RECIPE:
Cheese Jerky (serves 6)
For the cheese sauce
1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
1 ½ cups mild cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup gouda cheese, shredded
1 12 oz. can evaporated milk
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
2 4oz. packages beef jerky
Directions
Toss the cornstarch and shredded cheeses in a bowl and set aside.
Heat a medium sized pot over medium heat. Add the evaporated milk and bring to a simmer. Turn the heat down to low and add the cheese mixture. When the mixture thickens, turn off the heat and add the salt and hot sauce. Set aside to cool slightly.
Add the beef jerky to a plate. Spoon cheese sauce over the beef jerky and serve.

About Christy Carlson Romano:
Christy has been a working actress and singer since she was 6 years old. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 14 to star in the Disney Channel franchise, Even Stevens as Ren Stevens alongside Shia LaBeouf. Christy enjoyed many years with Disney gaining an Emmy nomination for her voice work as Kim Possible and starring on Broadway in Beauty and the Beast. She went on to balance her college career at Barnard College, Columbia University with filming movies for ABC Family including: ‘Campus Confidential’, ‘Taking Five’, ‘The Cutting Edge 2: Going for the Gold’, and ‘The Cutting Edge 3: Chasing the Dream’. Christy returned to Broadway in her mid twenties and learned to puppeteer in the Tony-Award winning ‘Avenue Q’. Christy was married to her husband on New Years Eve , 2013 in Banff, Canada after having met in a screenwriting class in college. She became impassioned with directing and made her debut in Lionsgate’s “Christmas All Over Again”. While she still works as an actress, she enjoys living in Orange County with her husband, Brendan Rooney, and daughters, Isabella and Sophia.

Brutus Tan Also the fact the parents themselves EXPECT Miley to continuously act like a 13-14 year old her entire life is just horrible in itself. She’s going to grow up and yes she did pretty questionable things and she was doing much more than smoking a little weed, she was on lots of drugs, but she’s on a pretty good path again now, and that’s an example to show your kids as they get older too. Showing them that growing up doesn’t mean you need to just go all out and risk your health, but finding a healthy path in life.
And it’s the parents job to show the right from wrong that their kids role models may do. And as you said if their role model has more of a moral influence on them than you as parent, that is your fault. There’s reasons kids turn to role models and it could be from neglect, or even from having a parent that’s basically forcefully attaching themselves to your hip and overly protecting you to the point it feels suffocating, that can also cause them to turn to somebody famous as an idol.
I’m not a parent, but my parents most of the time let me do my own thing when it came to my privacy and In return I felt more comfortable with telling them more things and being a lot more truthful, I’ve never found myself needing to lie to them in fear they would get too angry with me, and I’ve also never felt neglected by them. I feel like I can trust them and listen to their advice and not mimic what I see on TV or the internet. I’ve had friends with quote opposite experience on both a neglect side and the smothering+overly strict side, and they usually ended up down very rough life paths from either learning to be more sneaky and secretive, or having parents that just don’t care at all.
Jason is right a 14 year old is not going to raise your child.

I really love the way he talked about miley. he didn’t say a bad thing about her and never said people couldn’t have their opinions. i agree with him though, teach your children through their role models but if said idol makes a mistake in your eyes teach your child hey that was a mistake for them so doing the same thing in a situation might not be best, but don’t blame the idol themself. It’s as if most parents of today, entitled often boomers, want the TV and Disney to raise the morals of their kids so that they have someone to take all the blame for their failures as a parent. The real world and real people make mistakes and change over time. That’s actually a very good lesson to learn, because I guarantee those parents did and are much worse in their own lives (they are boomers after all)
I loved the way he spoke about Miley here. He’s right it isn’t the role models responsibility to raise your child, that’s the parents job. He has nothing but good things to say about all the Hannah Montana cast it just warms my heart .

I was talking to my husband about this the other day when we were talking about the release of Disney Plus and all the old shows that were going to be on there.
I literally said to him “The biggest mistake that they made for Miley was keeping her first name the same from real life onto the character on the show. People just saw her as Miley and couldn’t separate the fact that Miley Stuart was a character and Miley Cyrus was the actress ACTING. The fact that her father was also her dad without a name change as well, didn’t help either! People just didn’t acknowledge or try to differentiate Miley from who she really was in real life. It just backfired completely. If her name would’ve been Jane or Destiny then the audience wouldn’t have had such a a hard time seeing Miley as a person and the character as just a role she was playing. Plus Miley did come out with CDs that had Hannah on one side and Miley on the other. But was it Miley Stuart or Miley Cyrus that was being portrayed? The consumers couldn’t tell and the parents either. Everyone just assumed she was playing herself but with a script. All of this due to the fact their was no name change. If there would’ve been, I can guarantee the hate and backlash on Miley Cyrus wouldn’t have ever gotten to the level that it got.”
Vale even with name changes some people forget that there is a difference between a character and the actor/actress. I love watching the older shows, reminds me of who I looked up to as a kid.

Honey Milano will smith wasn’t depicted as innocent and cute. If he had been, I’m sure people would’ve saw him differently. Will smith also didn’t deal with fame as a 9 year old child star on Disney. He was older and his persona was depicted completely different that Miley’s.
He was so underrated. I loved Jackson. It's crazy how after all this time the lyrics just came right back to me 😂.

They’re shooting with two different cameras! Different brands/cameras have their own colour or “look” to them, so it’s the colourist’s job to match these up. It can be a little tricky though, and sometimes you end up with two different coloured cardigans 😂

I grew up watching Hannah Montana from the age of 2 and I still watch it every day, I had a major obsession with the show when I was 5 and 6 and 7 but I vividly remeber crying when the show was cancelled, but I remeber this episode, it’s one of my favourites and I love it sm!!!
