- 2024 is on the horizon, and so is Maiden for Australia and New Zealand! (For the first time in 8 years!)

Iron Maiden is definitely generational. I'm in my late 40's and I took my teenager to see the Legacy tour last year. It was a great bonding experience 🔥🎸🤘⚡️

This is perfect timing, i was already planning to visit my friends in Australia next september and now we're gonna go see Maiden together on the 12th in Sydney.
I wonder if they'll tweak the setlist a bit, but even if not, i don't care.
Saw them in July for the European tour and it was a blast. Im very excited i get to see them again

Canadian fan here. Didn't get to see them this year, the 3 Canadian dates lined right up with the weekend I was getting married. So for next year. My deam list is Costa Rica, St John's Newfoundland and Ottawa. I assume it will be the Quebec city, Montreal Toronto tour. Ether way I'm looking forward to it!
I've said this before and I'll say it again. As long as something tragic doesn't happen to the band, they can easily go like another 5 years of quality touring. I'm also sick of people saying how they are gonna retire any day now. Cleary they aren't and show no signs of it.

I saw them on the Book of Souls tour in Melbourne, AU and got to go right up to the plane and get photos as I was working at the Airport. I will be going to the Sept 6 show in Melbourne. I cannot wait as I had tickets to that Legacy of the Beast tour and was so disappointed.

I live in Auckland, NZ so I'll 100% be going to that, and I'll also fly over to Brisbane. I saw them in Nottingham, UK in July, too! I can't wait. I had my ticket for their 2020 Auckland show, then that went south, so I'm trying to make up for it.

I'm very pleasantly surprised there won't be a summer tour in North America. That means they'll play in indoor arenas. I hate those very remote shed amphitheaters. No more waiting in line in the heatwave!

Do you guys know "Licks of the Beast" UA-cam Channel with this amazing Iron Maiden Canadian "scholar" and guitar player? He describes all Adrian Smith and Dave Murray guitar riffs and solos, as he brilliantly describes all the melodic lines and stuff.
If dont know it, you MUST have a look!
As for Maiden, I hope they return to Europe and visit my country, which is Portugal.

I can’t believe they’re finally coming back to Australia. I’m so damn happy right now. Just wish I had the money in my account right now to clear the entire tour. Definitely gonna do Sydney as well as Perth, but already thinking about Melbourne, have some fun with this.
If gigs sell out, resale tickets have been pretty reliable through the years. Adding on later is always an option! Enjoy it. :)

I hope you get a lot of shows in the US next year for you all to enjoy by the sounds of it it’s going to be a new future past tour show so hopefully The Parchment makes the setlist fingers crossed even though I really enjoyed the Death Of The Celts live it was great at Power Trip and at the Nottingham show 🎸🤘🤘
I found out via your video thumbnail, so thanks for that. I plan on getting a ticket for Melbourne on day of sale. I was going to go to the Legacy show here, but covid put the halt on that. Tbh I'd prefer to see that tour than the Future Past, however I'm not complaining at all. Haven't been able to see them since Book of Souls tour in 2016 (same venue).

I agree about the retirement talk, Steve Harris will die on stage, he will never retire! Begs the question; if one of the other boys got seriously sick (unrecoverable), would they replace and continue?
It sounded like they had backup for Niclo this year had he not got in shape for it. I think it would entirely depend on the situation

Did you guys notice Dave's guitar tech, Colin playing the Deja Vu riff in their promo video? I would love if they dropped that one in there. Bruce keeps teasing us with it during his speeches between songs ,but for them to tease it in a tour video???? Got my hopes way too high.
Would pull out Celts for Parchment and Fear of the Dark for Deja Vu or Sea of Madness.🤘🤘
'Death of Celts' is a fine atmospheric song, but it felt a bit too like halting the set. So yes, more SiT material really would benefit the setlist.
I don't think Bruce should boast about not downtuning etc, just in case they do end up needing to! I mean, well done, but yeah, be careful.

theres a guy who does vlogs on youtube about download festival uk who reckons the poster for next year has been leaked and says maiden are headline there next summer , reckons he always gets the line up right , dont think so myself

Bruce sounded really good.
Most bands tune down as their singers age. Amazing Maiden doesn’t given Bruce’s parts.
Nicko was still very basic as he recovers from his stroke.
At this point the show has gotten so silly I kind of wish they’d cut out the cheesier elements of the show…..namely, Gers.
But, that’s just me.
The Maiden News Show !!! Honestly I don’t think the set will change a lot. Maybe just TNOTB and Hallowed but not sea of madness unfortunately. They won’t play Rock in Rio for sure.
