We live in the country too. Good for you getting it all tucked in for the winter. Hope to see more of the inside with the winter coming. The pups are the best, but the parade was fun as well. Stay warm!
Just so natural - this is life as it really is, warts and all. Great videography, thank you for taking so much time and trouble in the recording, editing and uploading for us 'Armchair fans' to watch in the warmth of our homes! Keep safe.
I can relate to your weather, it's currently 28 here, my hands ache watching you work with no gloves brrrrrrrrrrr. Look at the pooch all big now, he's about to catch up with Max!! Love your videos I guess because you are so relatable and not a jerk like a lot of the current creators. I absolutely loved your cabin series, can't wait to see it in the spring. Keep up the good work!!
You never cease to amaze me with all you know how to do and you also remind this 66 year old woman of a lot of good memories with my dad and he could fix or do anything he set his mind to thanks for all of it the good memories and watching you work
I could have written that comment, too! I'm the same age, and my dad could also fix anything - with an attitude a lot like 99's here, which is why I watch this channel - for the memories, the personality, and also I like watching what other people do so I can learn more.
Your ingenuity amazes me. You see something that needs to be fixed and you fix it-you make it work with what you have. Genius! Eventually you will need to figure out a way to add a structure to house all your machines to keep them out of the weather. I have no doubt you will come up with a stellar solution!👍🏻💪🏻
Ive resorted to the Ford 3G alternators for anything now, simple 2 wire hook up, internal cooling fan so nothing to catch a knuckle or finger tip and is 130amp for ALL the lights to see with….although with 2 LED light bars and 6 led work lights and fuel shut off holding mine only pulls 36amps when running and full battery its nice to know its extra there to help jump the loader or tractor if needed
I have a 60xt also. Doesn't like the cold. Got a seal needing replaced on left drive motor. Hydraulic fluid goes to the chain case. Just been adding fluid as needed.
Glad you got it working right... kinda lost on if you got it to charge the battery but I reckon you'll cover it again when/if you get the proper wiring harness :) - Stay Warm!! (and Be Safe!)
Good Morning and thanks for the video. That was some good work you'll be glad you did. Looking forward to the one promised for Saturday. Our pups (a lab and two coonhounds - aka "the herd") all say hi to Max & Mingo! I used to live where it snowed every winter and when I moved away, everyone said I'd miss it. Ha! Not likely! It's been 27 years and last time I checked I still don't miss it. I always say if I ever think I might, I can just look at a picture of snow and say, "well, isn't that pretty!" while kicked back in flip-flops with a cold beer in my hand! Unfortunately, it does snow here every few years or so and everyone always gets excited except me. Take care of yourself and I'll be watching on Saturday from beautiful Charleston SC.
awesome another video this channels is so great the best you get to see it all o the truck brakes we gotta fix it then you see how that's done you get to see everything really cool. This guy reminds of my brother in a good way trucks and cars.
Oh man. You know, I used to live right up on Lake Erie. When I retired, I moved south about 2 hours drive to Southeast Ohio. Today, we had sunshine and blue skies. But my son, who still lives up on the lake, had about 4 feet of snow. 😂
Ha! The funny thing is, I only moved about 100 miles south. That's the lake effect you get up on those lakes. Unless you're into boating and fishing, and grey skies and snow, no sane person should be living up there. Lol.
@@chewysnipes6376I lived in Sandusky during the winter time one year, it was definitely brutal lol. I moved a few hrs south also, so it's not near as bad
I'm very fortunate that my brain merges well with electrical. I enjoy the puzzle. HOWEVER, I completely understand how frustrating it could be to those that need to get shit done. I get that same way with EFI.
u can use those 55 gallon barrels u just have to keep a board or rock underneath the barrel 90 degrees to the bungs so water wont pool there if u leave them outside
Not gonna say I enjoy seeing you have difficulties like spilling fuel, frozen valves etc but it's nice to see I'm not the only person that has those things happen all the time 😅
Made my Monday! Now that you've got everything done, hope winter isn't so hard for you. Thanks to Max and Mingo for pitching in. I'd love to know what Mingo thought of the snow! lol

