I still go with the Benefit Porefessional primer and am happy with that! I’m wondering if the matte primer might work differently for you in the summer? It’s a win/win though, as they are both really pretty under makeup! Thank you for sharing your time and talents with us, and Happy (belated!) Valentines Day!!❤🎉
Hi Lisa. You guys have had a worse winter than us. I'm in PA, and no snow as of yet. Today's temperature is supposed to be in the 60s. Strange weather. I love the Too Faced eyeliner. It just glides on. Your makeup looks incredible. I don't see a difference on either side. Hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day❣❤❤
Loved this review as I am having some dry patches! I also ordered more eye lashes! I ordered the Martini and I wore them yesterday with no problems except they did rub my sunglasses! I wanted to try them on a day there was no time rush and I must say I was surprised how easy they were to apply. By the end of the day I could see the base so I am going to add a black eyeliner at the next wearing. When you are 80 and can rock false lashes that is a fantastic achievement! Thanks! 😊
The unusual winter weather isn't only hitting Texas this year. I live in DC, and other than the holidays (where the highs were single digits and teens), we've had an extremely mild winter. It's been in the 50s and 60s for a good portion of January and February, and we've had several days that have reached 70 F. I didn't wear a coat all week this past week! Also, we've been chasing records for consecutive days with no snow (320 days, dating back to last winter). All of our trees and flowers are weeks ahead of schedule. It's been so bizarre... ...so of course I'm expecting a Nor'easter to dump 3 ft of snow on us in late March!
Your brushes are my favorite out of my collection of brushes, everyone of them do an amazing job on my textured older skin. I have some very expensive brushes including Sonia G , I do love her brushes but I adore yours. I will always recommend your brushes to everyone
Hey Lisa!! I am from Alligator Mississippi and I've been a BIG fan of your channel for 5 yrs. I love your BK BEAUTY brushes and all of your content. I have tried and found so many Holy Grail products because of your recommendations so THANKS SO MUCH our weather has been the same here in MS too
I can’t tell you how much I admire your continuing presence on UA-cam beauty even after launching and monitoring a wildly success brand. So many of my favorite people on UA-cam mostly fade away from doing videos of real exploration and analysis after launching a brand. Or any videos at all. I certainly get it and am not judging them; many things in life just change and evolve naturally. But I particularly appreciate you being here!
I’m so happy to see this video. I bought the glow primer. I love it so far. I was thinking about buying the Matt primer but now I think I’ll just enjoy the glow. 💖💄👄
I have the Dior Primer, I like it, but my all time most favorite primer is Tom Ford Illuminating Primer. It’s pretty expensive, so I wear Benefit porefessional, on home days.
I bought the matte primer online the day it launched and unfortunately had to return it. I got no mattification from it and no pore diffusion. It’s a thick texture but no matter how I applied it or what foundation I wore it with , it was glowy and just basically did the opposite of what it said. I hope others enjoy it but for the price, I had to return it.
I tried the Glowy Dior primer and it didn't blow me away. It was no better than less expensive primers. I honestly didn't even notice there was a matte version. Off topic: received my Risa lashes. They are beautiful (Day Club and Martini). I haven't worn either yet but I know they will be perfect for my "old" semi-hooded eyes.
You're not the only Content Creator to review the two primers and say that there wasn't any real difference between them. Kinda odd, if you ask me 🤔 My "critique" of that particular Nars eyeshadow palette is there isn't a solid dark shade to create any depth and, I think, most looks created with it are going to look very similar. Wishing you a Very Happy Valentines Day 💝 Love you Lisa, thank you for this awesome vid. 💜❤💜❤💜❤💜❤💜❤💜❤💜❤💜❤💜
I always have problems on choose a color for my concealer. I don’t know if I should choose a color lighter than my foundation, I’m pretty pale, or should I choose one that is darker than my foundation.
That is a great question! So it really depends on what you like... but if you have a lot of darkness under the eye you need something to neutralize it before applying a concealer that is too light.. If you don't have much darkness you can go in with a lighter concealer alone. If you do, try a peach color corrector or a peachy concealer that is not too light, then you can add a little bit of a lighter concealer to brighten if you want
Lisa, thank you for such a thorough review of both primers - I may pick up the glowing formula. My favorite primers are YSL touch eclat blur, Milk Makeup and Bobbi Brown vitamin base. Still attempting to get the Iconic London blurring primer! Seems to be sold out everywhere. ☺️ Happy Valentines Day hope Cupid is good to you. Melanie from Maryland ❤
I loved the Hourglass Vanish primer but, to be fair, I only used it once because I had a trial size given to me. It seems absolutely gorgeous but so expensive...
I have mature (55yo) combo oily skin. Is there one primer that can blur /mattify my pores t-zone, but also plump/hydrate fine lines on my cheek bones/crows feet? I dont want radiance on my oily pores
I noticed that in most, if not all, of Lisa's latest videos appeared very golden/yellow based on my screen. Not sure if it's my phone/desktop monitor. I haven't been able to distinguish anything regarding one color over another or one texture over another. All face based products-foundation, blush, bronzer and highlighter- look the same. I know absolutely nothing about lighting to suggest what might be the culprit, but it's like there is no contrast. I know that would not be Lisa's intent. Hopefully she will see our comments and make lighting adjustments, if applicable. I can't take a good pic with the lighting adjuster on my phone, so can't imagine the work that goes into getting video lighting just right. Thanks for commenting, I thought it was just me.
@@robinc713 no problem! I'm glad someone else is noticing that too! I left comments many times but I guess she never saw it 🤔 she's been on UA-cam for a very long time so I don't know why this kind of thing happens.
When I hear Dior all that comes to my mind is Fragrance and then my thoughts lead to overpriced perfume old lady products lol😁. When I was little, I remember going to the department store and then you'd smell perfume at the makeup counter that was so strong, you'd get a headache and I'll see older ladies at the counter shopping there. As an adult now, I still think fragrance attached to Dior but in their ingredients list on all their makeup 🙃😄
@Lisa J I chopped mine a few months ago I have a longish bob, but I want to chop my bangs a little maybe curtain bangs, when it's all one length it tends to draw my face down. I think the bangs will give it some lift!
OMG I was just watching this and was getting annoyed with you playing with your hair and you said the same thing. LOL Your hair is lovely by the way - beautiful shine. Love the makeup as well. I can tell you were a makeup artist just by the excellent way you demonstrate technique.
Be careful not to pronounce some words on UA-cam because they will demonetize your video (see one of the Tara Lynn's last video). And the Nars colour word "or*asm" is one of them.
Your depth of knowledge about makeup is astounding. We’ll be getting a big snowstorm this week.
Very beautiful look. I just adore the Hourglass primer.
Really beautiful look on you. The eyelashes made a big difference. I was shocked. You look beautiful.

