  • How to work towards “tucking up” into handstand:
In the ‘Hard Yoga Poses Made Easy’ series, we focus on a particular yoga pose or skill that seems (or is) very difficult and we make it a lot easier by breaking it down into actionable, realistic, and sequential steps.
In this tutorial, we focus on the action and transition called “the tuck up”.
This one is all about reps and using each attempt to gain confidence and work on finding the balancing point where the tuck up becomes a tuck and hold (and eventually tuck, hold, handstand).
To get to this point, we cover 5 steps/drills that you can start practicing today as you work towards the full transition (step 5).
Here are the 5 steps/drills we’ll be going over:
    1) Jumps
    2) Wall
    3) Forward
    4) Hold
    5) Tuck & Up
Take your time, enjoy the ride, and always feel free to ask questions!

I've built a flow just based on drills of your transition poses, and it's quite the workout. I'm gonna get strong while finally mastering challenging poses. Thank you!

@@stepaukob yes, I do strength training for my shoulders. I'm still lacking of flexibility in my lower back but the strength in the shoulders helps.

@@paulschweissbrenner I wondered if it was my shoulders weren't open enough but my shoulder strength also needs improvement.
