hmmm 🤔

Funny I read man was made on mt moriah per the book of Jasher then taken to the garden of Eden after he had formed man
Also, interestingly, in Hebrew the noun referring to the Holy Spirit is a feminine noun. ❤
