So much epicness in one song, and without even trying to, that is why I keep listening to NIN since 1996, and I'm not tired yet. Trent's talent doesn't seem to run dry anytime soon.
Due to the heavy solipsistic themes and criticism to the US government in the previous songs, I can't stop relate all the musical arrangements on this song, specially in the 2nd half of the song, to the present humanity and its inability to control the destiny of itself in this universe, and the most powerful country in the world does not have any way -yet- to deal with this matter.
I love the part where he sings "and I only have myself to blame! And I only have myself to BLA-" and it cuts off. I know that intense feeling surge of anger wanting to scream but having to hide your emotions.
you can put all of nine inch nails music together at the same time, and it all goes together. like one big hyper musical burst. it makes me mad!!!!!!!!!!!!! smells like cheap popcorn music. hahahahhaahhaaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
everything is good about this song except for the chorus....trent's voice is a little off sounding and i think the chorus could've been epic if he placed his pipes on slightly different notes
