I highly recommend this video for anyone new to serging. Although it is directed at this model, there are many basics of serging that are explained as well. Well worth the time, and the machine is as good as described. I have this model and am thrilled to find this video. I now know so much more about using it, and serging in general.
@@lizurquhart4105 I am struggling to get through the last part of the red threading. My machine was used and didn't come with a book unfortunately and this video doesn't show me exactly what I need. I'm so bummed out. I have it watched over and over for the step before we thread thread it. Where does thread go before you thread the hole? Up and over or under or around. I am so lost on this step.
I love this tutorial however every time I thread my needle’s they are coming unthreaded when I start to sew with the serger it’s almost As if I never had threaded the needle’s & both have been threaded I watch the tutorial did it exactly like you said but the needles keep coming on threaded but the thread is still in the chain And the thread is now hanging behind the nails as if it was never threaded through the holes
