I like Leviton panels, the only supplier in my area that has any parts for them is Home Depot. I just dont want to be going to homedepot for Leviton panel parts. They usually have stock issues and no one to follow up with and order them if need be. But I have been in touch with SPAN, another smart panel thats on the up and up. Regardless I agree with you smart panels are a must in new custom builds, I'll definitely be putting one in on a custom build
About $100 for a smart breaker, but their standard breaker is about $7-$9, however you can mix and match. So for example if you want automatic load shedding on say only 5 circuits, your getting that for $460 extra vs $4000 for a span panel. If you don't want that capability you don't pay for it, but because the breakers are plug and play it's an easy upgrade in the future.
Thanks for the Chanel I’ve installed over 30 200 amp MCB panels In the last 12 months with excellent results I’ve only installed 1 and am about to install the second one with the a WiFi hub with a Gfci smart breaker. We live in a area that requires sump pumps and despite using a alarm Gfci receptical to notify the customer when their pump fails and trips the gfci receptacle if their not home. The audible doesn’t help and then their basement floods. By using the Leviton panel with the WiFi hub And smart Gfci circuit breaker to notify the customer via email notifications that their critical sump pump circuit breaker just tripped potential saving $1,000 upon $1,000 of dollars of losses and aggravation it’s a no-brainer. I only wish( I or we ) could work with Levington to develop to a marketing brochure ( for us Electrical Contractor to reach out to the customer) to upgrade and up sell all the benefits that their smart panel has to offer them after moving in to the new build House This would also benefit the builder at the time of sale Or durning their pre construction meeting and say to their customer “ our Electrician installs a smart ready Leviton circuit panel as a standard and here’s a brochure on all the benefits it has to offer” Once again Thank you for the Chanel God Bless Geo
Sorry for late reply. Wow that is an amazing example of the upsell power of this panel. I'll forward the info. As far as brochure don't wait for them, make one yourself using fiverr or a graphic designer to highlight those points. Appritiate the post gives others new ideas to level up!
Question, so the panel is the smart device that can tell you how much power each breaker is pulling? Or the breaker itself has to be the smart one? I just want to know the data how much energy each breaker is consuming.
@EladShabtai-n4h Yes adding anything "smart" would be additional but just having a white panel with the option to upgrade to smart is worth the additional $ to $100 initial investment over a off the shelves panel in my opinion.
I was hoping someone would have responded from NC. Call a few wholesale houses in the area and see if they carry the panel. Ask for a refferal to the electrician that buys the most.
Can't wait to see the skee-ball through the front panel glass 🤣
It's plexi we're good. =)

Looks good man. I’m about a week away from becoming a contractor in Las Vegas NV
Awesome! Let us know how it goes.
How much are the breakers? Square D 20 amp single pull is 6.98

Nice
Can the main breaker just be smart to monitor all electric usage instead of each individual breaker monitoring usage?
Great point, haven't seen that yet

@JorgeElvir it's the breaker that is smart so you choose what loads are needing to be monitored or controlled
What is the cost of the smart breakers? Doesn't that make the materials significantly more expensive?

Holy smokes, why in the world would you want a house that big?
Yeah, we went way bigger than we needed. 🙌
O have a question. This Leviton smart breaker can remotely turn on? I saw a person that I can turn off remotely , but not turn on .
Load shedding only. Can't turn back on due to saftey. Not a switching device.
You need the generation 2 breakers and whole house energy center to turn them on.
Do you know or have a contractor in Aberdeen NC that can install the leviton?

@@The360Electrician Great point brother!
