I did the same rear refurb, on my 1980. All new now!
I think you can also torque that stuff down by simulating everything being in the ground. Of course making sure not to knock the car off doing it. Cause nobody wants to crawl around on the ground torquing stuff!
Yeah I will probably do it with a jack and just be careful.
I noticed on the left side driver side you installed the rotor on the axe flange with the hole to turn the adjustment for the E-brake blocked off,you wont be able to stick a screw driver to make adjustment. It's a very common mistake.
Eagle eyes! LOL..... Thanks! Still there is something about making an adjustment like that "blind" that does not give me confidence that I am actually hitting the wheel with the screw driver. Slipping the rotor on and off to me seems much easier. Of course if the OEM rivets were still there, one would have no choice in the matter.
It’s interesting about the Jim channa suspension. I googled it and found nothing… would love to read the story.

@@ImpalamansGarage the devil is in the details and this was the first time I heard of it. That is an awesome piece of automotive history. This video makes me want a c3 vette of my own!
Hey Red, how much would you charge me to make a copy of the mercedes 300sd w126 service/parts number manual?
The digital copy is here: drive.google.com/drive/folders/10h73bJL6HUumYLxietbJrZXvG2zXFaRD?usp=drive_link
Making paper copies would not really be practical because it's 2100 pages. lol
@@ImpalamansGarage I meant burn me a copy on CD 😆🤣
