(Disculpe mi español no es lo suficientemente bueno para responder en español.) I know, the videos show exactly that and it`s strange🙂 I walked the Camino Francés many times before and was fortunate to visit very many beautiful sights. This time (2020) I went solely to film this timelapse. The intention is not to show my personal experience but to try to film the way only, as steadily as possible. Like a reference video. It`s a side project from an artistic body of work I started around ten years ago, mainly analog black and white photography. In the first years I did photography only. Then I started to document/film how I would take the photographs (filmed the whole Camino Francés 2019 parallel to taking photos and stopping everywhere) and later when reviewing the videos I had the wish to walk the whole Camino specifically for one large timelapse. The camera is on the chest, I can turn my head all the time luckily😀 I stop here and there, but I try to cut these stops as smooth as possible. On this étape for example the main stops are at 1:53 (where the clouds suddenly appear) and at 4:26 (but the second one is very hard to see). It`s a very different experience walking it like that compared to the Caminos before, but it also was a great joy, just walking to Santiago, not a lot of sightseeing. Often it`s very hard not to stop, knowing that I pass a wonderful place, but I tried to consequently walk and capture the way only. (As for me the timelapse video with all the stops from 2019 just doesn`t work.) One day I`ll publish the analog photos. They are the contrary, very "slow", very composed. Well thank you for asking, I had the urge to tell that for quite a while now😂
@@CaminoTimeLapse As matter of fact I will start in Oporto my first Camino Portuguese on 25th of June, arriving in Santiago on 10th of July, and then Fisterra y Muxia. Afterwards Santiago-Pamplona by train (9 hours) and Saint Jean PdP by bus for starting my eleventh Camino Francés. I'll be back to Florence on 6th of September. It will be a very long summer, as you can understand, Marc. I wish you "Buen Camino".
@@furiochellini7555 What a great journey. I wish you all the best and buen Camino. I`ll start the Camino Costa/Norte most likely June 23rd and maybe be in Santiago around July 23, then stay a couple of days, walk to Finisterre and Muxia and go back to Santiago. And then go home around August first. All the best for your Camino.
Thank you so much for these videos!!! I am coming in the summer of 2025. I don't have time to do the entire Camino Frances even though I want to. I will have 21-24 days. I am trying to determine if I'm going to bike several stages to try and complete, or if I'm going to take a bus and skip some stages. Your videos have been awesome in helping me evaluate my options and consider what stages are essential to hike. Thank you again!!!
Una curiosidad, ¿No te paras en toda la etapa ?. Observo también que pasas por sitios interesantes y no vuelves la cabeza para verlos.

Thanks once agai, Marc, I really appreciate it. I think I should be in Villafranca on 23th of August, more or less. I love Albergue Leo.

Thank youy very much for this information. Actually the first part of this stage is very ugly. Only past Camponaraya is more interesting...
