  • During their search for Peach in the X-Naut Fortress, Mario and his partners find various Security Keys that can help them go further in the fortress. Some of the rooms are those where a path has to be followed and there is even a quiz hosted by a Thwomp, which is how we can get an Elevator Key to the lower floors of the X-Naut Fortress.
As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description
Time to continue on with the rest of the X-Naut Fortress, and the next room I show is a lab where Yux are created, and use the Spring Jump to enter the air vent, and one of them leads to the transportation room which has a Cog where you need Koops or Yoshi Kid to get, the other one takes you to the changing room, and we get a secret where we play as 8-bit Mario with the classic Super Mario Bros. music, and they even made 8-bit sprites for the partners.
The next room is Grodus's room, but here we find a new variant of Yux called the X-Yux, or Cross-Yux, this one has 10 HP, and its projectile can immobilize Mario or his partner, and when there are four Mini X-Yux, it fires five projectiles, and the X-Yux can create two Mini X-Yux at once. Then the next room is the back room which has a Green Security Card with the Heart symbol, and there is a fish tank with a bunch of Nibbles in it.
Sublevel 1 has two rooms, and the hints are left, right, middle for the Crane Room, and the other is 014029 for the room on the right, both codes are found in the changing room. The Crane Room has you control a crane, you can get a Star Piece and two badges, those are Feeling Fine, which protects Mario from status like Poison, Sleep, or Tiny, but it does not protect Mario from status like Allergic, Burned, or Frozen. The other badge is Feeling Fine P, which is for the partner, those badges are really useful, specially against a certain boss fight in the next chapter.
The room in the right has a Thwomp, where we take part in the 66th Trivia Quiz-Off, originally known as the 66th Annual Quirk Quiz, and your reward for getting the questions right is a Red Elevator Key, if you get three questions wrong, you have to fight two X-Yux.
The Red Elevator Key allows us to access Sublevels 3 and 4. In Sublevel 4, we can't enter TEC's room, and I remember in the original game, when you entered the room Peach was kept in, her theme played, but it doesn't in the remake. Enter the restroom to find an Elite X-Naut, which we fight for the Blue Security Key which has a Club symbol, this room was not required to enter in the original game.
Then we enter Sublevel 3, and the room on the left is another of those rooms where you have to follow a path to get through the electric floor, and this does remind me of that Snake game on mobile phones back way back. In the block is an HP Drain, and in the chest is the Yellow Security Key with a Spade symbol. Then for the room on the right, we enter the Security Keys to progress, there was three in the original game, and this leads to a room with the conveyor belts.
This room puts the partners to the rest, Bobbery to blow up the switch, Vivian to hide in the shadows to get through the conveyor belts, and there are a lot of moving platforms. Those lead to the other side, and hit the switch to raise the platform with the Plane Panel, and this leads to the Purple Security Key with the Star symbol, this is where you would get the Blue Security Key in the original Gamecube version, then go through all of those platforms again and to the save block, and the boss fight will be in the next part.
