hulled barley and pearl barley both r different. with husk hulled barley, without husk pearl barley, it is available in the market look like whole wheat grain

Your batter was too runny and coarse ground. Otherwise good recipe. Without fermentation into a monsoon season is necessary.

if it is like upma rava style coarse barley just add 1 urad dal and one barley soak it grind it .fermentation is optional (probiotic preference)
