The Secret to the Best Sunday Bread - Soft No-Knead Bread & Top Tonka Bean Elderberry Jelly

- In this video, I’m showing you the ultimate weekend bread that always hits the spot! Super soft, perfect for spreading, and no more annoying crumb tearing - yep, bring on the cold butter! 😉 Whether with sausage, jam, or a delicious spread - this bread pairs perfectly with anything. And the best part? Kneading? Totally optional! Who wants to spend hours in the kitchen when you can just let the dough do its thing?
And to make it even better, here’s my absolute favorite jam: elderberry jelly with Tonka beans and cinnamon! Sounds fancy? It tastes so good, you won’t want anything else!
Sunday Bread Recipe with Anise (No Kneading):
• 550g wheat flour (Type 550)
• 320g milk
• 11g salt
• 1g yeast (yes, just 1g!)
• 45g butter (room temperature)
• 55g sugar or honey
• 1 egg
• 2 tsp anise
Instructions:
Friday evening: Just mix all the ingredients (don’t worry, the dough kneads itself!).
Saturday morning and afternoon: Stretch and fold the dough - quick and easy.
Saturday evening: Shape it into a loaf and pop it in the fridge.
Sunday morning: Preheat the oven, sleep in, and then bake - your perfect bread is ready!
Tonka Bean Elderberry Jelly Recipe:
• 750ml elderberry juice (pure)
• 500g jam sugar
• 1 tsp ground Tonka beans
• 1/2 cinnamon stick
Instructions:
Boil everything, add the cinnamon and Tonka beans, do a set test, and pour into sterilized jars. It’s super easy and tastes incredible!
