I found it great how much you both defied each other’s expectations, while there still being a key difference in the focus with Matt’s on the drums and bass and yours on the melody. You can never quite predict where the creative mind will go, loved it!

That was really cool for sure.
Those "Horns" were dope on the 2nd one. The "Bass" was dope on the 1st. Gotta give the tiebreaker to Nathan with all the "Risers". It added that extra intensity.
Both interesting and too different even to think of picking one. I hope there will be more and more producers involved in such battles to give us even more different versions to enjoy :)

Great job everybody! Hey, how about a challenge where all final mixes are done with ears plugged? Just able to use visual aids..I would love to hear how that came out!! My left ear is basically gone and my right ear is ok, not great. It would be an amazing thing if visual mixing actually worked!! Izotope, Fabfilter, KHS, voxengo and many others have visual plugins...let me know!

I love this series! Sooo question, is there a reason everyone has logic windowed and not full screen? Just been noticing like everyone has it windowed😄
Here is my theory: Logic has the possibility to save window configurations as “screensets”; you can switch between them with keys 1 to 9, but whenever you do that, even if you have been using logic full screen, it goes back to a normal window, and it can be kind of annoying

Both of you guys are highly skilled and on another level but to be honest the first track does not sound like hip hop. Don't blame you though as it seems kinda impossible to make a dope hip hop trap from that vocal sample. The vocal sample is a typical Pop Vocal Sample