Beautiful! I’m also loving the green sweater you have on! ❤

Very lovely. Happy valentine's day!
I appreciate you being with us !
Please…tutorial on your brushes. I need a refresher course ❤

I really love this look! I have blue eyes so these colors would be pretty. ❤
I like NYX Angel Veil primer. It gives a satin finish at a reasonable price.
I have the Dior Primer, I like it, but my all time most favorite primer is Tom Ford Illuminating Primer. It’s pretty expensive, so I wear Benefit porefessional, on home days.
Great share! Thank you Wendy!
I've been waiting for the 101 brush to restock so I can buy a few for my pro makeup kit. Still showing as out of stock on the website. :(
I love when you do reviews. You are so honest and are really spot on with the description 😊😊😊😊
Thank you Louise! 💖
Makeup is gorgeous and happy valentine day Lisa xx
Thank you! Happy Valentine's Day Miriam!
Thanks for the reviews. I haven't tried Risa's half lash due to illness and finances.👍❗
Beautiful as always. Happy Valentine Day.
Thank you Earline! Happy Valentines Day!
How is the Dior Face & Body foundation for bluring and extending foundation wear on combo skin?
Happy Valentines Day Lisa🤗❤
I love this look!
Thanks for this video

Hourglass vanish is my favorite. You did play with your hair a lot. It was distracting. But I love your videos and your brushes!! 😂❤️
Thank you so much Barbara!

Hi Lisa. If you could lower the lights just a bit. I couldn’t really see the skin

Same age here. I really like the Hourglass one!
The Hourglass is great! I also love the Dior Face and Body primer.. that one is a great plumping primer.
Will be interested in your hair journey. I;m doing the same because my hair is easier to manage with more length/weight.
I have the Dior glow primer and I love it. This video saved me from buying the matte one
@Sandra Simmons I'm in the UK so don't use sunscreen in the winter. Bit I'm sure it would be ok
The new Nars shadow palette looks really pretty on you the colors you are wearing complement your skin tone and hair color
Aww...Thank you Joann. Have a lovely day.
Awesome flawless 💕
Lighting is too bright or yellow? Can't see any difference before and after. Also recommend you make the camera get closer.

Thank you for this feedback! Paul pointed this out to me too... my camera settings may have been changed, I will fix it.
I really like the MILK MAKEUP grip primer
I agree and was going to say the same. The lighting washes out any blush - not just on this video but all in recent memory

Great video, your hair is getting so long Lisa, mine is too!
Thank you Regina! I'm trying to grow it our a little. We'll see :) How about you?

Makeup is gorgeous. Loving your hair longer. Would like to see a real time hair care and blowout.
What brush did you use to set the pat mcgrath powder under the eyes.
Hi! I used the BK Beauty 110 Large Concealer: bit.ly/3jmNdKP
Awesome. Ordered!
Good morning
Pretty look. The hair was a little bit distracting would have been nice to tie it back until the end. Pretty nonetheless

Oh you are right!
@@lisajmakeup oh yes! I forgot about that! I have heard several UA-camrs and tiktok creators talk ab how their videos were taken down!
Put your hair back when you are applying anything on your face 😊
wish you had shown applying the eyelashes -:( I think your hair stole the video... not meaning that as a mean comment.
Wow take a breath!!
👍🥰😍🏳️🌈
Thanks for this video
