MinKVich is the pronunciation. 2004 was the year I got back in the hobby after being gone in my high school/college years. I ripped a lot of 2001 UD golf with Tiger Woods RC's because my LCS had a ton of it for cheap.
We all remember the legends, but it is fun to see the players you may have forgotten about over time with the old wax rips.
Robbie Hammok was the catcher who caught Randy Johnson's perfect game.
I remember always chasing Ken Griffey Jr when I was a kid and my Cowboys cards
Some names i havent thought about in 20 years LOL!! remember the best place to buy retail in 2003 was K-Mart always had the best sections and always in stock!! great video!! thanks for sharing!!
Sounds like a typical day for you,
$650 wax = $50 worth of cards.
That was a fun trip down memory lane! I am trying to remember if I saw that product, since that is the era when I was collecting.
The odds on 2013 Topps finest were the odds of finding those out of each 6-pack Mini-box, so I think the odds skew a bit closer to today's odds than it looked like there! Still such a cool rip to watch.
Great video! Thanks for doing a n opening of an older but a fun product and i too like the manufactured cards.brought back memories of when i opened them back in the day.i had a box topper of brady in the football product and itwas always one of my favorite cards because it was different .
I still have some of those 2003 UD "patch " cards. I have the Ichiro.
Hey Hey!! Lets go! Thanks for sharing! Love collecting with my son age 12!
Skaggs did pass away sadly. 😢
I remember 1 of 1’s were really rare . And so we’re good autos and actual patches or jerseys but mainly the patches
I always enjoy seeing older hobby boxes I haven’t seen before. I find it interesting that Finest 2013 looks a lot like Prizm, when Prizm first came out in 2012 and Prizm is kind of supposed to be like the Panini version of Finest in my mind. It turns out card companies copy each other a lot either intentionally or unintentionally. I find it hard to believe Panini never saw 2000 Pacific Prism before, when they bought other Pacific brands.
Nice Rizzuto! The scooter!
Yes they used spacers in the late 90s early 2k.
Man I absolutely love the traveling back in time but damn it makes me feel so old. I just remember being so thrilled to pull good players didn't have to be a 1/1 or an auto. The good old days, a more simple time
Wow brings back memories and 20 years ago it was binders and 2$ cards in a 5$ wooden plaque 😂😂😂
So many old names/memories. Thanks for sharing.
Blez sports cards just pulled the big wemby 1/1 auto with the artwork on his face
Congratulations on 50k RGL!
That was cool RGL!
Those oversized patch cards are actually pretty sweet. I could totally see that being a thing in Allen & Ginter.
Bring back the checklist in a hobby box lol
What I remember from 2003 is paying $100 at the very most for a hobby baseball box. 2001 Bowman was $90. Around that time Exquisite Basketball was $500 and people thought it was overpriced.
David Freese was World Series mvp
I have a very very similar patch card of Ichiro as shown on the UD box lol.
Joey Votto is with blue jays org. Right now, rehabbing I heard and will be with the buffalo bisons and blue jays may call him up eventually
That oversized white sox card is awesome 👌
Hop in 😂 the DeLorean 😇😇 Awesome word.
You were right rip Scarggs
I miss topps finest for football
damn, it just hit me that someone born in 2010 might actually be watching your videos
I was born in 2010 and love his channel
2004 was a year I was deployed to Iraq, so no cards for me... I did get into fantasy football that year and won with Priest Holmes/ Larry Johnson
Cingroni pitched for a combined no hitter in "2018"
I got the nfl version for Christmas one year lol
Jed Gyrokos is from my state WV
Shelby Miller. Traded for Dansby Swanson
Ichiro is one of the best.
11th best mariner lol
I was huge on collecting MJ and Randy Moss back in that 03 time period. I sold some LeBron stuff that makes me wanna puke. I had what would be worth a couple hundred thousand dollars worth of stuff now that I sold in 05 and 06 for about 8k
Go hunting for 🧟♂️🧟♀️🧟 go big RGL 😎👍
The D backs traded Dansby Swasnson to Atlanta for Shelby Miller. Don't think he ever won a game for them
Tino & Edgar are not actually bro's
So that whole UD box was all manufactured relics??
Game used material with a sticker auto lol
❤❤🎉🎉
Sorry to say I met ryne Sandberg I worked for tsa in spokane he was an absolute ass
Patch cards had better value back then..
Topps sure did ruin chrome update. Liked it better when it was a Target only retail exclusive product and only $20 a mega box
men-kay-vitch.....last out for the Red Sox clinching win to break 86 year curse
Corey Patterson smh....A lot of people think Bartman is the reason my Cubs lost the World Series in 2003 but its really Corey Patterson and my buddy. I had a CP signed hat i wore every game of the playoffs that year. The Cubs beat my buddys Braves in the NLDS. He stayed the night at my house the game before the Bartman game. The next day i couldnt find my Corey Patterson hat. Then Bartman, a Cubs loss and the rest is history. As SOON AS THEY WERE ELIMINATED he called me and returned my hat smh.
Rirruto????? lmao Billy Madison
Those are z's
