biggest problem with that is that other nations don't have self propelled single vehicle AA of this caliber. Most countries switched to a defensive setup where the radar and arnament are seperate units and not mobile.
I’ve found that the automatic lead is actually extremely accurate if you aim a little in front of your target because it tempts to underlead a fair bit. Doing so makes them basically impossible to dodge. Also if someone fires a missile at you you can just quick swap over to it, alt + t is the default for that and you can fire and forget on up to 4 targets by doing this as long as they stay within the tracking cone of your radar, which is useful for being a wheeled kashtan system. For targets right above you I’d use irst since the radar is still a bit scuffed
The Tracking radar is sometimes very annoying, i mainly use the LOS mode and ive discovered that after around 8km~ the tracking radar will actualy lock onto your missile then a few seconds later lock back onto the plane you were aiming at before. As far i know this only happens in LOS mode.
@@aliuddinazfar3388 what makes it worse is that when the radar locks onto the missile it moves the missile away from the target and when it relocks it instantly pulls 35G's to get back to the center of the target and over swings the target. If this happens close to the target you will 100% miss the target.

Also keep in mind that it won’t work with irst and that when using irst it’ll always default to no lead
the air brake sounds is reversed. Compressed air activates the brake, and releasing the air releases the brake. So when you lift from the peddle, the brakes make the sound.

Look, I really dont know how they are supposed to be remotely equal. Pantsir gets 50% more missiles that are almost 2x as fast as Tor, with 2x the range. Additionally, it gets better radar and fucking guns which make it the best in EVERYTHING. How is that fair?@@Notanpilot
The true pantsir experience is getting bombed by f16c’s at the edge of space where all your missiles shits all of its energy trying to reach the f16c and cannot hit anything other than a target flying in a straight line
The only way for me to enjoy top tier is to spawn with SPAA first and by the time I am inevitably carpet bombed more SPAA has spawned in so I can switch to an MBT. But with so many 1 lifers this never happens :(
Every time I see these ground vehicles with fast firing MGs I just think about how much it would take to mount a GAU-8 on a tank and also how awesome that would be
Dont know if you know that, but try the second option for radar targeting on pantsir in radar menu, second radar wont ping them and so they will not know they are locked and rocket is coming their way, most of the time they wont wiggle, since they will be oblivious to your pressence
crazy to watch that missile jump towards the target at the last second. like it phase changes in to the target then detonates, id love if my VT1s had that kind of bias.
While there's no SPAA in Western armaments that have a combined missile and gun system, the C-RAM platform does have a truck mobile system. Combined with proximity fuse ammunition and 6k RPM, I think it would be a fair balancer, kind of like how Italy has the OTOMATIC instead of a SAM system.
