he took it extremely well
That's cuz he is a good man. And she is a horrible bitch
For people who may be defending the woman who interrupted the man when he was giving his speech, heres something important to know: she wasn’t really a big part of the project. When the documentary was getting made she was a producer initially , but then left the production early on. She even filed a lawsuit against the director due to creative differences and made sure to sever all ties with the documentary. Basically, she wasn’t involved in the majority of the documentary’s production. Her name was still listed as a producer, but this is Roger Ross Williams documentary. He put in most of the work and financed the film after she left. If anything, she shouldn’t have been nominated due to the fact she had no real involvement in how the documentary turned out, but Williams was nice enough to keep her name in the credits as a producer despite her leaving and cutting ties with the project, as I’m sure if her name was off of it when it got nominated and won the Oscar, she would complain that he took all the credit for himself when she in fact left pretty early on to where her involvement would likely be not that much if one looks at the documentary’s production history and she cut all ties to the film herself.
"Williams was NICE enough to keep her name in the credits"??? That's why he practically ran to the stage and began his speech without her. Smh . . . Most likely, she received "credit" due to a lawsuit. Clearly, he tried to leave her out of the on-stage acceptance & speech. Normally, winners wait until all are on stage before making speeches. Especially, when two winners are announced.
Hey thank you for this background! :) Makes that snippet even worse.
What a horrible excuse for a human being she is. He was too nice about that.
R U DUMB? look at 5:00 ... she is getting up with him.. they were clearly a team.. he ran up ahead n didn't wait for her.. u think he woulda let sum random lady do that? he knew it was justified even if his stupid ass didnt like it... pay attention next time
she's an old woman he ran ahead like a selfish asshole thats why she cut him off he deserved it
they announced her name with his..
Kyle Spratt he was excited to win. Probably didn’t think he was going to win, so when his short and name was called, he got up and got to the stage as fast as he could. Probably didn’t want to make the Award show longer than it needed to be, so he began talking. She was stopping to shake hands with people before heading down. There’s no excuse for her interrupting him. He was the director of the film, and so in a way it does make sense that he talks first. He got there to the stage and if he waited for her to get up their as he stood there in silence then it would be awkward. She should have waited for him to be finished, but she’s just rude. Also, if you couldn’t get all that in one comment then why keep replying?
The Karen of the oscars
so that's where Kanye got the idea
JJAJAJAJAJAJ
Paul Castro LOL
Kanye did it first tho
She won the Oscar too. By the looks of it, he didn’t wait for her!
She was removed from the film's production a year earlier too. Like, the doc was his baby, and she just hijacked his moment.
Did you hear her? She was like "Would you like to be a MAN and let a woman talk?" What an insufferable person
Verbatim: "Don't you like that the man never lets the woman talk? Isn't that just the classic thing?"
people need to pay attention!!! watch from 5:02 on.... the old woman in purple gets up with the black guy.. they were a team... he runs ahead while she struggles to get out her seat cause she's old.. she finally caught up after he ran ahead.. he's the asshole not her!
Actually the woman had trouble getting out because the man's mother was trying to block her in. He was trying to take all the credit that why she sued him before the ceremony and he told the ceremony producers that he was going to be the only one giving the speech. But I do agree with you he is the asshole.
@@kylespratt4072 exactly I mean she's an old lady that shares the award with him and all he does is run like he's the only one who deserved it
Glad she did what she did
@@kylespratt4072 She left the production, or was fired, she wasn't supposed to be there
5:34 Awkward...
He deserved it
POP DATA no. He got there first because he was excited and probably couldn’t believe it. She was shaking hands and before getting to the stage. After that, she should have waited until he was done before talking. Seemed like he didn’t want to waste time and make the Oscars longer than they should be, but she interrupts him and shows how she isn’t classy.
Legorama, Music by Prudence and The New Tenants great screenplay.
Homeboy got acceptancesplained
8:25 was so rude and hilarious
Who does she think she is?!
omfg does nobody watch from 5:00 minutes on you can clearly see her struggling to get up with him they were a team he ran ahead like a goof...
@@kylespratt4072 Stfu...shes an over privileged white woman who played the victim
Kyle Spratt playing through victim is no right for her to act like this. Quit saying the same shit over and over.
She’s the Producer (too!).
It wasn’t pretty but glad she did it!
The producer
When will there be an apology from the Academy to Roger Ross Williams? There should be one soon. And he deserved to win for Life, Animated. Hope he wins for Civil
She was a Karen before Karens were even a thing
I bet she will also take all the credit for the Fishsticks joke
Yes!
The sad part is that almost every speech was awkward
Some ppl have WAY too much confidence !
Is that Roger Smith?
She got an Oscar too. So why couldn’t he wait though?
i can never tell b/w michelle williams and carrey M
I love Zoe Saldana's speaking voice
Idiot
...I would just probably walk off stage in annoyance at that point. fuck that!
it's Logorama, not Legorama ;)
Awesome
Strange things about the Johnsons should've won the short film
LOGORAMA is AWESOME
3 years and no comments? Let me fix it
5:34 where the fuck is Kayne when ya need em?
5:00
4:33 That's taken from Somerset hill! I grew up there!!!!
Nobody gonna talk about the last guy getting the music before saying anything?
5:36 who even is that lady? it didn't look like she was supposed to be on stage
mike wazowskiiiiii
Logorama not Legorama. PS I am glad Wallace and Gromit and Granny oGrimm did not win that award for Animated Short. A Matter of Loaf and Death is a very mean-spirited story.
Anyone else here like to twist their skintags off?
well, this was a hot mess
He was rude for leaving her behind
She left, or was fired, from production
She could've handled it better, but yes - they were both listed as directors, both went up... He was in the wrong, and she let everybody know. In hindsight, she should've let him finish his part, and then say her piece. Totally would've thrown in some passive aggressive jab, though... Who leaves the other recipient behind??
it was the rule at the time that only one producer goes up to save time
stfu feminist lookin ass
It was just PLAIN RUDE to leave the old lady behind.
There was no time to let the troglodyte speak and say whatever bulls*it he had to say.
If she didn’t do it this way, the music would be playing when she had the opportunity to speak.
Dumbo circus 🎪 short film 🎞 and Minnie Mouse award winner
a front runner for modern feminists roflcopter
who is she lol?
The producer of the short he directed.
The producer who left the project not believing in the direction it was going in who never should have received any credit for it but he was gracious enough to share the award with her and she decided to kanye him
Karen
He was willing to shut her out. He deserved what he got. I'm not saying that either one of them is likable, though.
She left the project and had absolutely nothing to do with its current direction that won the Oscar and should not have even attempted to go up on stage just accepted the fact that she won an award that she should have not had any credit for because she did not participate in it
For a video about short films this is awfully long
My dad was the proudecer of instans of abracadabra😂
Nah, I disagree. I understand what she meant by it, cause the men usually do the talking. Just like the comments. And when a woman raises her voice, u little boys go flying through the roof. (oh, ALSO like in the comments).
Ada because it was his speech people wanted to listen to. He won the award and this was his time to shine and not hers
Ada I think it was because he was in the middle of the speech and she Kanye Wested him
people need to pay attention!!! watch from 5:02 on.... the old woman in purple gets up with the black guy.. they were a team... he runs ahead while she struggles to get out her seat cause she's old.. she finally caught up after he ran ahead.. he's the asshole not her!
