    The celtics were always going to get tatum. They wouldn't have traded down if the sixers were not going to pick fultz. Tatum was going to be a celtic no matter what. So in a fixed draft, the celtics should have the first pick, and the sixers should have 3 and get fox.

    Celtics would never take a guard given that either Thomas or Irving was the leader of the team at the time. Everyone will tell you that Celtics would keep the #1 pick if they didn't think they could get Tatum but assuming that Tatum was off the board they would have gone Bam over Fox 10 times out of 10.

    Boston was going to take Tatum no matter what, they were just savy enough to get a pick from Philly because they knew Philly wanted Fultz and LA wanted Ball. The trade never would've happened otherwise, Philly was just too dumb to realize. Boston still had Kyrie, so they weren't as interested in drafting a guard.

      Had CLE been convinced DEN desperately wanted Melo, they could've traded down and gotten LeBron at 3 (DET should've traded the 2nd pick instead of wasting it on Darko - DEN/MIA/TOR suddenly at risk of not getting Melo/DWade/Bosh or having to trade up to preserve their draft order)

      Actually no, Philly wanted Fultz too because of the fit and was willing to trade up for the concencus pick due to being the perfect fit. The Philly wanted a PG. Lakers wasn't trading down as why were set on also drafting Ball or Fultz.
      Philly might had most likely drafted Fox if Fultz and Ball went to Celtics and Lakers. They had Simmons who was gonna play the 3 when they drafted Fultz.

    These reasoning are pretty out there. First you give reasons why one shouldn't take into account Lauri's years in the Bulls, then you do take them into account, then you say he isn't Dirk as if that is the par one needs to reach to be higher than 6th. Sure longevity argument can be made but even still, if you think Lauri would be the 6th guy out of these to be picked if coaches got free reign to sign any one they want you are smoking some good shit my man.

    • @And.One.Hoops1

      The same argument all over again. Bro played for the Lakers when LeBron is there for the first time and averages 19ppg.... Why is this even an opinion/argument? Also, Lakers were already a big spotlight even though they sucked for like 4-5 years? But Kuz played phenomenal basketball after he got drafted.

    • @mosstwig3591
      @mosstwig3591 Рік тому

      @Gliding because when it came time to actually win, Kuzma folded so fast. If the Wizards make the playoffs and he preforms well, I'll change my opinion and apologize. Until then, he is just another player who puts up empty numbers on bad team.

    • @gliding8524
      @gliding8524 Рік тому +1

      @Mosstwig Bro, they were winning in 2018-2019 too, but then injuries came and didn't make the playoffs. Kuzma's role change is what cause him to have lower productivity. This is also why I would say that Ingram could've been a much better fit for AD and LeBron cause no way the Lakers would trust Kuzma if two players of his two positions is SO MUCH better than him, making him more of a spot shooter.

    • @blowc1612

      It was an obvious thing during the draft. Fultz was the consensus number one pick and 76ers made it clear they wanted Fultz and if Celtics selected the number one pick in Tatum, Lakers would take Futlz since he was the clear number one pick at the time of the draft by scouts, even though I didn't agree and Tatum should be number one and then Fox was the best PG to me in the draft.
      Besides Futlz Lakers showed their cards by saying they're drafting Ball if Futlz want available. Also Ball was the concencus njmbee 2 pick by the hype he had since high school, and in college, even though it was so telling that Fox out playing in March Madness.
