Good info! I like the way that you stressed the importance of thoroughly learning your individual tools. There are many good choices available, but they don’t mean anything if you don’t learn how to use them.
awesome set up , I have a 500 series set up for mic pres allows me to have a lot of flavors. Api, neve, warm audio, heritage, chameleon etc.. thanks for sharing the video.
@@TouchToneDSG 100% the SSL Fusion, had it on my radar for quite some while. Could you talk more about the Softube console 1 and how you use it? Curious to see how other engineers use it.
@@MarnixMohrmannPiano Actually yes ma’am that’s gonna be my next video I was talking about that that’s going to be out Friday the softtube stuff is for real
Nice setup you're building out. I'm a big UA fan girl and I have been using LUNA as a console. I love the new master plugins that they have been developing. The monitor thing makes more sense when your room is treated. If you add some with no treatment you're not going to hear everything in detail.
I have an Apollo 8 with a dangerous D box (silver) I use digital slate plugins uad plugins and some stop plugins from waves now I'm thinking about buying another Apollo 8 but the 8p to make it a multi-unit for I can make a 7.1 or 5.1 surround sound Studio
Man they got some fantastic stuff there’s a couple more pieces I want to get another company that I’m fascinated with is called Stam audio have you ever heard of them they have an API imitation that’s absolutely amazing
Gonna need an update on this one bro. Seems like you have a whole different set up now. Just copped a subsequent 37 and deep mind 12. Want to learn synthesis. You have any recommendations on what a good first piece of outboard gear. Still watch your big six video, haven’t committed. I’m currently running into an X4.
@@TouchToneDSG that dope I have some warm audio gear but I can’t seem to find a way to get the raw audio from my computer into my compressor back into the daw, maybe a video idea 😅😅😀😀
What gear do you own that you love in your studio
Universal Audio forever!
I still like their products just not more than this
