2:55 . The Malp does have a night vision mode. It is called lights. (that were said to be broken earlier) 16:30 Is it? They do have the shields that come down. 27:25: 2nd time. 1st time is the movie.
Lights and night vision are two very different things so the broken lights wouldn't matter if they had night vision. The shields were explained to me below so I get it now. ;) Ahh, thank you!
@@angeltalion My point was if you have lights you don't really need night vision as well. (although if it does not cost much they may add it from now on)
4:28 There are some sounds that just do something with you. Be it the Stargate, the Iris in the show, or A Lightsaber in Star Wars, or in Mass Effect a Reaper sound. :D It hits different spots within us.
The kaboosh kills, but it has no compression wave, it’s just an event horizon changing position. When they want bullet-proof, they lower the blast shield.
This will be my 3rd run, but it's been over 10 years so it's kinda like a really distant memory or great dream I barely remember. Do you know what I mean?
Have you watched Star Trek: TNG, DS9, and Voyager? Red Dwarf? Farscape? Lexx? Cuz those are awesome, too. I don't think I could watch SG-1 20 times, would be torture.
@@Christobanistan TNG, DS9, Enterprise, Voyager. Tried Farscape years ago but just a bit weird. Original Battlestar Galactica. Buck Rogers in the 25th century.
@@JeffMeyers-zm2lh Aw, try Farscape again. It's literally all muppets from the Jim Henson Muppet Company. It's a little goofy, but it has even better bad guys than SG-1! But Lexx has the craziest story and best baddies you'll ever hear. It literally takes place through 2 entire universes.
Your reactions make me want to rewatch for the 80th time. What do you think of them trying to get another series made? Yes, Stargate has one of the most interesting universes with so much potential, kind of sad that the later seasons don't explore it as much as the beginning ones. That's kind of expected I guess as TV shows at the time were moving away from mass world building and focusing on a central story. Hammond is so great, that scene where they're trying to convince him when they already won haha. Again, Jack and Sam is the best "will they, won't they." Never too much, always just enough. "You'll never wear that sweet little tank top number again." HAHA
I have to admit, while I absolutely love Daniel, it never actually occurred to me to ship him with Jack. Teal'c, maybe, but not Jack. But I never really shipped the characters of this show like I do with many other shows. Edit: Also, as an anthropologist (with training in linguistics), I'm going to call BS on almost everything Daniel has just said about prehistoric humans and different human species. First off, they almost certainly didn't always have forcible relations to procreate. That is not a sustainable way for species to continue to exist. Although it is something that happens in territorial disputes when taking over rival territory among modern humans today, so it has probably been something that has happened over the millennia as well. Second, there's no way they were australopithecines. Australopithecines aren't even part of the genus Homo. Their brains would have been much smaller. And I know this episode is over 20 years old, but it's now thought that even Homo erectus was capable of language, though it may not have been as complex as it is today. Neanderthals also would have been capable of speech. As would the Denisovans, who had not yet been discovered at the time this episode came out. I can't believe I didn't realize how wrong the anthropology was in this episode all the other times I've seen it in the past.
I LOVE IT! I just learned so much and it is in really my favorite things. I think your training is if I had gone the education rout where I'd have landed history and languages have always fascinated me. As for my JackDaniels thing, I started off with a Sam/Jack thing but it took precious little for me to see the JD of it all. I'd 'Been in Fandoms Slashin' Their Dudez' since I was 15 so its harder for me NOT to find slash than not. Editor Hubby spent an entire season of Dr. Who telling me "STOP IT" every time Ten & Captain Jack Harkness were on screen. 🤣
I watched and reacted we tried to put it up but, something in it has the Copyright Gremlins up in arms and holding it captive. It is being reedited and resubmitted and if it doesn't pass again we will throw it up on the Patreon so it can be viewed in order! It is a touch filler, but it's still Stargate SG1 and that's all any Gater needs, yeah?

I'll say. I've watched it and Atlantis 20 maybe 30 times through since 1997.

@@angeltalion I mean, shipping Ten and Jack Harkness is only natural. They're both such great (and attractive and sexy) characters.
That's what I said! Thank you.
O'Neill sweet little number with two L's.
The chick playing Carter is not a good actor. That smirk she did at the end ruined the moment. It should have stayed a horrified/shocked look.
She gets better and then worse and then better a lot of time I wonder if it's the writing, the director or her or a big combination of all of it.
@@angeltalion I think it's all her. I think a better actor wouldn't need to rely so much on the director.
You don't have ep 5 and I didn't want this one, but I don't know.
i TOTS wanted Captain major doctor carter to kill a bully, Broca divide sucks, I'm on Schnapps.
give me 10 sec of any scene, i'll know the episode
ok, THAT is talent. I don't care how you cut it.
skipped S01E03 - Emancipation? fair enough, not integral and not a great one...

I think you skipped an episode :P but i wouldnt worry about it, its not a particlarly good episode, just filler.
