Finally someone who's aware of some things being industry-specific. There are too many web designers and marketeers out there ignoring the industry specifics
The vid is a masterclass for a non-designer but a wordpress manipulator like me. I will definately apply what you have told for my website. Proud to be a sub!
Great material. It will definitely help me in my own development. It's great that you showed the specificity of the industry and how certain design principles worked in this particular project. Such films show that we have to treat each LP uniquely. I'm waiting for more such materials regarding LPs from various strange industries :)
Completely makes sense that you would need to add a lot of information and details based upon who the startup is targeting. But it was done in such a beautiful way. The tabs and categories within the page is such a nice way to add the information without overloading content and text. Very interesting I love hearing about your approach to these!
Probably the best website I have ever seen. I wish I could build something similar for my next client. I can't fault anything. It actually inspired me to tweak large parts of my new client's website.
Thanks, happy to hear that! We have green light from some other really exciting clients (mostly US based this time) to do case studies, I'm especially excited for one we'll do around January :)
I have been designing a health platform lately, and I felt happy when I saw some resemblance with yours, which means I have also learned a lot from you and your courses.
Absolutely seamless flow of solid content to the audience! Your videos are just 👌🏻🫡 Such detailed info of real projects with thought process elucidated in simple terms.
This is gold - thank you! I worked in the medical industry for years and know first hand how complex a redesign can be. I'll be rewatching this for sure. Curious, is there a link to preview the design and/or case study for more info? I looked in the description (but maybe overlooked it). These vids are not only educational for your audience, they are a sales tool too --- and a good one.
the site has a .com address - one thing to note is we didn’t code the frontend and it slightly changed since then. And yeah it serves multiple purposes :)
Very cool video! I have few questions: 1. Did you test only the hero section copy or everything? 2. Wouldn't it be a problem of SEO having tabs on a website? 3. So webdesigners don't need as much testing, user interviews and so on when doing web design? Heuristics is enough? Thank you for the video and great content!
Thanks! 1. The main test was on the hero, smaller tests on subsections too + surveys on how easy to understand subsections are. 2. It can be done in a way where it gets parsed by the bots 3. Heuristics combined with user testing is a superpower. In some cases you start with heuristics and then add more.
Wow, this is another eye-opener and it just goes to emphasize that research is just as important as the design. The decisions that are being made should be more objective than subjective. I would have been a part of your hype4acdemy community but I don't have the money to pay for it, I'm really eager to learn a lot from you. Please can you make a thorough video of each step you take in your research? There was a time I was watching one of your videos and you mentioned something about typeframing, and I applied that to my process.Honestly, I'm just hoping I'm able to afford to join your hype4academy community anytime soon. But until then, a video detailing how you do annotations, the questions you ask clients and those things you do that makes your research as powerful and as efficient as possible would really go a long way.
Pozdrawiam.
Wow! The redesign looks superb, Michal! You don't seem to use Figma, do you? I loved the new design, and I was mesmerize by your whole process. The questions that you made, the doubts that you solved, everything was so on point, really! I hope that I can learn stuff like that soon, bcs the result is so valid. Congrats.
No we don't use figma for professional work. It has security issues and it's a clunky web app that doesn't work with our workflow. Stuff like that mostly comes through doing lots of stuff - keep going :)
What will be an indication for a website for personalized insoles? Need: blog/information, kind of webshop (when adding it needs to fill in and add a personalized form). Those are most important. Thank you in advance.
What tools do you guys use to AB test copy on a landing page other then manual user testing? I'm having a hard time finding a tool that is capable, yet affordable for smaller agencies / design studios.
sir request you to please in next video teach us design thinking and problem solving practically. (NO short video, a LONGGG Video only) 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 pleaseee
You'd be surprised by how often graphic designers love minimalism and not being over the top. One example that can be "fancy" is a media studio (like a company that makes video ads and others things there you can have an impressive video showreel right in front of the eyes0
I am also working on a similar project in which the home page is quite long and contains a lot of content, but how can I achieve the quality design you have made, The client is giving very strange requirements, which is a big issue .And the client's budget is so small, how can I design it so well in such a small budget?
One of the key components is "user research." There is no cookie cutter approach to understanding users. We must design for who is going to use it. Just like with products in the physical world, I'm sure there have been plenty of interfaces you asked yourself: What where they thinking!
Bro you have to make 2 Videos: 1. How to make the perfect Main Page for dropshipper 2. How to make the perfect product page with crosselling etc. Wich is the Landung Page if you make Ads on fb or tiktok Many many people struggling with these 2 topics
I don't work in the dropshipping business and my goal is to share things that I actually know from experience. But there will be a lot more about good web design this year for sure.
The initial feeling is "wow, it's so nice" (the first redesign)... but then you start wondering and apart from being wonderful for Dribbble, yeah - it doesn't have to work in terms of conversion. So many people present stuff on Linkedin that is "wow" at first sight but then you see how bad the grid is or that there are mistakes in substantial ideas of the design. EDIT: I like that you defend more info on the website. Have you seen P. Lenart's latest video about cutting out stuff from an e-commerce page? ua-cam.com/video/_RJV9yxEb70/v-deo.html
I don't watch design youtube :) Only videos on how to kill a bear with your bare hands and start a fire. And other "get ready for an apocalypse" kinda stuff.
To make this job you need to spend a lot of time, probably what you did. It means this website should cost $25-$50K at least. I hope they paid this price.
So you changed the corporate identity so you can easily design the minimalistic website? Not a good approach in my opinion, unless you go through redesigning the corporate identity and then do the website.

Really love this video. There are very few videos like this out there.
I'm teaching an introductory course on UI + UX for the first time at a computer science career and I'm totally showing this case study in class 😍
So many people teaching what they actually don’t have experience in. Poor students
Awesome video and the fact that website is built using the Bricks builders say a lot! 💪💪💪💪
We didn't code it, so there are some small bugs in the way it's coded ;)
The Bricks builder is awesome! It has become my go-to builder nowadays

How does the sub navigation menus look on mobile?
Good question: the majority pf decisions here happens on desktop - in meetings but we do show all scrollable tabs on mobile too.

You need to graps the very basics first (before the courses) but there's a lot of that already in this channel for free

Is this more marketing or web design? Sometimes it feels im doing marketing and usualy the client has their own marketing team
