I already have it, but have found the 4 bar sequencer in it to be quite limited. i mean, would be nice if it was 8 or 16 bars. but it really is quite great, have found a lot of fun samples from my library that i've never heard of at all. btw, they do have packs now called xopaks but they're 39€ each - as of today, saw there were genres like "hiphop-lofi-chillout-jazz, altpopelectronia-melodictechhouse, techno&electro, poppy club trax". so 4 xopaks in total as of today.

The song is called “You Make Me Feel So Good.” You can distinctly hear the progression on all choruses and distinctively on the breakdown @3:32 I played on fender rhodes. All I can really add is to give you props for having excellent taste in selecting a quality string of chords! I have been looking for a decent drum sequencer plugin for ages and in the same day I found the best and the worst on the same channel haha! I've seen XO before and will deffo be copping. And the other one is deffo trash lol
I think I'm going to buy this. It's very powerful but it's taken me a while to decide because I work in more experimental genres and XO does NOT (as far as I can tell) operate well in anything other than 4/4 time. If it only had the ability to reduce the steps per bar from 16 down to, say, 10, 11, 12 or 14 - then it would be perfect. I'm getting it for when I use 4/4, which is still most of the time so that's fine. For other time signatures I think the only way to operate is to build a pattern with the last steps in the bar silent and play it through until you like the sounds, then drag the MIDI or audio into your DAW and continue tweaking the rhythm. If by any chance XLN is reading this comment... please allow us to change the step count if possible, or at least reset to step 1 when the DAW starts a new bar (is that even possible? I don't know how the internal clocks work...)
This software is amazing. I had no idea this thing was released 3 years ago. And I must question why Akai and Native Instruments haven't implemented this type of AI system in to their MPC and Maschine software. Both of their systems are primed to take advantage of this and because each pad on both systems is fully chromatic it would give their software a massive edge over non chromatic software.

@@TouchToneDSG That Nud will nudge the entire performance if I am correct. I am wondering if you can nudge one midi note. For example, can you nudge one kick in a lane without nudging the other kicks in that same lane?
@@TouchToneDSG I understand that you can nudge the lane, and/or whole performance. I am wondering if you can nudge one element in the lane. Say you have 5 kicks in one performance--can you nudge the 2nd kick while leaving the 1, 3, 4, and 5th kick in place?