I'm jealous, we don't get snow in Atlanta, if we get anything it's usually ice, great job getting ready! I hope you and the family had a Happy Thanksgiving.
Have you considered placing your storage containers side by side and building a roof between them to have covered parking for some of your smaller machines? Look at AMBITION STRIKES as a reference.
Max should be your channels photo, not a common yellow tractor, I remember you mentioning that a while back during one of the cabin build live streams. I love you Max, your a good boy! You too Mingo
Single wire altenators are great for cars and trucks that run high rpms but tractors and equipment you need an exciter wire other wise you need to run most equipment wide open or you need an overrun pulley. it's easy to wire in a standard 10si or 12si gm altenator all need is a keyed power wire and a standard 10si or 12si is cheaper than single wires.
Your design for the shop you can edit the side covers to fit your attachments for your machines so that the weather doesn’t wear on them so hard. I only know a little bit about snow. As I am in Florida. Doesn’t snow down here.
Since you couldn't how's the men doors like you wanted to what are your thoughts about using tarps it would at least keep the snow off of them and redirect water🤔
I don't even live in such a cold region but I'm not fond of the 3 cold uglies (Dec, Jan and Feb). I can imagine how tough it is for creatures of all kinds (including steel ones). Brrr.
I’m in the comment section for a little bit here to say hi to some of you guys

I think Mingo must be eating Max's lunch! He's growing rapidly. For someone who never needs to deal with snow, it sure looks good!
Ah, yes. The colors of fall definitely trump the first snow. Yet both are so beautiful! I swear you are feeding Mingo Miracle gro! 😆
He’s growing like crazy, I miss that little tiny pup
I loved the Christmas parade truck. So cool and awesome ❤
That was a lot of fun, i wish I’d gotten more footage of the parade
Hi Max and Mingo. I see Mingo is growing so nicely. 😊 love watching your video. I can imagine how cold in NY! Keep warm.

Man, here in SC I think we have had 6 inches of snow total in the last 12 years. I remember as a child it once snowed 16 inches, dang global warming.
I have a 60xt also. Doesn't like the cold. Got a seal needing replaced on left drive motor. Hydraulic fluid goes to the chain case. Just been adding fluid as needed.
This thing does fine in the cold, it’s just the stupid batteries that are always dead
Yup winters 🥶 here!
14° in Star City Indiana
Keep it there please
@ thanks I don’t think so
Mingo is getting big, I love both these guys

Electrical is simple, engineers and big companies have been allowed to abuse it and install all kinds of unnecessary garbage in the name of progress.
Have you thought about using perspex glass on the skid steer cab sides and back windows to reduce the rain during the winter
I look forward to seeing your videos.
How did you learn to fix all these different machines?
Growing up poor lol
Here in the Southern Tier, we got over a foot and a half, and it's still coming down. Thankfully, I got all my first snow chores done as well.

@99Projects makes sense I guess, I just think Max is great and love seeing him on your videos, he and Mingo add a lot. Enjoy the snow ❄️
Modern-day MacGyver!
Lol maybe, I’d have a hard time fixing much with bubble gum and a paper clip
We had a nice fall for the most part. Paid for it the last few weeks with nonstop rain. But glad to see snow and frozen ground finally !
I agree, the rain is pretty annoying
Hello Max and Mingo. 2 feet of snow here in Eden, more later this week.
Keep it please
Hey one of the wires on the alternator is for the hour meter, if I recall correctly so if you don’t have it wired to that, it won’t read correctly
Huge fan of your vids man I’m also not ready here in NH hope your stuff starts ok lol my tractors aren’t very happy
Nothing is happy about starting in the winters lol
