I did this walk in 2019 on a beautiful sunny day, we took the variant outside of Cacabelos, the scenery on this section is stunning one of the highlights of my Camino, the views before you enter Villafranca were breathtaking, thanks for the memories amigo. 👍

I never leave you a comment but usually I watch your videos that reminds me when I did my Camino from Toledo to Santiago. This part of the Camino Frances is the one I took to get to Santiago.
You haven't talked about the beautiful entrance of the Iglesia de Santiago in Villafranca del Bierzo. Its decoration is really beautiful and these doors are opened only during Año Jacobeo, and lets the disabled or sick pilgrims to end their Camino here instead of finishing it in Santiago. Due to it, it's called Puerta del Perdón (Forgiveness door)
