How can a college arranged for this religious meeting ??? Who gave them this permission? And Umashankar is a gov employee.. he shouldn’t do such religious talks.. what’s happening in Tamilnadu??

Yes it was happened in my college at 2014 only. I was there in this meeting. He talked very worst about islam and Hinduism. At the end, he made to stand the students whoever believes Jesus as God. He did a special prayer for those standing people. He talked many stupid things like he brings rain, he casted out devil's at the 12am midnight with the help of Jesus in home, also in the church to human beings by touching their forehead and said appaaley po saathaney. He also told tv should be in bathroom. Finally we tried to protest and the management apologised for this.
Lot of issues came to the college.
I remain silent. because I am illiterate of islam and christianity. If I meet this guy, definitely i will thrash him.

Great questions by the students and this guy is blabbering as he didn’t have any direct answers. Quoting something from Times of India doesn’t mean that’s the rule of inslam or hindu religion. If he reads Bhagavad Gita, he can find all answers as well. No religion teaches bad things. What a shame college is bringing people like this guy for giving some stupid lecture. I would have saluted him if he had given a lecture/speech on how to become an IAS officer. If he has guts, he should resign his govt job and take up preaching Christianity full time. He wasn’t govt job/money and uses his position to convert people in the guise of IAS officer.
