Yes, no heart for the fans. It was we fans which make this woman to a big star, and she didnt appreciate us. I am very disappointed that she never answered me. How could she be so heartless? her fall will be very deep when her beauty is gone, when she is old and her fans searching for younger stars, she would be very happy if fan letters come, but then no one will write her. I really dislike her for beeing so arrogant and heartless to her fans.

it made me cry for some reason, to see how Colbert went on and on with his favorite Bob Dylan lyrics, and Cate saying "NO, you go ahead." That was a beautiful moment. One of the great things about this quarantine is to be able to see a glimpse of different side of celebrities, like their pjs or homes, or moments like that. Sweetness, kindness and the passion for what you love expands.
They admire each other so much. Verging on a mutual crush. Cute

I never understood why people wear makeup, it's like wearing a mask. Once you wash it off, all your flaws that you were trying to cover will show. I wear chapstick, that's my makeup. All matters to me is staying positive minded, and spreading peace. Life is too short for negative things. Sometimes bad things pop up, we have to stay strong and keep moving forward. Machinima Aquinix It’s always a treat to hear Cate interviewed, but it’s particularly good fun when Stephen does it. You never know where the conversation will lead, but it is always sparkling and witty. And how interesting was the part where they spoke about Dylan lyrics. I’ve always felt he just should have written poetry and let other composers write the music and sing them. As an Aussie, I’m so proud of having Cate as a type of ambassador for the country. She never fails to represent. Stay safe everyone.

Elliptical is pretty standard - but yeah, insouciance is definitely not. And what's really cool is the way she just uses it casually (Dare I say, insouciantly?) in the conversation. It's just part of her vocabulary, not a big deal.
Kevin Street only she didn’t pronounce it correctly. She said insouicance but is insouciance. Subtle, but it made my jaw clench a little.

Same here. I watch Carol every other day during this quarantine. I just want to forget the world right now and be lost on her performances. Just last night, I watched the 2 Elizabeth films. And on those movies, she was just so superior in her acting, only Geoffrey Rush matched her in my opinion. Everybody else looked amateurished on her presence. She's just so breathtaking. I remembered, the reason I watched The Talented Mr. Ripley back then was because of her. I was probably 16 at the time and I went to the cinema to watch it and we're like only 3 or so people inside. It didn't matter to me. I just wanna see Cate. And I loved that film because of her. Now after 20 years, I'm falling in love with her all over again. I can't wait to see her new series :)
