However, it is proper for ARMYs, even if they are low-ranking people, to shake hands with their superiors with one hand without bending their waist. We learn that way, and even newly enlisted recruits are taught that it is the right way to do it by higher ranks

Based on the fact that his parents forbade him from eating processed sausages as a child, I think he had a pretty strict upbringing, and it shows in his good nature, polite interactions, and general good manners. He was raised well, and it is easy to tell he came from a good family, if not a wealthy one.
That's actually true though. Not every ration is good and tastes better. The reason that Korean rations taste good is because the government really did their best to provide quality good food for the solders. It's nice.

Exactly! I wish they highlight that a bit longer. Based on other comments I've read, it's apparently an elite squadron so the effort to even get them to film that is a different scale. I'm sure it's not a daily routine and was put together for this series. Typically, you get this aerial show for most important holidays like Memorial or Foundation day.
Even if this series is going to end, I would still love to see them all together again on this channel. You should plan their next adventure as soon as possible.

The Korean MRE tastes better, but it's very bulky and there are apparently only 3 different meals, so soldiers get bored of it really quickly. Also, you don't always get the time to sit down and eat, so I bet it's not uncommon to just inhale the sausages and meatballs on the go without heating them up. Which is why western MRE usually come with a bunch of snacks and stuff that you can just eat on the go.
Totally. Seeing them become more humbled and impressed by Korea over the many episodes has been awesome to watch. They are definitely kind-hearted and open-minded young bucks 😅

@@samanthav3141 I think so too but I just really like how visibly happy they are when sharing you know? For example in one of the videos with them in boot camp, Natti showed the other soldiers that he can read Korean and they were really happy and congratulating him which I think is sweet.

Seeing the lads interact with Koreans is my favourite aspect of these videos, like when Max and Armand spoke to the elderly people, when they worked in the convenience shop and spoke to that delightful idol lady whose name I’ve suddenly forgotten. And when Nati was showing his Korean reading skills. Oh and of course when all the lads went to a Korean school! I want so much more of that!
Love this! The jets @1:34 gave me goosebumps, because it reminded me of my brother who used to fly fighter jets and served on a carrier. Thank you to the Korean Navy for pulling out all the stops for this series and for allowing such great footage of what it's really like in the mandatory military service. I'm sure these young men have a new appreciation for loyalty and service, as well as authority and honor. More of our young men need that these days. Thank you to all the cast and crew as well. 여기서 안나온게 있다면 저 파운드 케이크도 발열팩 안에 넣어서 같이 하면서 초콜릿도 같이 녹여서 나중에 부드러워진 파운드 케이크와 녹은 초콜릿을 파운드 케이크 위에 소스처럼 뿌려서 먹으면 훨씬 먹을만 합니다
만약 우유까지 있으면 금상첨화가 다름 없죠
그럼 그냥 처음부터 그렇게 만들어주지 훈련 받으면 갈증 미치는데 저 뻑뻑한 파운드 케이크 쳐다보는 순간 식욕이 뚝 덜어져서 미치는 줄
근데 사실 저 빡빡한 파운드 케잌이 전투시엔 개꿀일거임

한가지 확실한거는 신식 전투식량은 세계 탑수준으로 괜찮은 수준임 솔직히 전쟁중 저정도 수준으로 먹을 수 있으면 진짜 행복한거임

미군 MRE랑 비교해도 뛰어나고 발열팩 이전 물에 데워서 먹는 구형 전투식량도 맛있었음

Seeing the lads interact with Koreans is my favourite aspect of these videos, like when Max and Armand spoke to the elderly people, when they worked in the convenience shop and spoke to that delightful idol lady whose name I’ve suddenly forgotten. And when Nati was showing his Korean reading skills. Oh and of course when all the lads went to a Korean school!
I want so much more of that!

Love this! The jets @1:34 gave me goosebumps, because it reminded me of my brother who used to fly fighter jets and served on a carrier.
Thank you to the Korean Navy for pulling out all the stops for this series and for allowing such great footage of what it's really like in the mandatory military service.
I'm sure these young men have a new appreciation for loyalty and service, as well as authority and honor.
More of our young men need that these days.
