This is one of those episodes that hits you in the feels out of the blue, Stargate has a real knack for doing that. I love how Daniel is who tells Sam everything, nodding back to the fact him and Jack already have a bond as much as they butt heads. The relationship between Jack, Sarah, and the dad is so well done. You can see the hurt, but also that they still care and feel for each other, even Sarah's dad. More banger from Teal'c. "You received permission for me to fire my staff weapon.." "I have seen your world."
1) Teal'C gets some of the best lines, I swear someone loved Chris the most. 2) I think I blocked this traumatic episode out but it was so well done. With honor and respect to anyone who struggled with such things and the way a family even one that loves one another can fall apart from such a terrible thing. It's a heart rending episode.
Oh we will be hitting them all! I am a very very big Atlantis Fangeek so I plan to watch them simultaneously when we get there. ;) And, I LOVED Vala, I just think she and Cameron had better chemistry.
