This is the first foundation that you've tried in a while, that I really like on you. I love humectants, so glycerin doesn't bother me. I do wish they would stop making these products with fragrance. The Chanel Tinted Moisturizer gave me the worse rash on my cheeks. I think it was the fragrance combined with the SPF, cause I can handle other Chanel foundations. It does really look beautiful. I don't like silicones in my foundations. Right now I have many foundations I want to use up, but I would consider this one in the future. Lol, I've never actually finished a powder. I use them so lightly, that years and years later something nicer comes out.
Hello Jessie :) You have such a beautiful skin but I remember you mentioned it was sensitive. Recently a few people shared with me that they had an unpleasant rash or breakouts caused by the Chanel tinted moisturizer. I think you are right: it can be the fragrance combined with the spf. When I was younger I used to love fragranced skincare and makeup. I notice that with age I became less tolerant to fragrance in my skincare. Now I really appreciate fragrance free products. xoxo
I love this video. You have such beautiful skin! I worry that the glow of this foundation will not work on my 58 year old skin. However, I love the prisme libre powder (thanks to you!)! Even though my skin tends to dry, it is so beautiful! I love the mousseline pastel. I would love to see a video on your skincare routine! Thank you! 🌷Barb
Hello Barb :) I will have a skincare videos soon but I will be posting more skincare content on my blog. I'm so happy to hear that you like Prisme Libre. It's my most repurchased powder. xoxo
Hello gorgeous. The foundation looks great on you. I try to stay away from products that contain coconut. It is ver oclusive but also prone to give you pimples . I see tat it has zinc and titanium but down at the very bottom. Always appreciate you info. and will wait t hear more fro you about this foundation. XO
Hi Elena :) I used 2 - N120. I purchased the foundation online so unfortunately I can't compare the two shades. C stands for cool which means that 1 - C105 is a foundation with cool (pink) undertone. N stands for Neutral. I hope this helps. xoxo
Your skin looks great. When you set it with powder it looks like it would work for oily skin. Thanks for your review. I am excessively oily so I will pass.
Hi Angela 👋 Thank you for another absolutely amazing video! You are so STUNNING!!!! I have a quick question for you. My birthday is coming soon and my boyfriend is going to get me some nice makeup. I am looking for a foundation and was wondering if you could help. I have EXTREMELY EXTREMELY dry skin, and mature skin. I don't need a lot of coverage because don't have a lot of redness or spots. But, I do have issues with foundations settling into my wrinkles 😭 I have been looking at 3 different foundations. The Lancome Absolue Makeup Cream Foundation, Guerlain L'essentiel Natural 16hr Wear Foundation, and the Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation. Which one would you recommend for my skin type? I've been looking the most at the Lamcome Absolue Makeup Cream Foundation because it says it's for dry to very dry skin types. But I have heard good things about all 3 foundations. Thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰
Hello :) This sounds so lovely! Happy Early Birthday! To be honest with you I haven't tried the Lancome Absolue Makeup Cream Foundation but I just looked at the ingredient list and it contains glycerin, petrolatum and vitamin E. These are all great ingredients for dry skin. However I have never tried this foundation so I don't know how it feels on the skin. I have tried the Guerlain L'essentiel Natural 16h and it' gorgeous especially for dry skin. It blends beautifully and has a light medium coverage. It feels very moisturizing. The Guerlain foundation also contains glycerin, lactobacillus which is a probiotic and works nice on the skin and also vit. E and a lot of naturally derived ingredients. The Chantecaille foundation is not my favorite. I've tried it and it doesn't wear well on the skin. It is not a bad foundation but I personally don't like it and the packaging is quite messy as well. So I would suggest you pick either the Guerlain foundation or the Lancome. I hope this will help. xoxo
@@Frenchforaday oooohhhhhhhh, thank you so much for letting me know what you think. I appreciate you so much 🥰🥰 I will definitely stay away from the Chantecaille foundation. The reason I was asking about the Lancome foundation is because I'm not able to find hardly any reviews (videos) on it. I can find a lot of videos for the Guerlain foundation though. Well, since my birthday is coming up I might just get both of them 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thank you again for letting me know what you think 🥰🥰
Oh thank you so much for this review Angela 💞 it looks gorgeous on you too and your right for summer time and yes normal and dry skin would live it even mature skin like me. Hi Angela! I love this foundation on you. Much prettier than the Dior. It did appear oily after 9 hours.
Absolutely lovely on you. Definitely like it best once you put a bit of powder. I just ordered it! You look beautiful.
I liked this so much I watched it twice! Excellent job! You're so glamorous!
You do a nice job of giving the facts - what I won’t.
