@@chris387 I took out the door panels and ran the wires to the mirror. I put 3 blue lights on side and one on the mirror. I drilled a hole about 1/2 inch. They are eagle eyes blue lights off eBay for $2.50 each. But I’m kinda iffy about them being a bit too bright and blue. In California I heard trucks can not have blue lights but I’ve seen so many trucks with all kinds of colors and bright as rock lights. Stupid California laws. Lights on a semi help with safety idk why it’s not allowed. Anyway thanks for the video you posted. Take care.
@@kenwoodlam4759 O ok! Must look nice the good thing is that you did the wiring in case California dot says something u can unplug em n plug amber. Yeah i herd CA dot is strict af. Supposedly IL has the same rules about light but i dont think its enforced bcus like you said I see em all the time in other trucks lol
@@chris387 my truck doesn’t have a light on the side of the sleeper I’m jus trying to find where the hell to wire it to so it’ll be a turn signal as well
Bro please tell me what did you connect the wires to. Directly to the battery or to a harness? And can I connect the turn signal wire directly to the turn signal wire by the headlight?
I connected everything it to the turn signal light in the middle of the cab. What ever that light does is what the mirror lights do. Just what I wanted, so they work for hazard, regular, turn signal.
@@SerbKing1389 The wires in the truck may not be the same current as the ones in the bulb even tho they may be the same color. Change em around maybe they'll light up
I removed the trim with the small mirror on the bottom, then the main mirror..it has a small clip I moved out n up so mirror came off n the shell has 4 screws behind where the mirror goes (the main mirror). Give it a try if n let me know
When you’re not using your blinker does your blinker light stay on like a marker light ? if not would i have to run it to the headlight(blinker) instead of the side faring blinker, if i want it to stay on and blink. Just for more visibility at night
@@tubeup It works as a market light as well. If your side bliker on the fairing doesnt work as marker light then yes I would run it to headlight blinker.
My bad .. just a few screws, I'll be removing them again soon to install keyless entry .. its going to be a few videos from now .. ill record the panel removal

Yeah those look really good. Damn sure easy to see your turn signal now. Big improvement.
Yup ! I use to have a harder time getting cars to yield..now as soon as I turn on the light they move over ...👌 totally worth it
