    I just bought a Traxxas Rally Roller with S2s on it. They are hard with a smooth surface with sipes and feel like they will drift on asphalt. Waiting on my electrics this week so i can try them out this weekend.

    I've been thinking of getting the older Grp's but i don't know which to pick. I've recently bought the new xm3 rigid and it has no grip, only if i be gentle with the throttle to 20 mph i will get grip + they blew up, i don't care about drifting and bashing all i want is a tire that has lots of grip for drag racing and can sustain around 80 mph because i only did 63 mph with limited space and i think 80 mph could be around its top speed. I am running a Hpi Vorza with a 40t spool and 25t pinion, 6s with a max 8 combo. I would run the car mostly in the summer around 20 degrees Celsius. Any help would be appreciated.

    Which ones do you recommend I’m hitting about 90mph. I have wide bsr foam tires. But they tend to rip at those speeds and have no grip on take off. I usually have to ease into it until over half throttle. For a 1/10 car

Shame GRP don't do Felony S7. My infraction on S7 is all over the place in the winter. Good for drifting but its all over the place on 100% power. Seem to be holding up longer than the Silver hoons. Thanks for the info, been having some trouble figuring out what tires to get for speed runs.
    I'm planning on hitting speeds of 70+mph. And with winter pretty much here, im from CT, USA, I wasn't sure what GRP tires to get during these late fall/early winter temps. I was originally going to get some S5, in hopes to get better stability @ high speeds. But this whole road surface temp threw a curve ball @ me lol.

    Hey great video!! Is there a reason why alot of the wheels have rash on the edges? Is that from just normal driving on flat roads or it that from swiping curbs on occasion? Just curious! Also think I could run these on my 3s typhon? I wanted to get the 1:5 so I could run on my kraton and typhon. I think while the 1:8 would be perfect for my typhon they might be too small for the kraton? Any advice? Thanks bro! 👍👊

    • @zookeeper22r.ccarstrucks89
      @zookeeper22r.ccarstrucks89  4 роки тому

      Thanks bro and yes the rashes on the tires are from hitting curves and hitting people during a race...I don't like to run in areas that have sidewalks anymore so as long as you don't have sidewalks you will be good and yes the kraton will be too big for the 1:8 scale grp tires,,, I would go with the 1:5 scale grp tires if I had a kraton.... good luck bro and remember keep that trigger down and always have fun be safe out there...
